Press and hold the HOME button and POWER button at the same time and release when the Apple logo appears. This will reboot your device. Hope this helps.

You can also try a NVRAM/PRAM reset (at the bottom of the same page in the above link
Also hold the OPTION key and click on the Apple logo in the menu bar and click on system information, in the left column select power. Under the battery info see if it is charging (with the power adapter plugged in) as well as the health info (condition should be normal), and battery installrd (should be YES)
If other than these are different you may want to take it in to a Genius bar for a full diagnosis they will do that for dree.

lets start easy so the we can understand where you are in the process. Have you set the ipad up using itunes? if not, you need to do that first. make sure your computer has the current i tunes version loaded, then plug the pad into the computer. What kind of computer you using, mac or pc?
If you haven't set it up, then it does not know to look for any networks.

When you plug it it, it should recognize it as an Apple IPHONE under devices. It will then bring the Camera/Connection wizard for the photos on the device. When you plug into different USB, it should bring the hardware wizard and tell you what its installing, what happens?
Under Device Manager, under Imaging Devices it will show up as Apple IPHONE. Is this being shown in your computer?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without be charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

I deleted my cookies, disabled all my extensions, and reseted the toolbar but my problem still persists.

I can actually bookmark some sites like, www.gmail.com, but i cant bookmark www.facebook.com, www.calendarscript.com, and more others, i have the newest version of firefox and i didnt have any problems wih the version before this one.

also while searching for the places.sqlite file i found out that it wasnt in the firefox folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox but it was in my limewire folder C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\LimeWire\mozilla-profile\places.sqlite so does this have anything to do with the firefox toolbar thing not working?

Trying to download mountain lion, but when I try to download it, asks me security questions I dont remember the answers to, so I reset the questions, but old ones still pop up when I try to download mountain lion. How do I change the questions for good?

I dont get why it asks me for my password and two security questions when just buying something from the app store, but the questions wont change.

I already reset the phone but it is still showing on find my iphone app

I know all about the icloud activation thing. so when I sold an iphone 5, I did a reset all content and settings. What I dont understand is, it is still on my find my iphone application. Does this mean if the new owner reset her iPhone, it will go to activation and ask for my password again? If the new owner sets up her icloud account on the iPhone 5, then the iphone is now registered to 2 icloud accounts?

Sign in on www.icloud.com, choose the find my iPhone icon, locate the phone, choose remote wipe, then remove the device from your account. That will prevent the activation lock from enabling on the person you sold the phone to.

This happens if I upload too many HD photos at once. You are overworking the processor. Just leave your phone off and put it on top of a plastic bag of ice to cool it down. To keep this from happening you have to remove apps from the multitasker by double tapping the home button when the phone is on the home screen or in an app, then hold down on an app, then just press the little red minus signs. This won't delte the app, it just quits them (for example: quitting Skype will not allow you to recieve calls, quitting Facebook will stop you from receiving messages until you reopen the app, quitting the Phone app will not stop you from getting calls or texts though). This will save a great deal of battery.

Ralph..........Did as you suggested and I am still getting the message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". I am not able to connect with anything on the Internet. Frustrating since I am able to connect with my laptop. Thanks for the suggestion.
