My iCloud security code never works to verify my keychain,what am I doing wrong

ICloud is very confusing. I had a security code to unlock my keychain, sent to my cell phone. I then entered the 5 digit code, that was sent to my cell, into my mac. It says I entered it wrong. I tried two more times, and now it says I entered it incorrectly too many times, so I must verify my identity wt apple support, before continuing. I follow the link to this website. Unfortunately, I do not see any way to contact apple support, using this site http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/keychain/ What am I doing wrong? I have had Maverick installed for over 6 months, and my keychain is still not functioning even nearly well as it did in Snow Leopard.

You must initiallly activate iCloud from an IOS device or a Mac. You cannot inititally activated from a PC.

I can't get TextWrangler to work as a comparison tool - what am I doing wrong?

I've followed your help advice for 'Compare local and remote files for differences' and I can't get it to work.
I have an iMac running OSX 10.7.2. I have Dreamweaver 5 and TextWrangler (3.5.3) installed in my Applications folder. In Dreamweaver, selected Edit - Preferences - File compare.
Then I've added the code: Macintosh HD:usr:bin:twdiff
However if I right click a local file and select 'Compare with Remote Server', I get a message saying 'There is no remote version of xxx to compare'
This is despite the fact that I am connected to the remote site and can see the matching version of the file in the remote section.
What am I doing wrong?

You may have installed your TextWrangler application without administrator privileges. In this you'll have to look for the twdiff file in the Local Applications Support Folder (refer to TextWrangler User Manual).
To fix your problem with Dreamweaver, while selecting your File Compare tool, try looking for the twdiff file in the following location :
Macintosh HD:usr:local:bin:twdiff
That should definitely work. It did for me

What am I supposed to do if my security code never works?

I've checked to make sure that my billing info was correct online, on my computer, and directly from the ipod. I've called my bank three times to make sure there wasn't a hold on my account. I've turned the ipod on and off incase I needed to just reboot it. I've even considered deleting the account and starting a new one but then I would lose everything I bought. I don't know what else to do at this point. Apple is no help because they don't care as long as they're getting paid. I don't know what im supposed to do if the account never starts working again. Please help! and yes, I have checked the adress on my bank account and it matches perfectly with my billing information for itunes. The security code is the only problem.

If you get the error "Backup not successful" and you've tried deleting the last backup and trying to back up manually without luck, try the following test: Go to...
Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>manage Storage, tap your device name in the Backups section, then look under Backup options. Turn off all apps from backup and then do a manual backup. If that doesn't work, then this post will not help. If the backup works, then go back to the app list and turn some on and try another backup. If successful, keep repeating these steps. If it fails at some point, then try to zero in on the one app that seems to make the backup fail. (I had this problem and found one app failing, probably due to a corrupt data file.)
This process will take time, but if a backup works with no app data being used but clearly fails with the original settings, then somewhere in the mix of apps is a "bad" one.

SQLStatement.parameters not working inside .text properly? What am I doing wrong

I'm having trouble with parameters in the SQLStatement class.
Look at this code:

Now, you would expect this to trace the stmt.text as
"...Simon, Whatley)"
However, this is my trace:

So, this means the parameters are working great on their own,
but just not inside the .text property?
Or is this the way it's suppose to show, and to be converted
later on in the execute method?
I've tried both with "@" and ":" as parameter
declaration.

.text property itself.
When inserting into a database it gets the proper values.
To not make this thread utterly useless; does anyone know any
possible way to trace the .text property with the parameters
properly assigned? Without going "all the way"?

ICloud Number exports as Excel files looses formulas? What am I doing wrong?

As soon as I download a Numbers file (created or edited on my iPhone) as XLS and open it in Excel 2007 the formulas are gone. Formula fields contain the numeric outcome of what used to be a formula in Numbers? This makes the App quite useless for me ... anyone with a solution?

The form is fine and no error messages are evident until I attempt to import an xml file into Excel. The schema is very, very basic and no validation has been applied.
I've looked at the form today to investigate what the problem may be and have discovered three issues.
I tried with two different versions of the form to try and work out why one version worked and the other did not. The only obvious difference between them was that one had been Reader Enabled and it was this form that did not work.
The non-enabled form produced this output:

Files with this extra line of code would fail to be imported into the Excel file.
Another issue was that the Reader Enabled form had a completely different file path for the embedded schema. In the non-enabled version the path pointed to the correct location on my personal drive. The Reader Enabled version could not find the schema as the path was incorrect and was pointing to a folder on the temporary drive. At no point had I manually amended this path to point to there!
The non-enabled form allowed me to import an xml file whereas the enabled form gave me an error message stating that:
"The document restricts some Acrobat features to allow for extended features in Adobe Reader. To create a copy of the document that is not restricted (and has no extended features in Adobe Reader), click Save a Copy."
Are these expected behaviours or is there something wrong?

It seems you restored from a blank back up if it is still asking you to choose one of those options. Set it up as new then manually restore from back up with iTunes on your computer and be sure to check the date of the back up an which phone the back up is from.

You restore the phone using iTunes. If the code was set after the last time you synced or you do not have access to the computer the phone is synced with, google 'iPhone recovery mode'. You will have to place the phone into recovery mode to restore it.

Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account.
