My icloud eMail got updated on 06/11 for the last time.
Since then I am getting the "cannot get mail connection to the server failed" message on my ipad. Apples support site is not too helpful. Went throught the suggested steps numerous times. Tried different wireless networks with same result. Same issue with MacBook. Cannot access my emails.

Hi, I m using an iPhone 4 and my yahoo push email was working just fine but for the last few days I am experiencing some problem that is the emails are not getting pushed , I have to manually fetch the mails. contacts backup to iCloud

I have updated my iPhone 4 for the first time in about a year. I had synced it so my photos should be safe but it's now telling me I have to restore. I'm worried I will lose my messages and whatsapp videos as I have a pc so these aren't saved elsewhere
Restore from backup and everything will be exactly as it was when the backup was created.
Restore as new and the device will be as if it just came out of the box. -

I would like know if there is any timestamp feature in Project Server 2007, so that it can be possible for Project Managers to know when a task has been updated for the last time.

If you are using the My Tasks to drive the task updates then you can use the 'Applied Requests and Errors' available under 'Go To' in the Task Updates area. Here the PM can find when requests have been approved and how many updates he/she received for a
particular task (by clicking the task name) etc.

HT4623 updating my iPad 2 (for the first time)
I am stuck at a screen that says "Connect to itunes" and I cannot go anywhere?
What do I do? If I hit back, it has me choose between 1) set up new iPad 2) Restore from iCloud backup or 3) Restore from iTunes Backup
It won't do anything on 2 or 3, and I am afraid I will lose everything I have aquired for the last year if I hit Set up as new iPad......
please help!Setup as new if you do not have backup (data will be lost).

Misspelled email address when login to iPhone for the first time
Hello everyone,
I have quite a big issue with my iPhone (I have iPhone 5c).
When I was creating my apple id for iPhone for the first time (after I purchased it) I added an unexisting email address by accident (I never had or used that email as a domain I misspelled does not even exist...).
Now I cannot access my phone at all (I needed to change a SIM card) and when I turned my phone back on, it showed that my phone was assigned for a particular apple id that is impossible to use - as an email (which is also an apple id in that case) and its domain,do not exist ...(it was even impossible to verify password after I accessed iPhone for the first time).
I did not realized I cannot switch it to the other id to unlock my phone...as to change main apple id I would have to do it through the old one and this is - as I stated above - not possible at all ...
using iCloud is also impossible for an above reason (cannot log in as I couldn't verify my password for main apple id).
I have an additional apple id I use for an AppStore (that's how I managed to log in here)
Does anyone have any idea/advise what are my options now?
I am unable to use my phone at all because of that

Help! Phone update stuck on 7% for the last 6 hours!
I was told i needed to update my phone (curve 9360) to the latest software. so i did all the necessary things needed, and then it got down to the actually installing, and the screen was said:

it was on this for 4 hours, so i took battery out to restart, when i did turn it back on, it got back to 7% and stopped. help, i need my phone urgently as i have NO way of contacting anyone - therefore wont be able to go to work, because i cant contact the person who gives me a lift. I see there is another ios update. I have an iPhone 4S. The last time I updated the ios I lost all my contacts, as I had not been using the iCloud as a backup. I am now apprehensive about the latest update. How can I determine if contacts are backed up?
You should never lose contacts under any circumstances.
Although contacts are included with the iPhone's backup, contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer where such important data should be available with or without an iPhone or any cell phone. Not a good idea to depend on a cell phone for such important data which can be lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair.
In addition, there are a number of free email accounts that support syncing contacts over the air including an iCloud account, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
If you are not syncing contacts over the air with an iCloud account and not backing up your iPhone wirelessly with your iCloud account, your iPhone's backup is being updated by iTunes on your computer which is updated as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
With Windoze, contacts can be synced with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events, notes, and reminders, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express and by Windows Mail called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. With a Mac, contacts can be synced with the Address Book app. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If the supported address book app on your computer is not used and has no contacts available, before the first sync for this data enter one contact in the supported address book app on your computer. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select. -
I need to change my iCloud email address. I changed it for my Apple id but I can't log out of iCloud to change it there. Find my iPad is activated so I can't delete my iCloud account. I don't have the email address the iCloud login has anymore so I can't have the password sent there. To sum it up, iCloud has an old email for the account log-in. I don't remember the password for the old email. I have Find My iPad activated so the iCloud account cannot be deleted. And I am already logged out of iTunes & App Store.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple IDand that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Just got a new MacMini. Migrated files using Time Machine. However, now, on Launchpad, I see several Firmware updates that were relevant for the old machine, but not for the new one. How do I get rid of these updates? They won't delete!
