Accessing the itunes store and joining this forum are different accounts than an icloud account, so it's not necessarily true that your ID for icloud is the same as for itunes.
Did you set up an icloud account?

Recently changed my apple ID. On my 3G iPhone 4 iCloud has since then been letting me know that my user name or password is incorrect. I can edit the password in iCloud account information but user name is grayed out and can't be changed to my new apple ID. Haven't been be able to fix this by going into my Apple ID account or synching the iPhone.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -
My ipod keeps telling me that my apple ID has been disabled whenever I try to update or buy new apps. I've already changes my password to see if that would fix the problem, but the message is still popping up about my apple ID being disabled. How do I fix this?

When you say you changed your password, did you change it on Manage My AppleID? If so, once you did that, did you sign out of the iTunes & App Store on your iPod Touch? If you did not, then you need to do that, then sign back in with your new password.

My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange with the same parameters using the web browser.
I bought the phone when it came out last October. The connection did not work at first, then started without warning in December. It worked perfectly for 2 months then stopped again when IOS 6.1.2 was Installed.
Help please!I have forwarded these questions about the version of Exchange server that is being used and whether Microsoft host the mai themselves to the IT Dept but I will not get a reply from them until tomorrow.
In the meantime I have also tried:
Deleting and re-creating the account AGAIN!
And re-setting the phone (recommended as a solution to a similar problem with an iPad in another forum.
But please remember that:
The phone would not connect for 2 months after I bought it
Then started working unexpectedly in December
Then stopped working again when IOS 6.1.2. was installed
Also why am I the only person affected by this when colleagues with iPhone 3s and 4s who use the same mail system are not (I am still trying to find one with an iPhone V to see if their's works).
Like I said I think that there must be a fault, either with my own phone or with iPhone Vs in general. -

You need to contact the email provider and reset your information. All your iPhone does is send the information to the provider and they are stating your username or password are incorrect. If you contact the provider they can help you reset it so it will work with your phone

My new iTunes account that I created for work keeps telling me that my email address is not yet verified. So I send a verification email to my main (another) email address, and then when I get a verification email to that address, it says that my email address is already verified.
You can resend the verification email by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address.

As I said I have two iCloud accounts, both do different things, i.e. my original iTunes account has all my app's and music etc, and then also the account which was set up for me when I set up a 'mobile me' account has all my calendars, contacts, settings etc, how can I merge these or even easily set my settings etc to go to my older iTunes account, I have tried to set up family sharing and all I can share is my calendars not my apps because they are with another iTunes account.
I am also a little concerned that my fire vault has just set its self up using the mobile me account, if I was to get rid of an account I imagine this would be the easiest one to ditch then what would happen to all my encrypted data?

NIKI am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

My iPhone (and iPad) will receive .msn e-mails but will not allow me to respond or forward, giving an error message that says the username or password are incorrect for the SMTP, but the same configuration allows me to receive AND send from my MacBook - what can I do to correct this?

I have changed my account setting and password, i have downloaded the version of I tunes and I even updated my payment info. I don't get it! I just want to download music! I guess it has been a year since I last purchased something on I-tunes and my account is saying that they couldn't authorize my card for some of my purchases. I am trying to add a new credit card to clear this up and it keeps saying that I have to enter a valid security code. I have tried 2 different cards and I get the same thing. I have also added an I-tunes gift card and that isn't clearing up the money that I owe. It is showing that I have a $25 credit for that. How do I fix this, I have been trying for days and all I have got from the e-mail tech support is that its my credit card issuer that is causing the problem. Thats not correct because one of the credit cards that I am trying to use, is a prepaid Visa gift card. I know that these work on I-tunes because I have used them before in the past. I am getting very frustrated with this whole process, I just want to clear up my account and buy some new music!! HELP!!

email was hijacked and spam/virus link sent out to all of my contacts on wed at 4:21AM..... with the Subject as Rep: My Name or My email address and a link to a web page discussing making money working at home. Could not get into any of my mail, on the web or on Mail on my mac. After a phone call to automated support through Yahoo through ATT, I was given a temporary password and was able to reset my Yahoo password and get email on the internet. I still cannot open my Mail Account on either my iMac or MacBook Pro. I cannot get into Mail, period. My sign in keeps popping up and it keeps telling me that my user name or password is incorrect. I tried my old password, the temporary password and the new password. Nothing is working, I cannot receive or send anything in Mail. Mail is Frozen. If I want my email, I must go to the web and sign into Yahoo Mail.
Help!When you were entering your new password in mac mail for your Yahoo account, you didn't perchance change the user name from [email protected] to just name without the @att.net? I only ask because I've done that, and att.yahoo mail requires a fully qualified [email protected] for access.
In mail, you might click on window on the menu bar, then connection doctor. On the account with the red dot next to it, it will tell you why it can't connect, and if you click on it, you'll be taken to where you can fix it.
