My iCloud is not syncing with my outlook

my iCloud is not syncing with my outlook

How do I upload my Microsoft Outlook to replace the Calendar and Contacts on Icloud?  My computer is Windows 7 and Microsoft Outlook 2007.  Icloud is all messed up and will not let me delete incorrect information.  It keeps saying it cannot delete because of server error.
My iphone 4 and my computer are correct.  Only Icloud is wrong.  I have had to disable Icloud until I can figure out how to correct it.  If anyone knows what I should do, please let me know.
Thanks.

My contacts have grouped themselves as contacts in PC and contacts in iCloud . Unfortunately the iCloud contacts are not syncing with Microsoft outlook when connected through either iTunes or iCloud

I have installed icloud control panel but there is no option to sync your contacts to Outlook as well,it only shows that mail, contacts,Calendars and Reminders are at icloud.com.

  • 4s calendar is not syncing with my Outlook desktop

4s calendar is not syncing with my Outlook desktop.  I thought I had this fixed at one time.

Also make sure you are using the same iCloud account on your PC and your iPhone.  Go to Settings/iCloud on your iPhone and check the account email address.  Then check the iCloud account on your PC.  If you have a Windows PC, click on the iCloud icon in your system tray to see what icloud email account you are logged into.
I changed the email on my iPhone and. iPad, but forgot to change the email on my PC and my calendars wouldn't sync.  It finally dawned on me that I forgot to change the account on my PC.

  • Iphone:icloud will not sync with my new macbook

I just recently got a MacBook pro and I have had an iPhone for about 2 months and all my contacts from my phone will not sync with my Mac. I have no clue what to do and I have tried everything hooking it up to the computer...turning the contacts thing on and off...and even registering the icloud again off of my phone.
    Please Help!

Close iTunes. On your phone, double tap the Home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar, tap & hold any app until they all start to wiggle & a red minus sign appears. Tap the red minus sign to remove every app shown. Tap Home button when finished. Re-start your Mac, launch iTunes, connect your phone. See if things work now.

  • ICloud calendar not syncing with Mac calendar

I deleted the default "all calendars" calendar from my iCloud calendar in a browser because it was the only way to solve a bizarre issue where I had 2 sets of every event from an extra calendar that I had subscribed to and then unsubscribed from in Google Calendars.  After I fixed my Google calendar (deleted, re-imported) and re-subscribed to the Google calendar from my Mac calendar everything looks back to normal in my Mac calendar and on all my devices.  HOWEVER...I can't get anything from the Mac calendar (which is getting its data from my Google calendar) to come back and repopulate the iCloud calendar viewed from a browser.
If I enter a new event in either the iCloud or the Mac calendars it appears in the other calendar within a minute, but all of the events that populated the Mac calendar when I imported my old google calendar to repopulate it have never migrated (unless I manually go to each event and change it from a gmail calendar event to an iCloud event in the Mac calendar).
    Help!  Any ideas??

iCloud will not sync your Google calendar.  To get it into iCloud, you have to export it as an .ics file, then import that to an iCloud calendar on your Mac.  See http://www.groovypost.com/howto/osx-lion-import-google-calendars-icloud/.

  • ICloud calendar not syncing with mac

on my iPhone, when I input an event in my iCloud calender, it doesn't sync to my iCal on my Mac.  (BUT, it does work the other way - if I make an event on my Mac it does show up in that calendar on my phone...) Any help much appreciated.

  • I use a Win7 PC with iCloud and Outlook 2010 for syncing my calendar and contacts. I can enter data in my Outlook Calendar and it will appear in iCloud, but data entered in iCloud does not sync back to Outlook.  ICloud syncs to my iphone fine both ways.

I use Win 7 PC with iCloud and Outlook 2010 for syncing my Contacts and Calendar.  They have stopped syncing...mostly.
Now, appointments I enter on my local Outlook (iCloud) Calendar goes up to iCloud fine.  But, data I enter on iCloud directly does not come down to my local Outlook iCloud Calendar.  If I reboot the computer, the iCloud data shows up.
Also, Contacts I try to enter on my Outlook (iCloud) Contacts goes up to iCloud fine, but does not show up in my local iCloud Contacts.
All syncing works with my iPhone.
I have signed out of iCloud on PC.  I have stopped syncing and re-started.  No change.
I have an .aplzod folder for iCloud.  I have a separate Earthlink.net.pst email account in Outlook and a me.com.pst Outlook email account (which I don't actually use) listed under Data Files.
Any help would be appreciated.  Curious that Outlook will upload to iCloud but not receive downloads unless I reboot.  However, rebooting does not download the missing Contacts.

