My IMac has wavy lines that look like multiple quotatient marks or tiny calendars that cover the screen. How do I get rid of them?

Hi, I think you are talking about the extension cord for the MagSafe power adapter.
This you can plug it to the MagSafe adapter in order to get a longer cable, but first you have to slide to disconnect the wall connector from the adapter and get this:
I'm sure you will get it once you slide the socket connector from the adapter. NOTE: you have to slide the little socket connector from the adapter, DON'T PULL IT OFF. Is easy to slide.

My iMac has flickering lines on the screen...? HELP!!!

I have a white iMac running Lion that has been freezing up or restarting on me. I've had this issue with Snow Leopard also. Then I also have an issue that when I open the internet I get lines across Safari flickering around as I use it and it also happens when I open Itunes and other programs....I do not run multiple programs at the same time I close them when I'm done. Lately I've been having to use Windows Vista, through boot camp , but even like that I get lines flickering all about. They're black and thin. It has been going on for a while but tody I got fed up with it because I tried playing Sims game but when I opened up the game to start playing all my screen got horizontal lines, they're black and white or black and light blue something like that.
I notice that it mostly does it while running on the Apple OS and when I run it on Windows Vista I only get the line issue.
Has anyone had this issue?

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.

You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts.

To rule out a software issue, set it back to factory settings without using the latest backup.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn of either Invert Colors (iOS 6) or or White on Black (earlier iOSs).

Did anything happen to the computer? It appears that you are trying to sync to another iTunes library since in that case you can only sync with one iTunes library.
