My icloud email and exchange email will not download to ipad. How can I fix this?

I got my ipad for Christmas and my husband set it up before he gave it to me (on 12-22-12). Everything was working fine until around Christmas day, I haven't gotten an email since 4:00 on that day. He has checked all of the settings, they are fine. When I open my Mail, I see a refresh circle in the top left corner, then it will come up with an alert saying "cannot connect to server". All other apps work with our internet connection; Safari, Youtube, etc. We are new to the apple world.

Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

I have the EXACT issue as Hatchs88 and the response doesn't help. I found a 3 of 4 missing songs as "song".tmp file in the music directory but I can't do anything here... Hello, my father recently passed (using his ID) and I took over the payments on his mac and took his computer. I am not that familiar with mac, but am usually computer savy. However, this one has me stumped. I have no problem starting the built in cam and it seems to work fine with all other programs I've tried using it with. However, it will not work with yahoo. Whether I use normal yahoo messenger or if I try using Yahoo through I chat. The cam button will not light up, therefore, it is not clickable. Which ultimately means I cannot use my cam on yahoo, which is something I use 99% of the time compared to other programs. So why is this happening and what solutions can I take to try and fix this? The mac I am using is: Mac OS X, Version 10.7.4

1) If the iTunes preference window is open when you connect your iPod, the iPod will not be recognized by iTunes.
Also, iPods can work with many iTunes libraries, so that is not the problem here.
Is all the software on your computer up to date?

Does the iPod show up in My Computer when connected to your computer? Does it say Do Not Disconnect?

2) What part aren't you understanding. Here are a couple of free programs you can use to convert videos...
MPEG Streamclip
Videora iPod Converter
The programs should come with documentation and instructions to convert videos.
3) You can go to file-->add file to library, file-->add folder to library, or have iTunes open and drag the files into the iTunes library while viewing the library.. You can also import from CDs.
iTunes needs to be adding the songs to the iPod. You cannot just add the song files to the iPod.

I upgraded my iPad (first gen) to iOS 5.1 and now it will randomly turn off. How can I fix this?

Thread title pretty much says it all.
Shortly after upgrading to iOS 5.1, my 1st gen iPad started randomly turning off when I wasn't using it.
-This has been occuring for over a month now.
-It has not yet turned off while I'm actually using it, only after I've left it along for awhile
-If I leave it plugged in, it doesn't turn off
-I have trouble turning it back on after this occurs. (I have to press/hold the button several times before it will finally turn on)
-I've noticed that a lot of the time when I turn it back on, it will initially (for a second or two) show a battery % that is lower than what it actually is (ex. it will show 72% when I turn it on but then jump up to 90% after a second or two)
Seems to me like it's something related to iOS 5.1 that my iPad doesn't like, likely a batter issue. Although having trouble turning it back on would lead me to believe it might be something more. It is an iPad 1 so maybe it's just getting up there in mileage.
Any suggestions on what to do? I neglected to take any backups. Unless someone gives me other input, I'm planning on taking a backup of my current iPad and then restoring to factory settings just to see if that will solve this issue. Although that's going to be a pain in the butt to get all my apps and everything back. If I restore to factory settings, is there any way I can "upgrade" the to iOS 5.0 (or anything below the latest)?

No, you haven't lost anything. Simply sign into your iTunes account on the computer.
As for the device not syncing, what specially happens when you try to sync?

Incredimail Links will not open in Firefox, how can I fix this?

E-mail links in Incredimail (secondary client)
When I click a link in Incredimail nothing happens if'f Firefox is set as my default browser; whether FF is already open or not. 
If another browser (i.e. Chrome, Opera, Idiot Explorer) is set as default, the links work fine.
Issue started with FF22. Worked OK with older versions.
Links in Thunderbird (default [work] client {whether default or not}) operate properly at all times.
Links in Incredimail (personal client) work unless FF is default. makes no difference if InM is temporarily set as default.
Can I add other tags to this question? i.e. Incredimail, links 
Solved it myself, see reply below.

I got the links to work. But it's aggravating, first time. 
Need to open Incredimail as a sub-process of Firefox.
From the FF "File" menu, select "Open file" .
Then locate the "Icmail.exe" file and select it. Please note that FF may or may not open the file automatically. 
If it does not, then click "save file" (in original location) and overwrite existing file. Next Click "Tools" , "Downloads" and open from there. Links will now work. Use last step next time.

Are you signed into this old ID ("email") in System Preferences>iCloud, System Preferences>Internet Accounts (Mail,Contacts,Calendars), or in Mail>Accounts, Calendar>Accounts or Contacts>Accounts?

If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced.

I'm not sure if this applys but when people updated to iOS 6 they encountered a issue that was the same as yours their wifi was grated out but the could see the toggle

Delete the song (move it to the Trash) and download it again under iTunes Store>Quick Links>Purchased>Music>Songs>Not in My Library.
