My iMac does not start up as usual. I now get a ' start up disk is full. You need to make space available on your start up disk by deleting files' message.
I am able to key my log on password however I just get the purple galaxy screen with no desktop.
If I try to use the keyboard I get a tone when pressing the keys.
Has worked perfectly well up until I got this dusk full message.
Can anyone help please. Thanks
Your going to have to follow the Data Recovery Efforts page here to be able to access your drive and remove files without booting the computer.
You can't open the iMac so you will need OS X booted from a external drive or via Firewire Target Disk Mode using another Mac.

Ask the carrier in the US who the phone is locked to if they will unlock it for you - put an unlock request into that carrier.
Other than that and if they refuse to unlock it, then there is nothing you can do except buy a new phone. -

That is another problem not related to the Mac OS X version you are trying to use.
Three beeps at startup means you have a bad ram module in the computer. Did you install the ram or did it come from another owner this way? The first problem you need to solve is the bad ram.
When the iMac starts, go to the apple left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Memory and see what the report is on the memory...does the iMac report all memory modules that have been installed as OK or does it show bad memory? If there is not any information, you then need to remove the memory modules and restart one at a time to see which is bad.
On the bottom of the screen there should be a small door that you can remove with a small screw driver. You need to lay the iMac flat, disconnect the power cord, remove that small door and remove the memory modules. You can then put two in (if it has four) and see if it starts without the beeps. Do that with each module so you find out which is bad. Once you know the bad memory, you can buy a new module, just like the ones installed, so the iMac starts without the beeps.
Next, you cannot use a DVD for another computer for your iMac unless it is from one that is identical to yours. So, you need to talk to Apple and have them send the DVD for your particular iMac. -
My App store doesn´t work under my user. Everything is ok if I start with a guest user. I have a Yosemite MacBook Pro. How can I solve this? Because I'm unable to open the App Store, Mail, Contacts and so on. Please can you help me.

Please can you help. My ipad is frozen. A box is permently on in the centre of the screen saying not enought storage. When i press on the words CLOSE or SETTINGS it doesn't respond. It won't slide to unlock or close down. The ipad is 16GB and about a year old. Any suggestions.
AnnmarieTHis suggestion also worked for my iphone! After a few warnings, the screen on my iPhone froze. there was no way to make phone calls or manage my iCloud storage or even turn it off. I deleted all the photos on my iphone, checked storage and nothing changed. So I purchased more storage, did the backup and still the screen remained frozen. To be sure, I checked that the new amount of storage was registered, it was but somehow my Mac showed the backup I had just performed (a couple of times) not having happened (it show the last one some 2 weeks before). Weird but I followed your suggestion (wish I had seen it before I purchased new storage) and Ta DAH!!! I'm back in business too. thanks!!

As soon as I plug my iphone4 (running 4.3.3) into my pc, it appears in the left hand column and the little wheel starts turning. Then it stops after a few seconds and itunes freezes. I have tried everything. Can anyone help. Thanks

Yes, a very frusterating issue indeed. Someone else had mentioned a possible issue with real player, I tried getting rid of that and same issues. I even got completely rid of firefox for the moment. Guess what, problem still is persisting. I think this means it maybe something else altogether. I will go back to re-add firefox after I get this straightened out but now using Chrome for the moment.
What I've also found out is that the sound can be restarted when I unplug and replug in the 3.5mm speaker cable from the audio output jack on the back of the computer. Any ideas?

It would seem that you bought a phone that is locked to a carrier in Poland. You would either need to contact this carrier to discuss unlocking, or return or sell the phone and buy an unlocked one. -

As long as you can't get a hold of the device, you can't do anything more than talking to your daughter about it.
Erasing the device could also be an option to keep her from using apps you don't want her to have on her device.

I have just set up icloud and all my contacts are duplicated from Address Book! My new iPhone is also showing duplicate contacts even though they are not duplicated in my address book on my computer. Please can you help?
Also, what are the source of your contacts? are they created on the phone, or you synced from yahoo/hotmail etc.
If thats the case, the circular arrow wont be visible but instead show "groups"
Contacts from different accounts are not synced to iCloud.
