I have two computers. One that is running windows XP and the new one that is Windows 8. I have tried several times to import my music Library from the old computer. I have installed and uninstalled Itunes. The Apple's help desk had me to re-install. they sent me an email to import my music. The Home sharing will not stay on after I hit done. what can I do.
A broken logic may also prevent the firewire startup to work; do you actually see a firewire icon moving on the old MBP? If not, then you logicboard is probably unable to startup in firewire mode.
Your only other option will be to get your harddrive out to place it in an USB enclosure in order for your new laptop to mount your previous drive.
If you have some technical expertise, you may find instruction in how to do this here: http://www.ifixit.com/. But you could also find a technician to do this part. -

i have a classic that seems to be stuck in restore mode, the screen says "do not disconnect'' and i can't restore using itunes. i have tried resetting it and still no good, what can i do to fix this problem ?

I've also just run into an issue where I couldn't restore an iPod with a corrupt file system, and the "super fix" in that linked article wasn't working for me. I've run across a potentially useful workaround.
iPod Classic went on the fritz today just after syncing. Couldn't restore via iTunes, kept getting 1439 errors, Windows wouldn't format as FAT32, claimed the "Volume is too big for FAT32". Finally tracked down EaseUS Partition Master Home Edition (Free) and formatted as FAT32 with 128k clusters. The iPod is filling back up again. Might be worth a shot here...

If you can get them paired again try making them "favorites" from the Bluetooth system preferences.
Try smc and pram reset too. May gave to do this before you can get them paired. -

Try disabling your parental controls. Does that help with the 450?

I'm sorry to learn that your phone is having problems starting up, marinema08. I'm sorry if this is incorrect, but are you using the original HTC Droid Incredible or a later Droid Incredible model? IMessage no longer works between me and my girlfriend?
I have an iPhone 4 and my girlfriend has an iPhone 4S both with 5.1.1. We went on an international trip and she used a local simcard for a while. When we returend iMessaging no longer works between us. It works between all other iPhone users though. How do we fix this? We have tried hard resets of both phones. Thanks.
This worked for a while but now it's back to the same old problem. Any other ideas? This is super annoying.

Your Messages App on your Mac is signed in using your Apple ID.
iMessages is enabled on your iPhone.
iMessages on your iPhone is logged in using your Apple ID.
Your Caller ID in iMessages on your iPhone is set to your email address.
The person you are sending messages to also uses iMessages.
Lastly, you may have to begin a new conversation with the person to get them to sync. -
Facetime not working between USA and Thailand

It sounds like you are having a problem with the WiFi link(s). For each iPad, unplug the WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect the iPad to WiFi. (If both iPads use the same WiFi router, you only need to unplug it once.)
