My ihome buzzes instead of playing music in alarm

When I wake up to the alarm I get the buzz feature instead of waking up to music. I usullay turn the power off on my ipod. It used to work but after the ISO6 update it failed

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

IHome iA91 will not play music from iPhone 4

Hey everybody,
I'm having an issue that seems to be fairly common, but lacks a solid solution.
Whenever I dock my iPhone 4, the iHome iA91 will not play music. My iPhone continues to play music through its own speakers, but will not use the iHome's speakers. A message also pops up on my phone saying, "This Accessory is Not Supported by iPhone," even though the iHome iA91 lists the iPhone 4 as compatible. On top of that, it worked when I first got the iHome and now it suddenly will not play my phone. The volume bar on the iPhone also randomly disappears and returns while it's docked.
I have tried resetting my phone (home+power), I have restored my phone to stock, I have power cycled the iHome, all to no avail. The iHome speakers will still play the radio and alarms work as usual, and my phone charges without issues.
I'm getting quite frustrated and am desperately seeking an answer. Thanks in advance to everyone who reads or replies.

Try the steps mentioned below to resolve the issue:
1. Disconnect iPhone from Docking System, restart both the System and the iPhone and then reconnect iPhone to the System.
2. If this didn't helps, try resetting both the units. You can reset the Docking System by pressing RESET at base using pin pointed object like paper clip.
3. Also, try updating iPhone and to latest version and check if that helps.
NOTE: If iPhone has the case or cover, the device may not be set correctly. Remove the case or cover from the iPhone and set the device again.

Hp stream 13 buzzing sound when playing music and watching videos/movies.

I recently bought my HP Stream 13 and everything was fine. Suddenly, whenever I watch or listen to music online and offline, I get this buzzing sound from my speaker. Even through my headphones and when I connect to a TV Monitor through HDMI. It's really gettting annoying. Please help.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Stream 13 buzzing sound when playing music. Have you restarted the Notebook without the headphones and external HDMI removed?
Here is a link to resolve headphone and speaker issues in Windows 8. Using the Microsoft troubleshooting tool to be the most helpful.
Please make sure your updates have been done on the Notebook. In the device manager under sound right click and update the driver. Here is another step to try.
1. Right click the Speaker icon in the bottom right corner by your time.
2. Click Playback Devices.
3. Click Speakers/Headphones.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click the Advanced tab on the Properties window.
6. Change the Default Format drop-down to the highest quality.
7. Apply the properties.
8. Click OK to close the properties window.
9. Click OK to close the Playback Devices.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system at the time of purchase.

The sound quit working on my iPhone 4s.... any suggestions? I can't play music, my alarm doesn't work, no sounds work!!!!!! Ugh it is less than 2 months old!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions about this problem? I can't believe that my phone is less than 2 months old and it already quit working.... I do not have it on mute, I tried plugging the ear jacks in and out. I have not dropped it, no moisture, and etc

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you've been through ALL of these steps and you still have problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

After the update, I've had some issues with docking/USB devices that I've never had before. First, the Bose iHome unit will not play music at all. Second, browning through songs via my stereo head unit results in blanks as it tries to display all the data, and some of the data will appear, the rest are blanks. These issues have never occurred with the updates before iOS4, and I've used those devices for well over a year.
Thoughts?

HT1947 Remote iPad volume not playing - plays music on iMac instead

I loaded Remote for iPad to my iPad2 and it found my music library through home sharing no problem. However, when I hit play to listen to the music on my ipad the ipad volume is silent (it shows the music time advancing) but the music is playing full volume on my imac instead. WTH? Anyone else encounter this and know how to make a quick fix so I can listen to the music on ipad? I have successfully loaded home sharing to my mac air and listen to music on that computer no problem (without it playing on my imac).

Well that's a rather useless app.
Then don't use it.
Why would I need to access my desktop PC from my iPad if we are all in the same room together? Wouldn't I just click "Play" from the desktop?
Why get up and press Play when you have a remote in your hand?
What if your desktop is in the office and you want to play music on your stereo in the family room?
Or what if you have outdoor speakers and want to access your entire library while barbecuing?

Are you using HDMI or an Apple Airplay Module to go to the TV Speakers?
If you are using an HDMI it's straight through output. The internal speakers are disabled.
If you are using an Airplay Module:
- Go on iTunes
- Locate the Airplay icon that has a TV with an up arrow icon much like your iPhone has for Bluetooth
- Click on that and Airplay to ModuleName

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store..
If your iPod is defective and not abused Apple will exchange it at no cost.

Has anyone had issues with their iphone not being able to play music through ihome or other external units after ios7 update?

I have not been able to play music or podcasts when my phone is plugged into my iHome. It did so before the iOS update. It does the same thing with my JBL at work.

Yes with some docks and car systems but I do not remember the specific devices. Sometimes and iOS update breaks compatibility.
Try:
- Go to the dock manufacturers and see what they say. Also see if there is a firmware available for the dock
- Reset the dock
- Sometimes this works:

Home Button Plays Music From Sleep, Instead Of, Well, Doing Nada!

Pretty much as the subject states
Ipod touch 64Gb - when you press the home button (from sleep), rather than have the wallpaper and slide to unlock, you instead get album art and slide to unlock and the tune kicks in!
Restoring it to a "new" ipod with just one tune on it, does not fix the glitch. This is brand new and has done it from day one, I have noticed other similar threads where the touch just starts playing music, this is slightly different?!.
One thing, it doesn't do it if the headphones aren't plugged in, nor does it do it if the older style headphones are plugged in, just the new ones with a mic attached?
Anyone with a similar problem got an easy fix, or am I going to have to trek into London to an apointment with a genius and have something swapped or fixed?

This is from it doing nothing at the main screen, after a minute screen turns off and locks.
You press the home button to wake the thing and slide the unlock, straight away the tunes kick off before you can do anything but only when the new mic headphones are plugged in.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Check the iTunes Playback preferences and see if the Crossfade Playback option is turned on. If it is, you can either uncheck it or alter the slider to a more pleasing setting.

Hey guys would really appreciate your help.
I bought a HP laptop in January which started to make buzzing sounds when playing audio from iTunes and YouTube as well. I thought the laptop was faulty so I returned it.
I then got an exchange and instead got a hp-15-d051sa and it does the same thing! I have looked everywhere on these forums to resolve this issue and one source said to uninstall the HP assistant but my laptop is still doing it. It happens on both my speakers and headphones.
Any help will be much appreciated because this has happened on two brand new HP laptops so I'm sure this is happening to other people as well.

Same with me nothing has changed. However what reduces it for me is if you change your battery settings to high performance. But it still does it, you will just find it will do it less.
