My Imac screen seems to be frozen, what can I do?
My relatively new I Mac seems to have just froze when I was installing Microsoft office onto it . My cursor is working, but the screen is just a white. Is there anything I can do?
I think I would reset the SMC and then delete the software that seems to have been associated with the problem.

My ipad screen seems to have frozen. I tried to turn it off and the red slider does not respond when I slide it. What can I do?
Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. If you see the silver apple it's rebooting. Let it do that and see if you're unfrozen.

My iPad screen seems to have frozen
My iPad screen seems to have frozen and I cannot even power off any suggestions?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Try smc and pram reset.
See if you can boot in safe mode.
See if you can boot from your lion recovery partition to use Disk Utility to repair/verify your drive (not repair permissions).

I have a blue veritcal line going down the middle of my screen turned my iMac and it showed up. What can that mean?
Hard to help without knowing which variant of iMac you have. They've been in continuous production since 1998 in four major families, and what works for one familiy of iMac may not work to diagnose one from another family.
Doing "About ths Mac" will show the processor info. Post what it says about your processor (and Mac OS version while you are there) and that will narrow what family of iMac you have.
This forum section is for the three iMac families made before 2006. -

Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

hello, i were updatin my ipad, and then when it wasnt finished i came to take out the wire, the thing that sits in the iPad and now i cant do anything, its totally frozen, what can i do?
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Often when watching a video, TV show on ABC or Hulu Plus, after going to the full screen, the Press Esc to return line in the middle of the screen does not disappear. What can I do to remove it so it does not detract from the viewing?

The old computer is an old PowerMac G5, but my OS X install disc is a retail version of 10.5.
I also tried the OS X 10.5 install disc that came with my MacBook Pro (2.6 Ghz Intel Core 2 Dual).

My iPad2's camera is frozen what can I do?
my iPad2's camera is frozen what can I do?
When you say "frozen" what exactly do you mean? The first troubleshooting step would be to stop all processes on the device by double tapping on the home button, seeing the processes and closing them. Then reboot the device. After that, if it doesn't work, a restore would be in order. Have you tried those things?

My screen got bigger and when I move the mouse, the screen moves as well. What can I do about this?
Actually as Roam said, you can keypress, Option + command + 8
But i think wat you asking is that you dont want the screen mving when you move the mouse. Right?
For that you can, goto, System Preference -> Accessibility -> Zoom -> More Options...
Once you click more option, you'll get a window. Look at the bottom of the window for 3 options with bullet buttons. SELECT "ONLY WHEN THE POINTER REACHES AN EDGE" and click "DONE"
Viola!!! You're troubl's are over!!! -

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 or the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.
