My iMac crashes and reboots 9/10 times when Iog off an account. I looked at the Console for a log but I am not sure what I am looking for. What is the best way to try to find what is causing this?

I have an issue where my iMac crashes and reboots 9/10 times when I log my wife's account off. I'd like to get it resolved as it is very annoying. We switch between accounts all the time and everytime it crashes I lose a bunch of info from my account. Can anyone help me understand how to fix this issue?
After the reboot a window tells me that my system has recovered from a seriour issue (sounds much like Window$ to me...) and a crash report is show:

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

Okay, so we've eliminated the lack of space since you have plenty.

Page ins and page outs - post those (or just post the same type of screenshot). If you have a lot of those, that means that your machine needs to keep swapping RAM around to make the best of what is available which can result in slow responses.
Also post the total amount of RAM you have (in my case, I have 12 GB)
You free RAM of 221 MB is very, very low - I'm guessing you only have a total of 2 GB. If that is the case, I would absolutely max out the machine (if you don't know how much RAM you can put in, post your model number here so we can help with that). -

XML Bursting program was messed up the report format and output, not sure what is causing an issue

I need burst the report based on the customer number for some customers and burst based on invoice number for some customers in the same bursting program. I have made the changes accordingly and sending email attachments as expected, but when the output sent for as an attachment for each invoice the report does not printing in full format, its completely ignore one child block. Not sure what was the issue. This is very very urgent please help me out.

I have an iphone 4s and recently purchased a 5 for my wife. When I plug her phone into our computer I'm asked if I want to set up as a new phone or back up. I'm not sure what to do her phone is already set up with an icloud account. Can I sync her phone with the player that I have installed and transfer content to her phone or will my phone be removed from the player?
Set up as new, since it newer has been connected to iTunes. Your iPhone will remain on iTunes. I have 4 different devices on my iTunes with no problems.
And regarding the sync - it will sync whatever you tell it to sync on iTunes. -
Hi, this is driving me mad, any help in identifying a fix would be so great!
I seem to get this all the time since i upgraded to OS X Lion, am now on Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) and the problem is persisting - my PC hard ware is: 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, the Mac has 4GB of memory (667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM), it is using a ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB Graphics card.
The result is a kernel panic, leading to the system crashing and waiting for a remote debugger connection. I have attached the report below.
I should mention that post the Iion upgrade, i have taken my PC to the Genius bar and they have re-installed the OS - however it has not fixed the problem, despite the mac guys thinking it had.

What's the best way to migrate to a new machine in this situation?
Hi I'm shortly going to get my macbook pro replaced due to an error with the machine and will need to transfer everything across, the thing is I won't have the two computers physically present at the same time.
As I'll be handing my present one in, the next might arrive a few days later so I won't be able to use the Firewire migrate cable thing.
Some specs:
My present Macbook Pro is C2D with Tiger
My new Macbook Pro C2D will have Leopard.
So, I've just bought a Western Digital Essential MyBook 320 gig and wondering how to go about transferring everything across and formatting it as I've never used a proper external hard disk before, just USB dongles.
Am I right in thinking that It's best to write zeros all over it and then format (by clicking erase) on OS Extended (Journaled) ? Is that the safest format?
Also, can I just grab my 'User' folders (two accounts) and click and drag them over the the hard disk?
What did everyone else do? Sorry if this has already been answered, I have been trying to find answers.

Just to expand a bit on the excellent advice you've already received:
1. Format your external HDD GUID as follows:
Formatting, Partitioning Erasing an External HDD
• Connect external HDD to computer
• Turn on external HDD
• Start up computer and log in
• Go to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility and launch DU.
• Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in left side bar.
• Select Partition tab in main panel.
• Click on Options button
• Select GUID Partition Table for Intel Macs; (Apple Partition Map (PPC Macs))
• Click OK
• Select number of partitions in pull-down menu above Volume diagram.
For more partitions than one, after you have selected the number of partitions adjust the size of the partition by selecting the top partition and typing in the size; then move down if more adjustments need to be made.

• Type in name in Name field (usually Macintosh HD)
• Select Volume Format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
• Click Partition button at bottom of panel.
• Select Erase tab
• Select the sub-volume (indented) under Manufacturer ID
• Check to be sure your Volume Name and Volume Format are correct.
• Click Erase button
• Repeat above procedure to erase each partition
2. After your external HDD is formatted, partitioned and erased use SuperDuper to clone entire volume on your internal HDD to the external HDD.
3. Boot from the external HDD.
• Then launch Disk Utility in Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.
• Select your internal HDD (manufacturer ID) in sidebar.
• Select Erase tab
• Click on Security Options button
• Select Option to Writer zeros
• Click OK, then Erase.
This procedure will completely wipe your HDD before returning the computer. Be sure you test your cloned backup to be sure it is working properly before wiping the internal HDD.

I am trying to sync my ipod and the new itunes library I just loaded. My old computer basicall crashed and I had to get a new one. They were able to recover all the data from my old computer, but there is no music listed in the new itunes library. How do I get this to work as it did on the old computer?

I'm using the NI PCI-6025E card connected to an SCB-100 wiring peripheral. I'm programming the DAQ card using LabVIEW 6.0.2 on a win95 box.
My first attempt has yielded some surprising results.
I created a vi with a single while loop set to true. Within that while loop is a two frame sequence. Both frames use the "Write to Digital Line.vi".
The first frame sets the line in wire to false.
The second frame sets the line in wire to true.
The device channel on both frames has been set to my user defined channel nam
e -> clock.
clock --> sets the DIO0 channel to be digital write out.
Using an oscilloscope and some wires I hook ground to the SCB-100's digital ground and I hook the probe to the DIO0 channel. What I see are two different pulses alternating between one another. One has a pulse width of 5ms and the other has a pulse width of about 50ms. You seem to get a grouping of one type of pulse followed by a grouping of the other type of pulse.
Obviously this is very strange and not what I want. It is also far too slow. So I'd like to know if anyone knows how to do this properly. Remember I only need a low pulse width of 0.5 microseconds.

You don't need to use a digital line to create a TTL pulse. The PCI-6025E has two onboard general purpose counters. You can use one of these counters to create a single pulse of the desired pulse width. For an example of how to program the counters on your board, refer to LabVIEW's Search Examples>>I/O Interfaces>>Counters>>Pulse Generation>>DAQ-STC based.
The advantage of using a counter over the digital line is that it allows you to control the timing of the pulse through hardware and not software. Thus, it is inherently faster, and the timing resolution is more accurate. The counter will count down an internal 20 MHz timebase to create the pulse delay and the pulse width.

Hi, I recently unknowingly made a network for my wifi at my home. I deleted it because I didn't want to have a password on it because I live at home. When i tried to reconnect to the wifi, it didn't even show up in my wifi options. Can't connect to it or anything. Any help here?

It will pop up if it detects there is an update and you haven't set it not to pop up automatically. You may need to reset the AE back to factory spec and set it up again. Read the manual for the reset. -
While browsing on safari earlier today I had about 10 tabs open some with YouTube.
I was on a flash website browsing and the system froze and the spinning wheel came Up on the mouse.
I tried to move the mouse to get to the force quit in safari but then the mouse froze too, after a minute I held down the power button and turned off the laptop.
Now I tried to turn it back on, it turns on and loads up as far as the white screen with the grey apple logo and goes no further?
What does this mean, how can I solve it? I'm in panic as all of my school notes are on it, any help or advice would be muh appreciated!Do you have backups of all the data on the startup drive? If not, do nothing else until you've backed up that data, if you still can.
