My iCloud account has been hacked

I think my iCloud account was hacked this morning. I went to log in and iCloud refused my password was refused and I noticed an email from Apple iCloud in Chinese. I have now reset the password, but just as a heads up to the wider Apple community that it looks as though yet another Chinese hack is under way.  So a simple question to Apple, how can we the user community be assured that our accounts are secured and not subject to ongoing attacks?

    Welcome to the Apple community moonlight94.
    If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare (or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
    The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
    Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
    Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
    Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

    i recieved the same email with the same game and it also stated the purchase was from canada i have revieved a few other as well and am concerned i have changed my password a few times now but i still revcieve emails and am very worried. i recieved the email near the date this question had been put up
    however i do not know how they are downloading apps as my credit card details need verification when i download anything , any help would be much appreciated.

    Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account.  Then log in using a different ID.

    Apparently my Spotify account has been hacked last night and the password & email address have been changed so I can't reset my password. My hacked account is "mrouhiai"  I created this new account "mrouhiai_2" to post this message to this forum. I have never shared my account with anyone, and my email has not been compromised. I can prove my identity in many ways if necessary.  This new account I've just created is using my old email from the original account.  You should be able to verify these details easily. Case #: 03363771

    Same here, today somebody changed my account norre01 e.mail address. Now it is [email protected] and I can't reset my password anymore (I tried, didn't got any e-mail). I still can access my account through Facebook login I changed my FB password, their security check didn't find any abnormal activity on my FB account.I sent also message to Customer Support, but probably it takes time. Kind regards PS!     That does not mean your account has been hacked.
    All it means is that some spammer has attached your email address to some email he sent. That is incredibly easy to do (just change the From: address) and does not require access to your account.
    Spammers do this all the time. There's nothing you can do about it. Just delete the bounced emails and it will subside when the spammers move on to other email addresses.

The hackers added two pakistan subscriptions and my debit card attached to my account was charged $49.99 and $29.99. I immediately cancelled the subscriptions and changed my password.