    Hi Jim!
You've started off with some good troubleshooting steps, so let's see if we can take this a little further and figure out what the issue is with your iCloud contacts and calendars. I have two articles here that will help you troubleshoot this issue a little further, but the troubleshooting steps for both articles are exactly the same, so I will lay those out for you here:
Note: When using iCloud Control Panel 2.0 and later, iCloud Calendar event descriptions in Outlook 2010 do not support text formatting (bold, italics, or underline), HTML, images, or attachments. The contextual (right-click) menu has also been disabled.
If you are having trouble with a PC (with Outlook 2007 or 2010) and iCloud Calendar, try each of these steps, testing after each to see if the issue is resolved:
Verify that you are using a Windows configuration that is supported by iCloud. For more information, see iCloud system requirements.
When enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel, part of the setup process is to copy your Calendars data from the default Outlook ".pst" file to iCloud, and then remove the Calendars from the ".pst" file by placing them in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook. The Calendars data is then stored in the iCloud data set within Outlook so that changes can be pushed to and from Outlook by iCloud. Be sure you are looking for your data within the iCloud dataset within Outlook after enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel. The deleted files can be seen by viewing Deleted Items within your Outlook Folder List. This is not iCloud removing your data; iCloud simply copies your data into the iCloud data set and then removes the local Calendars data by placing it in the Deleted Items folder.
Make sure your computer is online. Attempt to view www.apple.com and iCloud.com. If you can't connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events will not update in Outlook. Click here for more information about troubleshooting your Internet connection.
Open a secure website to test if you are online as is necessary for iCloud Calendar. This also tests if the ports 80 and 443 are accessible. Outlook requires port 443 access to iCloud in order to push and pull updates to and from the iCloud Calendar servers.
Verify that your iCloud member name is entered into the iCloud Control Panel pane. See iCloud Setup for more information about setting up iCloud on Windows.
Completely close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
If you recently made changes in Outlook and they are not moving to your other devices or vice-versa, click the Refresh button in Outlook.
Turn iCloud Calendar off and back on:
    Close Outlook.
    Open the Windows Control Panel:
In Windows 8, move the pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen to show the Charms bar, click the Search charm, and then click the iCloud Control Panel on the left.
In Windows 7 and Vista, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Remove the checkmark in the checkbox next to Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, and click Apply. Wait a few seconds, then replace the checkmark, and click Apply.
Open Outlook and test to see if the issue has been resolved.
Ensure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook.
    Outlook 2010:
    Open Outlook 2010.
    Click the File menu.
Click Options in the left panel of the Outlook window.
Click Add-Ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window.
Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and verify that the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed.
For Outlook 2007, follow these steps to verify the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active
    Open Outlook 2007.
From the Tools menu, choose Trust Center.
Select Add-ins from the left column.
Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and verify that the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed.
For additional information about managing Add-ins with Microsoft Outlook, see this Microsoft support document.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.

  • ICloud not syncing with my outlook calendar?

I have a 3GS iPhone and ipdad2 both have been upgraded to the new IOS software. The calendars were automatically syncing yesterday with my outlook calendar but today when I add a new calendar item to either my ipad2 or 3GS iPhone it  will not show up on my outlook calendar.  My iPhone and iPad calendars are automatically syncing but not my Outlook calendar, I checked my settings on both devices and the iCloud is on. Any advice?

Yo can initially install and synce Outlook 2007 with iCloud.  Be careful.  Everything in the Contacts group will move sync up as contacts.  You can use Groups in outlook before syncing for the first time. iCloud does recognize groups.  Download the iCloud for Outlook(PC) app here.  http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.  It installs a ew toolbar that says Refreash iCloud.  I have not been sucessful at getting the app to re-sync my outlook with iCloud. In either direction.  iCloud to my Apple devices works great.  But I sure would like to keep Outlook in sync also.  I have been searching for a way to re-initiate the action that takes place when you first install the app.  I have not found a way yet to force a re-syn of Outlook to the iCloud.

