My icloud apple id email is no longer accessible to me

i have an old email address that i no longer have access to for my icloud apple i.d. i cannot log in as i have forgotten the password. How can I amend the email address to be the same as my itunes apple id?

If your iPad is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it, if the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

If you don't have access to your current rescue email address (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

How do I delete an old Apple ID stuck to iCloud when the email address no longer works and neither do the passwords or security questions?

I know I shouldn't have, but I put in my new Apple ID before deleting the old one which was an email address that had shut down. Now the password, rescue address, security questions all don't work and I cannot access the old email address because it no longer works. How can I retrieve an ex employees Apple ID password when she can't even remember it? Plus Apple ID used to her company email address, which no longer exists for her. Apple support says it will send an email to her so I can change the password, but I'll never get it, since her email no longer works, she is not with us no more. Help please! I need to pass this iPhone to another, new employee.

You cannot retrieve her password. Note the Apple ID, in Apple's eyes, belongs to _her_. It is not the property of the company. If she wishes to reset the password, she can go to the Apple ID site: https://appleid.apple.com/ and try and change it. If she doesn't know the password and has no access to the email address it may prove challenging if she provided no backup email address.
But I'm not sure this is the root of the problem. If the iPhone is locked using "activation lock" and it's running iOS 7 then yes, it will need to be unlocked. If your company has proof of purchase of the iPhone, you may wish to try contacting AppleCare. Otherwise, she can release it by going to her iCloud page and disabling it.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. HT5622 On my phone the icloud apple ID email is out of date and not the same as my apple ID email, so therefore passwords do not moatch up, and I keep getting abox coming up on the screen asking me to sign into Icloud but it has the wrong apple email.

I have multiple Apple ID's. One of which is an email address for a company I no longer work for. I want to download all my music into the cloud, but can't verify the ID with that email. Any ideas?

more than likely that app was downloaded using that apple id.. unless you know the password, you will not be able to update.. delete the app and re-download using your new apple id

ICloud Apple ID email problem.

My email used for original Apple ID is now invalid. In addition we lost the password. I managed to establish a new Apple ID - then deleted the iCloud account OK on my MacBook before re establishing it. However I cannot seem to do this on either the IPad or iPhone and we keep getting messages asking us to enter the password for the original email - which we don't know! So it is obviously still lurking there somewhere and of course nothing syncs any more. When I try to delete the account as I did on the MacBook I can't get past find my iPhone or find my iPad without this password and as a result it won't delete. Have removed those apps as well but still no luck. Any help will be very gratefully received.

Same problem here except when we try to pull up the iCloud on the iPad it looks like it is working to verify but then it all of a sudden crashes. We are verified and we just can't keep it from crashing. Have tried to turn iPad off then on again still nothing.

You can create a new account, but all of the purchases that you did on your existing account will remain tied to that account, so only that account can potentially redownload them, authorise them on a new computer's iTunes and download updates to its apps.
To reset the account's security questions and/or password, if you don't have access to the email account then contact Support in your country to get them reset.

My apple ID email is no longer valid.

I gave up trying to change the email and just made a new apple ID account. I went in to setting in signed into my new account, but whenever i go to the app store to update or purchase new apps the old email still comes up. At this point i really dont care if I lose all my apps i will re download them. Can someone just please tell me how to completely get rid of the old apple ID account and be able to use the new ones?
Also will this cause me to lose my contacts and photos?

You need to sign out of the store and then sign in with the new AppleID. However, you cannot simply re-download your old apps with the new AppleID. Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID used when making the purchase, and ONLY that AppleID will allow you to update or redownload the apps you've already purchased with the old AppleID. Otherwise, with the new AppleID you will need to actually re-purchase your apps.
