If you've already tried unsuccessfully to recreate the old ID from the new one (and encountered a prompt to verify the old email address), you need to contact Apple for assistance https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password. They can also tell you if the ID is disabled or not.
The call should be free but you will need your serial number to set it up, which you can find in Settings>General>About on your iPad.

Can Apple disable an iPod touch that was lost/stolen?

My iPod was pickpocketed from me on my way home - unfortunately I can't get a hold of anyone at Apple because it's too late. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the device remotely using my serial number? I changed as many passwords that I could think of, but I know I have a lot of personal information on there that I would not want a stranger to get a hold of. Can apple disable it once I get a hold of them?

The only way you would manage this would be if you had a Mobile Me account and the touch was a recognised device. I guess from the message this is not the case and the other post is, sadly, your answer.

There is no such thing in the world as absolute freedom. That's anarchy. All civilized societies have rules to govern our actions. Like it or not, a current rule is that no company based in the U.S. is allowed to sell any type of technology to Iran.

I'm so angry at Apple now that I don't know where to begin. There were unauthorized in app purchases from my account and I contacted a Apple asking for a refund. They first refused blaming me or someone else in my household did the purchases. I wrote back that no one but me knew the itunes password. I got a reply that they would make an exception in my case and refund me and for that I'm happy. But they also said this: "To prevent further purchasing, I have disabled your account and have disallowed your Credit card from being used on the iTunes Store.". Now its not even possible to install free apps on my iphone since I only get a message that my account is disabled. I contacted them again asking how I could get my account back and credit card enabled again. They said that there was nothing they could do, I had to make a phone call to their support to get help. Should I call them? I'm scared they will be just as bad and unhelpful as the mail support. I just want this solved as fast as possible, actually I regret asking for a refund. If I knew this would happen I would rather have paid the unauthorized purchase than have go through this ****.
I really need to get my account back since I have done lots of earlier purchases that I don't want to lose.

After talking to Apple support over phone, they have now enabled my account, but he couldn't do anything about the disallowed credit card. He said that I should contact Apple again by mail to get my credit card unbanned, so that's what I did. This is part of the reply I got from them:

I never said there were any unauthorized activity on my credit card, there was absolutely no need for them to ban it in the first place. Now they refuse to unban it and suggest that I should get a new credit card (I only have one)? I will not do that, if you do not unban my credit card you lost me as a customer and I will never buy anything from Apple again.

If it works on your computer's iTunes then try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

I was incorrectly charged for The Daily renewal, reported it and Apple disabled my account?

The past 2 weeks I was charged the $0.99 subscription renewal fee for The Daily app even though I had previously deleted the app. I reported the problem to Apple Customer Service and their solution was to disable my iTunes account. The Customer Service I was dealing with is now off until Friday and my account is disabled.
This is total BS. I was incorrectly charged, reported it and now I am being punished. You can't call anyone for assistance and I have sent multiple emails.

I have the purchase order for devices, can Apple disable the activation lock for these I-phones?

We upgraded our business phones, and send the old Iphones to a buyback program. Some of them turned out to be activation lock still ON. We cannot reach the previous users, they no longer work for us. We have the purchase orders for these devices. Can Apple unlock these devices?

I am currently looking to get an iphone5 and saw Apple sells unlocked iphones. I currently have an iphone4 that was an At&t phone but I had them unlock it when my contract expired. I switched over to Straighttalk and it doesnt allow my MMS features to work on their plan. Ive tried to switch the MMS settings but nothing worked. If I was to buy an iphone5 would it work on any system with different sim cards and if I had to change the settings would I be able to restore them to the way it was when i purchased it in case certain things dont work. Yes. The T-Mobile nanoSIM which came with the full price, unlocked iPhone 5 will work for a prepaid plan. However, neither Apple retail store employees nor the T-Mobile customer svc reps know this. It was quite an ordeal to activate. I had to order the prepaid activation kit online, wait for its arrival by snail mail, then use the activation code from the kit with the nanoSIM to activate the prepaid monthly plan $30/mon for 100 min+ unlim text + 5 GB 4G/LTE. I live in Pasadena, CA, and the 4G and LTE coverage here is extensive and reliable.
I tossed the SIM which came with the activation kit.
My local T-Mobile retail store wouldn't sell me a prepaid activation kit when I told them that I wanted the web-only $30/mon plan. The customer svc reps couldn't or wouldn't give me an activation code to use either.
