My iMessage is saying my password is wrong when It isn't...

its saying my apple ID pass is worng when it isin't.
Why is iMessaing doing this... I have been having a lot of problems with my iPhone 5 and its getting sickeing, I'm thinking of switching to samsung!

Seeing a lot of threads re: imessage being down in the last hour, could be a problem with the Apple server. I would try again later.

I accidentally turned on parental controls, when I try to turn them off it says my password is wrong when I know it's not. What do I do so that I won't have to wipe everything from my computer?

Trying to fix something else in my settings I accidentally turned my parental controls on. When I tried to disable them it said my password or adminstrative name was wrong when I know they are both right. I even tried to change my password to the account but that didn't help. I don't want to have to delete my account and am not sure how to back everything up if that is the only option. Is there a simple solution to this?

If you have Restricted your MAIN account in the perental controls that may be the reason. You may have to create a new Administrators account to change the settings on the parent controls.
Not sure as I have never used that feature on any computer I own.

wont let me sig in at all, keep getting wrong password despite being positive its correct. tried doing password recovery and when i get to the part where u change the password after i type it in both times and hit enter i get error messege telling to contact support. its my work account and recently got over 800 addrequest in the span of an hr last night, a friend has suggested that maybe it was to many people adding me or something. i fear maybe one of the more desperate individuals may have gotten access to it idk. but i really need to login for my work.

Imessage saying my password is wrong when it's right

When i turned my imessage on it asked for my password. I inputed it correctly many times but it always says it's wrong. I know it isn't wrong because i can sign into the account and download things and facetime with the same account and password. How can i fix this?

My iphone 4s says that my aol email password is wrong when it isn't

I have had my Iphone 4s for nearly 2 years. Everything was fine until this afternoon when I tried to access my AOL email and an error message came up saying 'Cannot Get Mail. The username or password for "AOL" is incorrect. I know that it is in fact correct and even though I have deleted the account and added it again it still says the same thing.

Well I went to my mail on my computer and AOL had sent an email saying that I had reset my password which I hadn't so it looks as though it may have been hacked although when I went to change my password and entered a new password it says it was the old password which makes me think it hadn't been reset!
Anyway I changed the password on my iphone and so far so good.
If it does it again I'll let you know.

in mac mail it comes up with a box enter password for account ".mac"
it keeps saying its rejected???? why cause i know its correct?

Go to Keychain access and then delete the entry that is for your .mac account. After that, go back to Mail and try to log in again.

ITunes and App Store saying my password is incorrect when it isn't?

I have never before had an issues with iTunes or the App Store. However, starting yesterday evening, I went to sign into the iTunes Store on my laptop and it told me my password was incorrect. The same problem occured on my iPhone when I went to download a twitter update.
However, I've managed to sign onto the Apple website in order to post this question with no difficulties? Iv'e waited 24 hours now since my password hasn't been working on both my laptop and iPhone and nothing has changed despite changing my password twice?
If anyone could give me a solution or any ideas on how to fix this it would be very much appriciated!

IPhone says my password is incorrect when it isn't

When I go into my settings on my iPhone 6 plus and try to enter my account it asks for my password. It keeps telling me it
is incorrect. I've had to reset my password multiple times, and it still won't recognize it.

Thank you for your reply. The security code has disappeared but even when I enter it back on it still says incorrect information. I've added the card details again and know they are correct so unsure what is going on! Think a trip to Apple is in order tomorrow!

IPhone tells me my exchange password is wrong when it isn't

This is starting to drive me a bit mad.
I have set up the iPhone to do exchange, and despite entering the correct password (I have tested this by logging on to the web version of exchange using the password) I keep being told by the iPhone that the password I am using is wrong.
I have downloaded a digital cert to the iPhone from the companies exchange server website etc.
Driving me mad. Has anyone else experienced this? Could there be another password I'm not aware of?

You are a lifesaver. I've wasted hours in the past two weeks trying to set my Exchange 2007 account up on the iPhone. I've been using a Gmail account to get all work emails, and it was just not very useful. I was so excited about this new software and yet so frustrated with the process. Several things I learned....
Yes, indeed, Ralf is correct, the direction of the slash matters, at least regarding the password. The iPhone does NOT like the forward slash, though you have to go thru TWO menus on the keypad to get to the correct backslash (the ?123 button and then the #+= button).
Another thing - it appears that the iPhone does not like having two email accounts on the phone. I already had my Gmail account set up, and was trying to set up the Exchange account with the Gmail account still active. A better bet is to erase all email accounts and start with the Exchange account. I'm not sure if I'll bother re-setting up the Gmail account for fear that it will mess up the Exchange account, but if any of you are braver than me, let me know how it goes.
Third thing - for whatever reasons, at the bottom of my inbox, there's a line that reads "4294867298 unsent messages." No idea what that means, but I'm pretty sure that I don't have 4 billion emails waiting to be sent out, so I'm hoping this is normal.
Fourth thing - when I synced the iPhone manually thru iTunes (at least when I was using the Gmail account), my Outlook calendar would download into the iPhone, and conveniently take a few entries (about 23) with it into cyberspace. The entries are still on the email server, and they show up in my Active Appointments view in Outlook, but not in the more useful Calendar view. Again, no idea how this happens, but I won't be plugging in the iPhone to my computer anytime soon. Hoping it doesn't do the same thing over ActiveSync.
And finally, keep fighting with your tech guys and reading these posts, b/c it turns out I knew more than they did about how to set this up and the various obstacles we would run into.

Both my iPhone and iPad are throwing up a message saying that my Gmail password is wrong when it isn't! Can someone help me please? I've tried the unlock capchta route but not having any luck. Fingers crossed that someone can help me please. Thanks very much!

Gmail has been having issues with their servers and they are aware of it, I don't believe they've found any solutions. But they have said you can work around it by logging in using Safari.
If you haven't tried logging itno Gmail on Safari, you should do it, just to ensure your password and user name are correct.

Title says it all. My iPod Touch, after the latest update, will not connect to the internet. It keeps saying that the WiFi password is wrong, when it isn't.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

i just opened my ipad, started my apple account/I.D. and realized I put the wrong e mail. I was having trouble correcting my I.D on the Ipad so I went to my laptop and make the proper changes/slash e mail address I wanted for my apple ID. I got back to my ipad and try to download an app I can't because I have to sign in my apple account and I can't because it still has the irrelivant I.D/email address..
So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created.
