My imac has recovered the same email 55 times. It won't stop. I've turned it off and on, but that doesn't help. It spends all it's time recovering the email, but it doesn't load any of my fresh ones. What do I do?

You can't using Adobe Reader. It looks like whomever created the form used the same identifiers (names) for various fields. Each field with the same name will populate with the information used in another field of the same name. This is intentional.
Normally when I see this, it tells me that someone created an initial field then copy/pasted it to make additional fields but forgot to change the names.

Then I do not get your problem - you can import the photo - you can find the photo and you can edit and save the photo - what more do you want?
By defination thumbnails are small images to help you find the large image - the large image is fine and you can find it fine - and you know it is only showing part of the image because of the "jagged ends"
If you think think that iPhoto should display long thumbnails suggest to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto Feedback
as to your digital photoframe - contact them - in general gital photos frames display one and only one aspect ratio and any photo that is not in that aspect ratio will be modified to display - either cropped to the proper size for the frame or have 'White" space added to fill the frame - that function is totally controled by the Digital Photo frame and any otptions you have will be in the manual or on the support web site for the frame - to put it in old film terms - you can not put an 8x10 print in a 5x7 frame unless you cut the photo down (or a 8x15 photo in an 8x10 frame either)

I wanted to search for the word "medieval" on a web page. I started typing the word in the Find box. After I had typed "med", Firefox put the cursor on the word "medicate" in the web page. I have to click back in the Find box to continue typing my word. This is extremely annoying because sometimes I have to click back in the Find box after every letter.

I hadn't restarted after disabling SearchMenu. Having restarted, it would appear that the problem was, in fact, SearchMenu. Which was my suspicion. Once Find highlights a "word" SearchMenu interrupts to offer its services. I guess I'll post on their board, to see if there's a solution.

Recently Thunderbird started popping up big yellow "notes" if I hover too long anywhere on the screen. How do I make it stop?

There must have been a recent update, and now when my cursor rests almost anywhere on the Thunderbird window, big yellow notes pop up, describing whatever I'm hovering over. I want to turn this feature off.
I wish I could get a screen shot, but whenever I try to, the pop up disappears.
I'm using a Mac, and version 24.6.0

Are you sure that you do not have an add on doing this? I am running ver. 24.6 on a PC and I have never seen this occur.
You can restart with add ons disabled under the Help menu.

They both use AT&T and it is not jailbroken. I have figured out that you need to wipe it and reset it. The big part I have a question about is reading different posts here and other sites say you need the original sim card to make it work, and you cant use a different one. If thats the case I need to know basically the steps after the reset to get the phone to have only my friends info on it.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