  • Why are some iCloud services not syncing with my Mac?

iCloud seems to be syncing just fine between my iPhone 4S (AT&T 4G) (iOS 5.1.1) and my iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G) (iOS 5.1.1), but not with my MacBook Air (Late 2010) (Mountian Lion 10.8.1). Here's a list of iCould services that I've noticed are and are not working:
iCloud mail (@me.com) and Gmail syncs and updates on my computer sometimes. (I get that these might be seperate issues. I think I need to change the "port" on one or both – suggestions?).
Exchange email syncs and updates on my computer most of the time.
Notes syncs and updates on my computer never.
Photo Stream has stopped updating and syncing on my computer altogether (worked for the first few weeks and not for the past few weeks).
iMessage synced with my computer and phone before Mountian Lion released (that is, all incomming iMessages sent to my Apple ID would be recieved at my phone and computer), but I don't think it's worked since.
iCal, Contacts, and Reminders seem to update and sync on my computer all of the time.
Because they're all iCloud services I want to think there is a one common problem – which is why I've created only one thread. But because they are not common to all services, I'm guessing it might be a case by case basis.
Of course I should state all iCloud services are turned on for all devices and computer, and I am using the same Apple ID for them all. Also, all devices/computer are connected to internet via Wi-Fi/4G pretty much all the time. Finally, it's possible there are other issues I've missed—although it seems unlikely since I use them all, all the time)—I think this is a pretty good representation of my problems.
    Thanks for your help!!

For photo stream, if the source of the photos is an iOS device, be sure the photo app used to take the picture has been turned off, not just sleeping.
Have you rebooted the computer?  The router?

  • ICloud contacts not syncing with my Mac address book

When I log into iCloud and enter a new contact or edit a contact, the new contact info does not get transferred to my Mac Contacts, and I have the iCloud account enabled in Contact prreferences.
My wife and I have found similar problems with the Calendar.
Is there something that I am doing incorrectly or is this just a reliability problem with using iCloud?
Note: I have been using gmail/Google to manage my mail, contacts, and calendar, and don't have a problem keeping this properly synced with my MBA and iOS devices.
I am asking the question above, since I thought it would be nice to consolidate contacts and calendar events to one platform, but it needs to be a reliable platform.

  • ICloud mail not syncing with Droid RAZR

On July 24th, 2012 iCloud mail stopped syncronizing with my Droid RAZR.  My wife and I have identical phones, and have currently active and functional iCloud accounts on Mac. Both of our phones had functional email syncronization before AND AFTER ICS updates.  No new dowloands or settings changes have occured.  I have ensured that we are using the correct manual settings [email protected], PW, imap settings mail.mac.com, port 993, SSL
I have tried using imap.mail.me.com and that does not work either. I tried the p07- prefix, and that too does not work. The only error it providfes is that it cannot connect to the server, and no other information is provided.
I was on with verizon support, apple support, and motorola support and no one knows what has happened or has any solution.
Have others encountered this problem recently? I have seen postings from last year on this, but nothing recently.
If others have solutions, please post.
    Thanks

I had the same problem.  Took me a long time to figure out but just got it working with Motorola level 2 support.  For some reason the settings changed and they are different settings that what I got to work using the K-9 app.  Basically, you need to change the incoming and outgoing server settings from what they were!   incoming server is imap.mail.me.com.  Use port 993, ssl/tls (accept all certificates) and authentication method should be LOGIN.  Outgoing settings should be smtp.mac.com with port 587, require sign-in, authentication method is PLAIN

  • Ipod Nano (3rd gen) not syncing with Microsoft Outlook 2007

I previously upgraded computers and now I can't sync my ipod with my outlook calendar. I upgraded to 2007. Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts or help. Thanks.

iTunes 11 won't even recognize my 1st and 3rd gen nanos. They've just rendered all the devices I love useless.
You can send feedback on the upgrade here:  http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html. I'm hoping enough legacy iPod users will speak up that they'll rethink and/or fix it.
