Associate your mobile number with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so:
Apple - My Apple ID
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
Sign out on the iPhone
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage.
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions. See:

MacBook Pro won't sync with iCloud, although iPhone and iPad are fine.

Your signature says you have 10.3.x but presumably this can't be correct - could you please make sure it's correct to prevent confusion. 10.7.2 is required for iCloud - your Mac won't be able to sync with pre-Lion systems.
The fact that you have iCloud accounts showing does suggest you have Lion: are they showing in System Preferences>iCloud, or where? You can only enter one there.
Are the two different or the same? You could try deleting both and then starting the setup again from scratch.

All of the sudden, emails from an existing contact go to junk mail on my iphone and ipad (which you can't label as "not junk" and do not show up anywhere on my iMac. What is going on?

I just recently got an ipad Air and some odd things are happening. I use Entourage on my iMac OS 10.6.8, and my iphone and ipad are getting emails into the junk folder and the email doesn't show up anywhere on my iMac. You can't label an email "not junk" on the iphone or ipad, so what do I do? So frustrated.

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone.

It seems that in Messages Beta you could create a "Start Date" if all old messages were removed from the iOS devices.
It seems no different in Messages. (I used this Method during the Beta period)
Others have reported that turning the Phone Off and On again also creates a "Start Point"
(The two methods are mutually exclusive if you do the above first).

Some movies I've bought from ITunes on my IMac didn't transfer to my IPhone and IPad

I've bought several movies on ITunes store with the same user and when I Sync my PC with my IPhone and IPad some movies didn't transfer to my devices. Y have checked if my devices has space or if i select the specific movies to be transfer

i have movies purchased from iTunes and movies converted from youtube and movies converted from other sources. i managed to get somemusic ripped youtube video movies downloaded. but now when i try to change the selection and include other movies including the ones purchased. nothing happens. i select them from the movie list then sync. the update and sync starts then it checks the apps purchased, then it just stops. no errors and no update of movies. it still has the movies i downloaded from months ago. i cant seem to change them at all. even when i select remove all movies. they remain there.
im confused.

I'm using mac pro from 2007 and i want to replace it for a new one.
everytime i bought a mac product, 2-3 months after a newer came out (it was like that with my macbook pro, iPhone 1,3,3gs,4s, iPad2).
I guess all i want is to know if apple will ever put out a new mac pro?
is it still apple's flagship?
I don't want to buy mac pro as it is because a lot of new technology is missing, like usb 3, thunderbolt, HDMI ect.
I thing apple didn't came out with new mac pro from 2009.

There was no new model, it was just a change in default processor from 2.8 to 3.2GHz, that was all, and it is otherwise totally the same, still runs 10.6.8 if needed too.
The need for TB is miniscule on a workstation. There are some attempts to get storage arrays but then you already can add SAS/SATA, and you can install higher end graphic video like GTX 670 if needed. More video processing than any TB - which is a nice product, just more aimed it seems toward notebook users and such.
And there are the constant where is TB threads.
Intel is even reconsidering their Xeon roadmap due to when they can have new models, DDR4 around the corner.
If there is a desire that is needed it is probably SATA 3.1 if anything.

How do I get the default Photostream on my MacBook Pro to match the Photostream on my iPhone and iPad?

Essentially, I am having issues getting photos that I save on my iPhone or iPad to automatically appear on my MacBook's iPhoto app (and vice versa). The iPad and iPhone automatically share all photos between each other. I have iCloud set up and all of the photo sharing options selected on all devices, so that's not the issue. I used a bit of a workaround and created and shared a custom stream, which ultimately works. However, it involves a lot of moving photos around on all three devices, so I'd like to get the Photostream service working the way it's intended by getting the default Photostream connected to my iCloud account automatically syncing among all three devices.

Photos are kept in the My Photo Stream for 30 days or until more than 1000 have been added. The photos will remain in the MPS for longer than 30 days if the 1000 limit is not reached.
However, depending on when a device joined the iCloud feature and started receiving the MPS it will not see any that were added more than 30 days from the date of joining. So if your MBP signed into iCloud and the MPS feature later than the other 2 devices it will not see photos that they might. Also if you've turned off My Photo Stream on the MPB and then added it back it will only see the last 30 days worth.

It's a challenge when syncing a device for the first time to go through all the apps and apply them back to the same folders as on your other iphone.
I've seen suggestions of taking pictures of the correct layout, then manually applying it to the new device. Big time waister.

