My IE 10 broswer won't recognize that I have updated my Flash Player to version 11
My IE 10 broswer doesn't recognize that I've updated to Flash Plyer version 11? It continues to tell me I don't have it - even when I can see it is on my program files (?)
You CAN'T see it in your program files because it ISN'T a program - it's a browser plugin, and in the case of IE 10 for Win 8, it's updated through Windows Update. Additionally you may need to re-enable it after the update.

I have updated to Firefox 9.0.1 on two occasions. I am still receiving messages from Firefox and Mozilla among others requesting me to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox in order for my system to function. When I do a Help>About Firefox, it shows that I am using version 9.0.1. What additional steps are required in order for other applications, including Firefox, to recognize that I am using version 9.0.1?

RoryYou have a corrupt User Agent. Its showing that you are using Firefox 3.5.7. Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Not meaning to discount anyone elses methods, just want to make sure that I have the installation
on my computer I log in on a limited user account. I also have Norton Internet Security 2010
so I download the adobe flash player while on the limited user account
my computer asks me for the admin password before I procede
I ente the correct admin password
download appears to install
I also leave my Norton Internet Security on without disabling any part of it
The internet security actually shows that the download file is cool and allows it
so I appear to have flash player
when I look in add/uninstall programs, I see it
in C:/Windows/System32 I see a macromedia folder with all the flash parts in it
when I go to a site that uses flash player, I do not get a pop up saying flash player needs to be downloaded
When I go to the flash test page, it shows I have the latest version
so do i? Even if I intalled via limited user account and with my internet security on??
Just want to make sure I'm not missing something

Do I just use the "add/remove" function in Windows Programs? Or do I use uninstall_flash_player.exe ? Or do I go to
C:|Windows|System32\Macromed\Flash and then click the uninstall_activex icon?All three methods shoudl work, but uninstall_flash_player.exe is best, as it also removes remains of previous FP installs.

Yes, uninstalling is not the same as deactivating. Call support to reset activations.

I have a macbook air and and hdmi that i have used many times, but not all of a sudden the tv won't recognize the hdmi. The computer flashes when it is plugged into the hdmi but the tv says "no signal" and the airplay displays option says "no device detected" and the drop down bar is grey and locked.

Hp 4300 all-in-one won't recognize that the paper tray is full; says "no paper" and won't print.

I totally understand your frustration of not being able to print to wirelessly to your PS 6520. Please take a look at this document and follow the steps listed below whichever MAC OS X you are currently running: No response from printer.

my computer won't recognize that my phone is plugged in, so i can't transfer photos, but it shows connected to itunes.
You have to sync your photos from iTunes , if you cannot see iphone in itunes it might be due to itunes being corrupted or the apple driver issue.
To fix this, try the following:
1.Uninstall iTunes completely , and Re-install the latest version of iTunes, download it from apple website
2. Check whether its a hardware related issue , by using the phone with a different firewire
3. if it does show up in iTunes , and still facing the issue then try restoring the iphone [setting it up as a new phone , DO NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP] and then try re-syncing
4. I dont think the format of the photos matter , but still try syncing different format photos [generally JPEG formats are used] -
How do I get iTunes to recognize that I have already downloaded a song?
I have a song I have purchased and downloaded. When looking at the "Songs" view the song is listed twice. One with a cload download button next to it even though I already have it downloaded. I deleted the existing file and it was still listed twice, this time with a cload button next to both listings. How do I get iTunes to recognize that I have purchased it only once?
I've tried all of that and iTunes still won't sync my phone. I've deauthroized my computer than reauthorized it. I've deauthorized all computers then reauthorized my computer and every time I go to sync, iTunes keeps telling me my computer isn't authorized.

I've got movies on my computer on itunes, however my parents wish that i use my laptop for itunes stuff, and i cant figure out how to get those movies to be able to sync with my ipod again, it wont recognize that I have them. Suggestions?
While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it
