My iMessage isn't sending images.

It always happens when I try to send an image to somebody. It says the message wasn't sent, but it's only with images. It starts loading the image to send it but never sends, please help me. Thanks.

  • IMessage unable to send image

I'm trying to send an image by copy and paste from Preview to iMessage.
It always failure. It has exclamation mark on the right side.
By default is in .png format. I tried save it in .jpg format still having an issue.
Has any one know how to fix this?
    Thanks

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data.
    Quit Messages if it’s running.
    Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (either may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.Messages
    Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in. Try Messages again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
    Step 2
If you still have problems, quit Messages again. Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
    Messages
Note: you are not moving the Messages application. You’re moving a folder named “Messages.”
Test. If Messages now works, delete the Messages folder on the Desktop. Otherwise, quit Messages again. Put back the folder you moved, overwriting the newer one that may have been created in its place, and continue.
    Step 3
In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
    com.apple.iChat
    com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
    com.apple.imessage
    com.apple.imservice
Move them all to the Desktop. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash.
Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
Log out and log back in. Test again. This time Messages should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes Messages to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
If the issue is still not resolved, quit Messages again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post again.
If you later decide that you don’t like the results of steps 2 and 3, you can undo them completely by quitting Messages and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup.

  • IMessage isn't sending messages from my iPad or iPhone

I constantly get message send failure on my iPad v1, even though I've used my original apple ID (ie the one linked to itunes rather than my mobileme / icloud account) and it appears to go through and activate / verify correctly. To be clear I've tried to send to to other accounts of friends who have ios5 and iMessage working - it just doesn't work for me.
Incidentally, I'm also having imessage troubles on my 3GS with it too appearing to be setup (as above), but only green mms messages are sent, rather than blueiMessages.
And to cap it all, I can't even get past the iMessage activation section on my ipod 3rd generation!!
    Help would be very welcome
    Thanks

No. Clipboard copied text and elements are not persisted. All that would be there is the last thing copied.

  • IMessage isn't sending my messages

I am using the iPhone 4 with iOS 5. In the beginning, I had a couple problems with the data connection in general after updating my phone. I had to restart the phone each time it happened and then it'd be fine for a few hours / days. These problems occured for about two weeks after updating my phone and then stopped.
Now iMessage stopped sending my messages. I have full connection and everything else (making calls, going online, other messengers) is working. I can receive messages through iMessage as well, it just won't send mine. It says sending and the bar fills up completely, then disappears like it normally would but the little "delivered" note under the message won't show up. My friend has confirmed that she's not getting anything from me although she is getting messages from other friends.
I have restarted my phone, turned iMessage on and off, then turned it off, restarted the phone and then turned it on, all to no avail.
Please, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

  • My iMessage isn't sending/delivering to 1 person?

I have been having this problem for a week now. I can send texts to everyone in my contacts except one person and she can't send anything to me either. It won't deliver or send. I've tried turning the wifi off, logging out, shutting down and simply not using it to see if the problem would fix itself, which it obviously hasn't. Anything else I can try?

Nope, that didn't work Also, the blue bar at the top of the page that goes across the screen when you send a message, it goes about 1/10 of the way and just stops and the message gets the exclaimation mark behind it and says not delivered... But it is just to one person so its confusing me

  • After updating to ios 6.1.3 I cant send images through imessage

    Hello

That’s strange that my description in my first post is not showing up
I have noticed that after I updated my iOS on my iPhone 5 to 6.1.3 the iMessage can no longer send images to other iDevices
Sending regular text works but once an image is attached the message informs me that it has not been delivered and a red exclamation mark appears
I tried to send images from multiple networks
    LTE
    3G
    3 different WiFi networks
    All of these fail
I also reset my device from a backup and reset my network settings with no luck
I really hope that this gets fixed soon because I do use imessage to send photos to my friends that have their own iDevices

  • IMessage problem sending images on Wi-Fi

    Hi,
A couple of weeks ago, after many years working without a glitch, I started experiencing sporadic erros when sending images on iMessage when connected to my home wifi. The problem seems to occurr with our iPhones but not with our iPads, however because the sporadic nature of the problem we just might have not experienced it yet. Nevertheless it happens so often with our iPhones and we've never seen it happen on one f our iPads.
The charaterization of the problem is I try to send an image on iMessage, the progress bar hangs very near the end for an unusually long time, and eventually I get a red exclaim sign with the word Failure next to it. If I switch to 3G (which ***** because it consumes my dataplan), it works fine. I have a DSL ISP and 2 Airport Extremes networked thru a gigabit cable and configured as a Closed (non broadcasting SSID) Roaming Network.
Corrective actions taken so far. I reset one of the iPhones back to factory settings. I've turned off the DSL Modem and both Airports, waited 30 seconds, and then turn everything back on.
    Any ideas?
    Thank You,
    Erasmo.

I have exactly the same problem, I have been search for solution for many month already, so far Apple haven't give any solution to this problem. Still need wait for answer.

  • When using Imessage on my Macbook Pro, It won't let me send images. How Do I fix this?

It used to let me send images on Imessage and they would also appear on my Iphone as I was sending them, now it doesn't work.
    Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/install.log" from the file list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
let it do it's thing and reset.
Then go to Settings > Messages > iMessages > enable
You'll then have to go back to your Wifi and re-enter your router credentials.

  • Iphone won't send image on iMessage says "delivered"

I'm suddenly having this weird issue where i can't send images through imessage. It would say "delivered" on the bottom of the image but none of my friends are able to receive it. Another thing that is acting up is my imessage on my macbook. Whenever i send a message to someone, it would deliver as my email, not my number where it used to be. I resetted a whole bunch of stuff, made sure all my settings are correct including the option where it being sent to is my phone number.
Anyone has a solution for this? this just suddenly happen a couple of days ago. The imessage sync between my phone and my mac used to work perfectly fine.
Thanks and I appreciate whoever can help.

He needs to unregister iMessage on his old iPhone if he still has it.   If not, he'll have to call Apple to have them disassociate his # with iMessage.
While that's a possible root cause, the fact that he has no issues with other iPhone users suggests that it's something else at hand.
I would check the setting I mentioned, but also try the steps pdroth mentioned if that doesn't resolve it.

I have no idea what the "freezer fix" is, nor why anyone would think temporary exposure to cold will somehow fix a hardware issue with a 100% solid state device.  Also, actually freezing your iPhone may very well itself cause damage.
If you dropped it and wifi immediately failed to work, the odds are you inflicted physical damage to it - perhaps the antennae connection internally.  You could try a simple reset and see if that helps, but if not, you need to take it into Apple for an evaluation and diagnosis.
If it has internal damage, since you dropped it, your warranty no longer applies.  Apple does not repair iOS devices, the merely swap them for factory refurbished units (and send your damaged one back to the manufacturer in China for refurbishment or recycling).  You would ahve to pay the out of warranty replacement fee (look on your country's Apple web site, under support for the iPhone for fees).

  • Cant send image/video through iMessage but txt works

I have an iPhone 4S and can not send images or video to other 4S devices or iPods.
They can send to me, but not me to them.
I can initiate and recieve facetime and txt. But any images or video I get "Not Delivered".
I can seem to send to iPhone 5's, 4's and iPads.
I have tried everything I have found in blogs including a full restore.
    Same problem.
    Running latest software 6.1.3
    Any thoughts?
