My IMac is filled with movies but I have none

I have no movies on my computer at all, and I do not know what files are considered "movies" . I was also wondering how to get rid of the files to clear up the space.

But it looks like the Spotlight index is damaged or not up-to-date. Drag your internal HD from a Finder window into the exclusion box in System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy for a few moments, then remove it via the minus sign at the bottom.
That will trigger a compete re-indexing, which may take a while and won't be done when the Spotlight indication no longer shows it, so do something else for a while. If that doesn't fix it, post back and we'll try another finagle.

On your Macs open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Documents & Data, then reselect that box then restart your Macs.
On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud. Switch Documents & Data off then back on then reset the iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
See if you can open the files now without opening on the iPhone first.

My memory says i have 5gb pics, but i have none!

tried to install an app, said the memory was full, so i checked it out and it said i had almost 7gb pic, but there are only 167 of them.

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data.

When you say you have none, are you sure that you are viewing "All Inboxes"? If not, try going back (top left option) until you see that option. If there are no new messages in "All Inboxes" then the messages might be in folders or smart folders.
Folders/Smartfolders
If you have sorting rules set up on your Mac's Mail app, then these "new" messages are in those folders. These messages will not show up in "All Inboxes." This might be what is happening. To find out, open up each folder/smartfolder on your Mac and see if there are new messages in them because iOS devices (iPod/iPhone/iPad) will not sort mail like your Mac.

Did you click play on it ? Even if you only watched it for a second then the countdown before it expires will start, which is 24 hours if you are in the UK, 48 hours elsewhere.

My mail application on my imac will not download mail from my verizon/yahoo account. I contacted verizon and confirmed my settings to be correct. I don't get any error messages, I can send mail but I can't retrieve it from V/Y. Connection doctor shows all connections with a green light.

iCloud space which you can purchase more off, has nothing to do with your devices physcialy space which you can;t change. What you bought is what you are stuck with.
Go to Settings->General->About. In the list there should be a "Capacity" entry, and an "Available" entry. how much Available space does it say you have?
Movies tend to need around 1.2 to 1.5 GB for standard definition, and about double that for HD.

IMac locking up with 10.8.2 have to power cycle

Second total lockup of iMac in two days. I can still ssh into the machine from another computer on the network, but the GUI is totally locked up. I had a song playing on iTunes, it was still going, but couldn't change volume or mute it from keyboard. So appears user interface totally locks up. Mouse moves around, but can't click on anything.
Computer hasn't done this before, wondering if recent OS update is causing issues?
Should I revert to the way the machine was last week? Is this possible? I have time machine backups.

Google or the search funtion here can also be really helpful...

I received a redemption code from my school to install creative cloud. I'm supposed to have the full versions of multiple apps, but am only able to download the trial versions. I was on the phone with an adobe tech support person for about an hour today who told me it was a problem with my school. I then talked to someone at the school who told me to try using App Manager, but even this is asking me to License my software. I just need help installing the full apps before I go crazy. I accidentally uninstalled the audio program that came with the computer many years ago. Now I have no sound at all on the computer and can't get it back without a CD apparently - but I have none.

Can I reinstall an audio program that I accidentally removed? Does Firefox have an audio program I can use instead?

But changes are if you have no sound, you did more than uninstall a player, you uninstalled the driver....

My credit card has been used for a Skype transaction that I have no knowledge of.
The credit card which has been used is in no way assocaited with this Skype account or any other and never has been.
For some strange reason, this seems to be the only way to report fraudulent activity from Skype, even though I am not a customer.
Is this board post the only way to contact Skype about this matter?