I'm afraid there is no short workaround. One thing that you could do if you were REALLY desperate is reset your device to factory settings and then restore it from your other device's backup, but that is rather risky and you probably don't want to take your chances just for folder layouts. I would just do it manually.

Uncheck your phone number on the computer, then exit messages and re-open.
Uncheck everything except your phone number on your phone, restart the phone.

A brand new Mac Pro doesn't wake up from sleep

I got a new Mac Pro.
It has an external SATA controller and a video card with NVIDIA Quadro 4000 chipset on it.
It has a Snow Leopard installed.
The problem it has is that it doesn't wake up once it goes to sleep, either by choosing "Sleep" menu item or by using "Energy Saving" setting.
I notice some people mention a keyboard doesn't respond while his trackpad does. In my case, nothing works.
I don't know if it is due to keyboard or a magic mouse. I tried to connect another wired mouse to the enclosure of the Mac Pro directly, but it did't cause Mac Pro wake up.
By searching on Google, many people seem to have this problem, whether they have Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, and so on.
Personally, I have a 17" PPC iMac, 13" MacBook with Core Duo 2, and have used MacBook Pro 17", but they didn't have this problem.
I tried to reset the SMC, but it didn't help.
Do anyone know what cause this problem and how to solve it?
Is there any patch for this?

Does it sound like it's waking up but the monitor just doesn't display anything?
I ask because if so, I'm experiencing the same problem. I have a Quad-Core Mac Pro (no external devices) and if it goes to sleep I have difficulty getting it to display anything on the monitor after waking it up. Now, I just recently hooked up an additional monitor (VGA) for dual display, and the funny thing is, that monitor will wake, but my main monitor won't.
Sometimes I get this error after boot-up too, where the computer will get to the login screen, but my main monitor is receiving no signal ("at least according to my monitor").
If that's the same issue, then I'll post any success I find for you!

Mac pro doesn't recognize administrator password on login, I am using Yosemite and I was using erlier and didint let me log back in password was correct at all times tries to reset password with apple id and still not working. Try disk utilities with terminal and disk is not available, when I updated from maverick to yosemite I didin't set up a disc recovery.

There is no need to do anything to set up Recovery. It should have been created and updated automatically on your Boot Drive when you upgraded to Yosemite.

Why are my iMessages sent from iOS (6.0) and OSX (10.8.2) being received in two different dialog boxes?

I'm trying to unify my iMessages sent from my iPhone 4S and my rMBP. iMessages I send from my iPhone to my friend's iPhone is in one window, and if I send another from messages on my rMBP it is sent to a different contact box on my friend's phone.
Is there any way to fix this, I've been trying different combinations of caller id settings on both and I'm so confused.

..I just find it strange that Oracle doesn't cache these blocks for me by replacing some of the aged blocks in the cache.
Flushing the buffer_cache seems to have the desired effect, as it does then get cached.

2008 and previous used ATA/IDE DVD Readers.
2009 and later used SATA DVD Readers.
You cannot cross the line without changing the cabling, which may be more expensive that just replacing the drive with a new one.
You both should be sure to update to 10.6.8 if you have not already done so, to provide enhanced malware protection. If you cannot do that, turn off JAVA (not javascript) in all your Browsers.

Trying to upload DSCF.JPG images from my Mac Pro to Photostream in iPhoto

I am trying to upload the DSCF.JPG images from my Mac Pro (originally taken on my Fuji Finepix camera) to Photostream in iPhoto.
I then want these images to load onto my iPhone 5 through iCloud.
I have tried dragging the images over from a desktop folder to my Photostream folder in iPhoto – no good. They just won't copy over.
I have dragged the images over from a desktop folder into a new folder in iPhoto – that worked, but I can't then get them transferred or copied over to the iCloud folder.
Is it the DSCF format that my Photostream doesn't like? Why would that be?
And does anybody know what I can do about it?

On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV, your Photo Stream photos are delivered in a device-optimized resolution that speeds downloads and saves storage space. While actual dimensions will vary, an optimized version of a photo taken by a standard point-and-shoot camera will have a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution when pushed to your devices. Panoramic photos can be up to 5400 pixels wide.
If the Preview application can open your photos, you may be able to export them to a more compatible format.

The process is the same for more recent versions of Preview.
Open a file in Preview, and choose File > Export.
