My iMac was broken and itself with long Scratches, what can i do...very upset

my new imac when i was cleaning my desk, i moved onto my bed, and it suddenly "kiss" the ground, itself leaves a long and long and long long scratches, i
have not any ideas about how to solve the problem, i am wondering can i contact apple store someone staffs to find some help.
my new mac still under period of my apple care, the question is do i need contact apple staff immeditally to talk about this situation, would they will go to my
house to check it OR i need to bring my iMac to apple store?
very very upset.....

AppleCare only covers factory defects.    In the future learn from this.   The machines should never be dropped. 
And never means never.  LCDs aren't fall proof.  Putting it on your bed was probably the least wise thing you could do, short of bathing it in a bathtub or rolling a bowling ball at it.  Mattresses aren't solid, nor stable.  I don't know what you were thinking.   Your only possible concession might be some stores return/replacement policy, or your homeowners/apartment rental insurance.  The former in most stores is only two weeks, and not all are no questions asked.   The latter unfortunately may raise your deductable, or cut it off entirely depending on the policy.
