My icloud has confused me for months!!! PLEASE HELP !!!
Hiya, for months my phone has been saying i have no memory in my icloud so my phone cannot be backed up.
So i went online to try and delete apps and photos from my cloud and i discovered the only things it backs up are contacts, reminders, notes etc.
which is fine, but i have hardly any of either of those!
Plus, whenever i download an app which i have had previously, it shows an icon showing its coming from my icloud! im worried about my phone not being backed up incase its stolen and i lose my photos... But should i not worry anymore?

iCloud is mostly a sync tool.
You access most of those things (with the exception od Photo Stream) from a computer by going to iCloud.com.
Outside of an iOS device, Photo Stream can be accessed on Mac running OS X 10.7.5 or later and via iCloud Control Panel on PCs running Windows Vista or later.
Windows Vista: iCloud Control Panel 2.1.3 for Windows Vista
Windows 7 or later: iCloud Control Panel 3.1 for Windows
iCloud backups are not accessible via iCloud.
Here’s what iCloud backs up:
Purchased history for music, movies, TV shows, apps, and booksYour iCloud backup includes information about the content you have purchased, but not the purchased content itself. When you restore from an iCloud backup, your purchased content is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. Automatic downloading is based on iTunes in the Cloud availability by country, and previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the store.

iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages

Your iOS device backup only includes data and settings stored on your device. It doesn't include data already stored in iCloud, for example contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail messages, notes, shared photo streams, My Photo Stream, and documents you save in iCloud using iOS apps and Mac apps
They do not include the items already on iCloud.com or media (music, videos, etc...)
The only access you have to iCloud backup is to restore an iOS device and then it is all or nothing. You can not pick and choose items to restore from an iCloud backup.
You can manage your iCloud backup from your iOS device here:
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Select your device
From here you can pick & choose which items wiull be included in the next backup.
You can backup manually here:
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Back Up Now
iCloud Backup will run automatically if all 3 conditions are met:
It is connected to Wi-Fi
It is connected to a power source
The screen is locked

I have been trying to upgrade to Premium Mail (as per many of the other posts I read on here)
Every time I click on the Premium Mail link it tells me the page is broken. Thsi has been happening for a long while now. I can't find any way of doing it on Yahoo Mail website either. This is driving me nuts. I just want to keep my email address. We have already cancelled our broadband with BT since my boyfriend moved in and we consolidated phone lines.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

If you followed the instructions in the support article exactly (leaving the machine off for two minutes), then it has a hardware fault. Take it to an Apple Store or other authorized service provider for repair.

Which version do you have and which operating system are you running on?
If you have an older version of PSE, you could use the DNG converter to convert the CR2 files to DNG files - then you can use the DNG files in PSE.

30" has been flickering for months on start-up until warmed up. Also, brightness won't stay on, but cycles down repeatedly.
OK, I tried setting Energy Savings to 1 minute. The Mac shut down and would not power back up via the power button, had to pull power plug. So it seems to be tied to the Energy settings.

This screen indicates that the device is in recovery mode, and must be restored in iTunes before it can be used again.

I can't possibly get a credit card just for this. please help.I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again. -
My iPhone recently broke so I was sent a brand new iPhone to replace it, however, since receiving this phone, I cannot access anything which was previously backed up onto iCloud from my last iPhone. Please help me!
If you are trying to restore to an iCloud backup, this has to be done during the initial setup process. If your phone is already set up, you will have to go back to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content & Settings, then go back through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to complete.
Also, your replacement phone must be running the same iOS version or higher to restore to your backup. If you are running an older version of iOS than the device that was backed up, your backup will not be visible when you choose to restore to your iCloud backup. If this is the case, you'll have to update your replacement phone first.
