My Illustrator CC 2014 crashes on start-up and i've reinstalled Illustrator and the same result happens

Illustrator keeps crashing at start-up and I have reinstalled it and the same result keeps happening. I am running Windows 8.1 and I meet all of the systems requirements. Any recommendations would be helpful.

My Firefox crashes upon start up, and the crash reporter opens instead

When I open my Firefox from desktop (windows vista), the firefox crash reporter opens instead giving me the options of restarting, or quiting firefox. The samething also happens when I start in safemode, or when I Reset firefox. The only way I can open firefox from desktop is if I open it as the administrator.

hello akhalaj, from the crash report you've submitted it seems like the crash is malware related. the malicious file on your pc causing the crash is named ''ebwlduva.dll'' (randomly generated filename).
according to reports from other users it should be detected &removed by microsoft safety scanner and kaspersky security scan. please run a scan with these products:

Hello. Whenever I plug in my headphones, the music speeds up, changes, and stops by itself. And then Voice Control starts for no reason. I put back Siri to see if that was the problem and the same thing happened with Siri. How do I fix this?

When I plug in my headphones the music starts to soeed up and stop ayi g by itself. Another issue is when it does stop, Voice Control is on when I don't hold on the home button. I turned on Siri because this is what started my problem (taking off Siri) and it didn't help, instead of Voice Control, Siri started to turn on. I didn't want Siri, so I put Voice Control and disabled it. I did so, and the problem still kept on going. Any ideas on how yo fix it?

I'd guess that the problem is due to a short in your earphones. Try another set.

My firefox starts and works normally for a while then all of a sudden it switches to safe mode. I restart the computer and the same thing happens again.

When I restart the computer as before it works normally for a few minutes then all of a sudden it's in safe mode again. It just started doing this a few days ago, I never had a problem before and it's really annoying as I end up having to restart my computer every few minutes.

I bought the iPhone 4s and my battery used to reach 32% and then the phone would shut off. Then it reached 46% and the same thing happens, and now it shuts off at 53%. And it start recharging from the percentage it shut off at. What does this mean?

My iphone 4s just developed a similar problem. Ultimately, after a visit to the Genius Bar at which I was offered a replacement phone for $149, I took the phone to a non-Apple repair shop which diagnosed the problem as tarnished pins in the docking connector and replaced the connector for $49.
The symptoms I experienced were that the phone would not pull a charge. I tried different cables, wall outlet versus computer USB connection, etc. The screen stayed black until I depressed the sleep button, at which time the red battery / lightening bolt symbol would flash three times and then the screen would go black.
If your battery is dead, that icon will not show up at all. If you get the icon, it means your battery is run down and needs to recharge, but the defective docking connector is preventing the battery from taking the charge.

HT6001 The MSVCR80.dll file is missing and every attempt at reinstalling is yielding the same results. What can I do? This started since installing the 11.1.4 update.

Is there a way to get your playlists if you no longer have a PC/computer. But now have an iPhone, I can not reload iTunes to my PC and purchashed an iPhone to get my songs but was only able to retrive the songs I had purchased not all the songs in the library.

I would recommend uninstalling FXFactory as it has been the source of crashes for this release. See the Noise Industries site for any updates. Use their uninstaller. Plug-ins are located here on Mac: User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/8.0/MediaCore/

It's easier just to relaunch with the Shift+Option keys held down until you see the splash screen.

It does not. You must have the exact same versions of these applications in order for dynamic link to function properly.

OK. However, crashing on launch can occur for a variety of reasons, including installing plug-ins that are not updated for the version. I am investigating other cases and seeing if there's anything we can do from our side to prevent this from happening. I do appreciate your concern.

Premiere Pro CC (2014) Crashes if I try and locate footage/scrub/create a blank sequence, please help

Hello, this is my first time asking for help on here, I've been going round the forums and web in general for hours and can't seem to find a solution to this. I really hope someone can help me sort this.
Every time I try and open a project in Pr CC 2014 on my Mac Pro I get the "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will try and save your current project."
People usually ask for as much detail as possible, so to that end: This is a project that I started on my MacBook Pro Retina, so when opening on my desktop it prompts me to locate the footage. Once I find the first file, as soon as my mouse moves over the clip (at the point that scrubbing would be evoked) I get the warning and it shuts down. I tried to open a blank new project, which does not shut down, until I go to import the footage and again, it only crashes when the mouse moves of the clip to scrub. I tried locating the footage in the finder to sidestep the Media Browser, and that allowed me to select the clip, but crashes once I tried to import it. I thought it may be the footage was corrupted, so I tried other clips with the same result. It also crashes if I just try to create a new sequence, with no footage at all in the project.
All my other Adobe apps (AME, Pl, Ae, Br, Ai, Ps, Lr, Id, Mu) are working fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Pr and AME twice now. I have followed the advice of other posts and renamed/reset/deleted the preferences, plugins in the Library, and adobe folder in users/username/Documents. I have ensured that I have read/write access in all folders. I am running Yosemite on my desktop, but so is my laptop and Pr is running flawlessly on that. I never had this problem with Pr CC pre 2014, so I'm hoping it's not a hardware issue.
I've also tried turning it off and on again!
I have reached the end of my tether and consider myself well and truly defeated by this problem. I really hope that someone out there can figure what on earth is going on!

Try the following:
Sign out from Creative Cloud, restart Premiere Pro, then sign in
Update any GPU drivers
Trash preferences
Ensure Adobe preference files are set to read/write
Delete media cache
Remove plug-ins
If you have AMD GPUs, make sure CUDA is not installed
Repair permissions
In Sequence Settings > Video Previews, change the codec to one that matches your footage
Disconnect any third party hardware
If you have a CUDA GPU, ensure that the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA, not OpenCL
Disable App Nap
Reboot
Report back if anything here worked for you.

Random crashes on start-up and failure of registration details to stick

I've just bought Final Cut Express 4 HD and am having severe problems with it. The biggest single problem is simply that each time I start up, it asks for all the registration details and the serial number. I've updated to the latest version, cleared out any remnants of old versions (I'm doing an install of a new version, rather than an upgrade - although when the box stating what the install will be comes up, under the 'Action' column, it says Upgrade - don't know why) and tried installing it on different partitions, but the same thing happens every time. I'm also getting random crashes when I start it up, for no reason that I can see.
It's a real problem and I need to get this sorted by Monday at the latest.
Anyone got any ideas what's going on? I've already tried the various work-arounds suggested elsewhere about cleaning out receipts. The other thing that seems odd is that the 'Date Modified' date remains as November 2007, despite applying the latest update. Do I just have a duff install disc?

Hmm, slightly confused here: are you saying that in order to install FCE 4 on my MacBook Pro it's necessary for me to re-install the operating system? I updated from 10.6 using the combo updater download, which is my preferred method. I did this some considerable time before I attempted the install of FCE 4. Forgive me if I'm being dense, but I really don't fully understand what you're saying, but thanks for responding.
Just to reiterate - I am attempting to install the full retail version of FCE 4, not to upgrade an older version, on a MacBook Pro that had previously been updated to 10.6.2 using a combo updater.

Without the actual crash logs nobody can say, but chances are that your graphics hardware is to blame, so update the driver...

You originally posted on a thread that really wasn't related to your problem, so I branched the discussion.
Check the Windows System Event Viewer to see the details of the crash, most importantly the name of the faulting module.
Most crashes on Open or Save are due to OS bugs (especially on MacOS) or bugs in third party extensions to the OS open and save dialogs.

I cannot download a new Version because in my Purchased List the applicaiton (FaceTime) is still there, and because I have halted it it tells me to resume.
