My Icloud account is automatically sending blank text messages to my friends. what's going on and how do i stop this from happening?

Since last weekend (3-15-15) I have been unable to send/receive text messages with a friend who has Sprint service. The messages send with no errors on either side, but neither side is receiving the messages. It seems to be only this one person affected by this issue, everyone else that I've tried sending messages to has responded with no trouble. Is anyone else having any similar issues?

Iphone 4 (ios7) randomly sending blank text messages to my contacts
My iphone 4 is sending empty text messages to a subset of my contacts. I am not initiating these messages. It happens everytime i boot my phone and also a few times during the day,
I've changed my apple id...and that didnt help.
I disabled the emails that I can be reached by using imessage.
I dont know what else to do.
Any help here would be appreciated.
I am wondering if a 3rd party app has access to my imessage and contacts?

Or try to connect ur iPhone to iTunes and restore it and active it as a new iPhone ( cuz backups may contain some bugs)

I bought my I-Phone 4s from Sprint. The salesman raved about how much faster my internet would be with Sprint, also told me 4g was being added my area, and it would be even faster. Well now 4g is here. All of my friends on AT&T enjoy 4g, while I am only getting 3g, my internet is so slow, I rarely use it!
Last week I visited the Sprint store where I purchased my phone, to find out what the problem was. They told me NONE of the I-Phones were capable of getting 4g?????? Wow, Has anyone else been blatantly lied to by Sprint.
The other issue I am having is: every time I leave my home area, and go into the extended area network, and then return into my home area, my phone starts resending old text messages to my friends, that they had recieved days ago!. Of course the Sprint Personnel argued with me and said those were just messages that never went through the first time. I have screenshots of the duplicate messages from my friends, phones.
My I-Phone was great for the first 2 months. this month my I-Phone has completely quit 3 times, Sprint says a tower is down every time I call in to report it.
Is anyone else having these problems with the I-phone 4s?You are not alone on issues related to weak signals. It happens to us all regardless of the carrier in the US.
I have an iPhone4, legally unlocked with replaceable SIM that I use here In Australia, the US and Europe. I simply replace the SIM to phone accounts in other countries. Do have issues at home here in Australia from time to time, but many more problems in the US than any other country.
When the signal is weak, ususally 1 bar the phone does not have enough power to stay connected. It will attempt to receive and send, but is trying to process so much that the signal cannot cope.
If any employee from Sprint, ATT or any other carrier attempts to tell you it is you and not their system they are out right lying. Just as they lied when they told you that the iPhone was 4G. Some try to get around the issue by saying 3GLite, but that really does not apply either because of the mobiles frequency range.
In fact the Australian government fined Apple AUD$2.25 million + $330,000 in costs for advertising that the new iPad was 4G and LTE, which it is not. There is currently another legal challenge over the iPhone4S.
If you have anything in writing from Sprint that says 4G then you need to contact your states attorney general. At least file a complaint with both Sprint and the FCC. If they tell you it is 4G then they either are lying or they do not have a clue to the mobile.
When the signal is weak the phone keeps attempting to send anything that you have sent. Sometimes that means multiple sends if the signal keeps dropping to low and it has to try all over again.
One way around the problem is by using an internet or data based app like Viber or WhatsApp. Both are voice, text and data Apps that will use Wi-Fi first then 3G if Wi-Fi is not available. Because they use the data side of your mobiles plan it does not take as much power or size to receive or send. Plus, because they are primarily Wi-Fi then data bases they do not use as much time or text units. You can find them online or through the Apple App Store.
Iv used Viber for years because I can use it overseas or talk, video, text or msg internationally without use of any mobile plan time.
Rember to that in the states you have I think 72 days to return a mobile to the carrier without any charges.
I use ATT in the states and when I am at home here I get almost no signal ... I depend 99% on Viber or WhatsApp to even talk. -
I have recently added a iPhone 4S to my account (my daughters) and I tried to send her a text message but I got the message sent to my phone... How can I fix this?
Don't use the same Apple ID for iMessage. (You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes and have separate IDs for other services such as iMessage and FactTime.
One of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. If you're sharing the same ID for FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime to keep from getting each other's FaceTime calls. -
I downloaded the new iOS 6 for my iphone 4. I have 2 iphones on my account and after the "upgrade" text messages go to both phones. When I send a text to my wife I recieve the same text and vise versa. How can I fix this?
"Sounds like you guys are using the same apple id for imessage. You will need to create a separate id for you wife. OR go to settings - message - receive&send and make sure your phone number is the default for both you and yoru wife.

When I send a text message on my iPhone 4s to my two children with non-smart phones, the message comes through blank. If I send it to each one individually, it will go through ok. Is this a problem with my phone or it is something I am doing wrong.
Check your phone to make sure MMS is turned on. If it is, check with your cell provider and make sure your phone is provisioned correctly.

This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want. -
I'm sending an iMessage from my iPhone to another iPhone but the recipient phone does not receive message because not on wifi. Why does recipient iPhone not automatically receive in text messaging?
Wi-Fi is not required for iMessage. Internet access is required for iMessage which includes when the iPhone is connected to the cellular network.
If an iMessage cannot be sent, it will fail to send and you will be prompted to send as an SMS if text only. -
Being harassed by a gmail account sending me text messages
Verizon. I have been being harassed by a gmail account sending me text messages. I have call blocker turned on and withheld numbers blocked on my phone. I also have gone into the accounts and put the email address the text messages are coming from into the internet blocker. I have also changed my settings so all text from the internet to my phone are blocked on that same page. I am still getting messages from that email. Is there something else I can do to get it blocked or is there a reason the web site is not blocking the texts like it says it should? Thanks

Why is my iphone sending blank texts on its own?
I keep getting texts back from friends saying that I have sent them blank text messages, and some of them recieved multiple blank texts. Why is my phone doing this on its own?

Iphone 4s wont send/receive text messages.
my iphone 4s isnt sending/receiving text messages. when i try to open messages it just says "messages" at the top and then it is a blank page underneath. all of my previous texts were also erased. i updated to IOS 8 2 days ago but the problem just started today.

Text messages are a vital part of a working phone. We encourage you to reset your device. Please back everything up via iTunes or iCloud. Then go to Settings/General/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings. This will reset the phone and correct anything that maybe causing the issue.

IPhone 4: Blank text messages, dropped calls, slow Internet connection
I thought I was going to be so happy with the iPhone 4 but I am very dissatisfied... Every time I am on the phone the call drops, called AT&T and they can't help and transfer me to apple, still no answer from both parties. I could not believe that they said to use DUCKTAPE.... Are they being serious??????
Also, when I send a text message, most of the time the person receiving the text says it is blank. Has anyone else experiencing this problem?I just bought a couple of iphone 4's last week (one for my wife and one for me). After two days of using it, my wife commented that her sister (who lives in Los Angeles, we live in Seattle) was receiving "some" messages blank. Originally I thought it was related to my sister in law being on a T-mobile network or just because she was using a different phone.
However, last night, a friend mentioned exactly the same thing. Out of three text messages I've sent, two came in blank, no text.
My theory: We both text in English and Spanish, therefore we have two keyboards loaded on the iphone, so we can switch easily. I have a feeling the special characters in the spanish language is what deters people with other phones/different network to receive them properly. I will switch my keyboard back to English only and post my results.
