My icloud-account is not the same as my apple-account

I want to use AirDrop, so I have to log-in with my icloud-account.
On the iphone, the login of my icloud-account is an old emailadress which I don't use anymore. And I can't remember the pasword of this icloudaccount. So it's not possible to delete this account on my iphone and make a new one withe my current apple-account. Could someone help me?

Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

you need to be running OSX 10.7 or 10.8 to use iCloud i believe. It shows you are using 10.6.8 which doesn't support iCloud.

The password is the same, the mail address has to be an iCloud address (Mac, Me or iCloud) which may or may not be the same as the address you use to log into iCloud.

t get iCloud messages on my Apple iMac, iPhone or iPad2. I dropped my original email account and went to gmail. I changed my Apple ID to this gmail address on the Apple Store, etc. I've also changed the Apple ID password a few times. This worked fine until this week. I believe I can get game messages (not sure all were delivered), but not iCloud messages. It asks me for the iCloud password, which none work, and then goes back to my old
apple ID and asked for a password. It asks me to reset the password, which I click, but nothing happens. How can I fix this so I know I'm getting all my messages?

Sounds like you did not delete the iCloud account on your device before you changed your ID. You will need to do the following:
1.     Sign onto Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old ID (this is temporary - do not verify it, do not change the password): Apple - My Apple ID
2.     Go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom to delete the account. Use your current password when asked, follow the prompts to complete the deletion
3.     Go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the new ID (you may need to verify it again)
4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign onto iCloud with the new ID

Go to http://appleid.apple.com to manage your iCloud ID and check to see if your @me.com address is associated with your ID. If it isn't you'll have to contact iCloud support to see if it is still active, and if so, how to associate it with your account.

So I'm going to sign up for a IOS developer program in the Apple Developer Program ... Well you see my account used to be owned from my mom and i changed it to my account when i turned 13 well im currently 16 now and I know how to develop apps but i cant run them on my phone and stuff with out a developer ios program which ***** but i have to deal with it i guess so here is the problem...

A developer account is a much more serious thing than an iCloud account. There are legal implications involving bank accounts and international laws. Depending on what software you develop, you may be required to notify the NSA. Everything that happens with your developer account needs to be under your parent's name. When you turn 18, the best thing to do would be to open your own developer account and transfer your apps.

Apple ID and iCloud Passwords are Not the Same

iCloud uses a different password to login than my Apple ID which I use for iTunes and everything else I do with Apple. Can I change my iCloud password to match my Apple/iTunes ID or will that cause problems like those I've seen noted on forums? OR, is it a good idea to keep the passwords different since my Apple & iTunes ID is connected to my credit card?
Note in Case this Applies: I am running iTunes 11.1 on my MacPro in OS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and will upgrade to Mountain Lion in October and then Mavericks when it arrives (if stable). I am about to install iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s (64G) and iPad 4 (32G).

I updated the OS on iPhone 5 and Ipad to get the latest security updates. Since then I cannot access my icloud account. I have tried changing the password and get to the point were I am sent a verification email and advised to;
"Check your email and look for a verification email from Apple. Click on the Verify Now link and sign in with your new Apple ID and password". Unfortunately there is no "verify now link"
Consequently I can no longer access my account. Any ideas?!

Can't access my icloud acct to back up data to another phone. I am the primary and until I can access my icloud account the other phone won't back up. How do I access my icloud password. If you changed the password for your AppleID, the only way to change that on an iOS device is to delete the iCloud account, then add it back with the new/updated login credentials. It sounds awkward (well, it is I guess), but you just need to do that - delete the iCloud account then add it back.
