Hi, My iMac from 2007 is slow and sometimes freezes, what can I do?
All my Software is updated and RAM is maxed at 4GB. I have used CleanMyMac 2 to clean the iMac.
I also have a problem with Wi-Fi is jumping between On and Looking for Networks
Almost certainly that is your problem, Norton causes more problems than it ever helps. Not only is it unnessary no antivirus app is necessary. Keep your machine up-to-date using Software Update and in most situations that is all you need for security.

what can i do to syn my icloud and itune to one account?. In which i would only need one username and password.
When i had setup icloud before i had to use a different email and password and now i can not retrieve nor update
my account, it keeps telling me that my username and password is incorrect.Sign in with the correct user name and password for the iCloud account.
This has nothing to do with them being "in sync".
iCloud and iTunes accounts, which are simply Apple ID's, cannot be merged. There is no way to merge Apple ID's. If you chose to set up the device using one Apple ID for iTunes and another for iCloud, then that's the way it is.
Alternatively, you could sign into iCloud with the same ID that is used for iTunes. Whether this creates problems or not depends on how you currently have iCloud set up. -

Try:

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

I would make an appointment with the Genious Bar at your local Apple store. Sounds like it could be a hardware problem if you have kept your iPhone wasn't in a hot environment when you got the overheat warning.

I updatedmy PC from Windows 7 to Windows 8. I can no longer sync my Contacts and Calendar between my iPhone and my computer.

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY, I DOWNLOADED HANDBRAKE BUT WOULDN'T LET ME USE IT BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE VLC WHICH I DID. WHEN I FINALLY GOT HANDBRAKE TO WORK I SELECTED THE DVD FOR SOURCE AND IT STARTED SCANNING. A HALF HOUR LATER IT SAID NOT RECOGNISE SOURCE. TAKE IT IS ENCRYPTED.

Since upgrading iMac to osx lion I have been experiencing problems in mail, it spontaneously stops receiving and tells me it can't find the pop server and also the biggest problem is that when I send with an attachment the recipient doesn't receive it.
I have to restart mail most times before it starts recieving or recognizes the pop server.

When I try to backup my files from photoshop elements 12 the "calculating total media size" box will only get as far as 46% and then freeze, how can I make it go to 100%

thank you for your response, i appreciate it. there's definitely nothing wrong with the mouse or trackpad, both work fine in every other application....i can also easily change size dimensions in other programs on my computer so it doesn't seem to be that either. it seems like there is something weird going on in the way that pse and my mac are interacting with each other, just wish i knew what it was. thank you again, wish me luck! -

When a virus infects a Windows PC one of the first things it does is mine the PC's e-mail address book. It will then send out e-mails containing itself to addresses in the address book using another address from the address book as the sending address.
The only way you can tell where the e-mail comes from is to look at the long headers. In Mac Mail View>Message>Long Headers.
So it probably wasn't sent from your Mac but from a PC who has both your addresses in his mail . -
