My imessages wont activate its saying my password is incorrect when it isnt

I turned off my imessages then turned it back on and it wont activate now its saying my password was wrong. So i reset it and i still wont sign in its still saying incorrect password??? Please help

i am having SAME problem,,,,as are seveal of my friends, I backed up,restored.nothing...i also tried to use my apple id and it told me it was the wrong email adress...very frustrating! i also tried changing the setting before i restored my iphone,,,,nothing! grrr

    I had the same problem. I reset my network settings as iOS 8 on my iPad 3 seemed a bit slow. When I tried to reconnect to the wifi the correct password was not accepted immediately.
    after retrying several times it did manage to join the network. The only observation I had was that I had a weak signal and an iPhone next to me at the time.
    make sure you are close to the wifi signal away from any other wifi devices.

    I assume you are trying to update Flash Player on a Mac machine. If so, please use your Mac system ID and password and not the Apple ID (used for purchases on Apple Store) or any Adobe related ID.

    Make sure you enter your Apple Store account with the correct CaSe on both username and password on the AppleTV.     Make sure your AppleTV is in fact connected to the internet.

    If you kept the same Base Station name and network name, that can confuse Keychain Access. Either change the Base Station and network name, or open Keychain Access Utility and delete any reference to your Base Station and network name. Make sure you delete from the Login and System keychains.

I type this in and it keeps asking for it over and over again. After around 5 times it then tells me that my password is incorrect even though I know that it is correct. How do i fix this??

    If you have Restricted your MAIN account in the perental controls that may be the reason. You may have to create a new Administrators account to change the settings on the parent controls.
    Not sure as I have never used that feature on any computer I own.

    I have never before had an issues with iTunes or the App Store. However, starting yesterday evening, I went to sign into the iTunes Store on my laptop and it told me my password was incorrect. The same problem occured on my iPhone when I went to download a twitter update.
    However, I've managed to sign onto the Apple website in order to post this question with no difficulties? Iv'e waited 24 hours now since my password hasn't been working on both my laptop and iPhone and nothing has changed despite changing my password twice?
    If anyone could give me a solution or any ideas on how to fix this it would be very much appriciated!

    So my phone is on iOS 6.1.4. I don't want to update it because I don't like iOS 7 at all. Just how I view it, anyways. So please don't say restore or updating your software will fix the problem, because I'm pretty sure there are workarounds.
    However, on Monday I installed an app called Hotspot Shield VPN and it installed some profiles that made some changes to my settings app (probably the Wi-Fi). After trying it out for a couple of hours, I realized I didn't have much need for it than I thought I would, so I removed the profile and the app altogether hoping everything would be fine.
    After doing this, my phone would not sync with iTunes, and kept giving me the error "iTunes can't connect to this device because an error occured". That's it - no numbers or anything telling me what the error is. However, after some time I realized that the whole sync process was fine until it came to Step 6 - Downloading Safari Safe Data. As soon as it hits here, it brings up that error line.
    After looking online for that solution on the forums, I was told to reset my network settings. So I did, and it caused an even bigger problem - now I can't connect my phone to any Wi-Fi network! Even though the password is correct, it still says "Incorrect Password". So resetting my network settings does not help me anymore and I don't know what will.
    It all started because of Hotspot Shield VPN, and I know it must have made some changes to my Wi-Fi settings on my phone which is causing it to stop connecting. It's also stopping iTunes since it can't download and safari data.
    Last Quick Things: Yes, Fraud Warning is off in Safari Settings and there are currently no profiles installed on my phone.

    Resetting Network Settings means that the saved password that enabled your iPhone to connect to your WiFi router was erased. You are now reentering that password. Most likely you are entering the password incorrectly or are entering an old password or the wrong password.
    Check that the password that you are using is absolutely, positively, the correct and current password for your router. Make sure that you are not confused l with 1, O with 0, etc.

    I was able to connect to wifi at both school and home on my ipad 5.  However, now I am not able to connect to the wifi at home as the ipad states I am putting in the wrong password.

    If you reset all settings, that should "forget the network" for you. But when you say that you already tried resetting the settings, were you able to reset them? In other words, were all of the settings reset when you tried it?

    Thank you for your reply. The security code has disappeared but even when I enter it back on it still says incorrect information. I've added the card details again and know they are correct so unsure what is going on! Think a trip to Apple is in order tomorrow!

Ive created an account, my password is correct, ive enabled the account, however when I change my status to online and it tells me my username or password is incorrect (which they are not.) Then when i try and send a message it tells me to log in, brings me to the account wizard which shows im already logged in! this is stressing me out please help!

    One thing to check. Have you tried logging out and then in?
