My "Inbox" screen on email is not longer accessible

I'm not sure what I did. But, my email only displays the first open email in my box. It doesn't show the inbox screen. I can't back up......and the only choices I have are the refresh, move to a folder, trash, reply, and write new email .......
I can't back up, or do anything to get back to the inbox.......quite frustrating.
Any help is appreciated.

Well, the back buttons are on the top portion of the screen. If you are looking at a mail message, there should be an arrow at the top left of the screen that should be labeled "Inbox". If that is not there, then you need to try and first power the phone off/on. If that does not fix it, the next step is a reset which is accomplished by holding the power and home buttons down together until you see the Apple logo and then releasing them, ignoring the slide to power off screen. See if that helps. If not, then you may have to either try and delete the mail account and recreate it, or do a restore on the phone.

What do you do when your rescue email is no longer accessible?

How do I reset my password and my security questions - if the apple system insists on sending all messages to a rescue email address that is no longer accessible and won't let me change the rescue address?

If you don't have access to your current rescue email address (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from update your rescue email address for potential future use

I am trying to change some settings in my Apple and I do not remember my security question answers. When I click on sent a reset email, an old email address (no longer accessible ) comes up. This email address is nowhere in my profile. Ideas??

I created this new account so that I could post on the forums here.
My old account is registered with a @netscape.net email (netscape died a LONG time ago, they transfered to AOL, but AOL has discontinued that service), and I forgot my password, so I have no way of getting to the email to change my password. I have paid for a premium account in the past, so could I possibly use the credit card I used as a verification for changing my account to a new email and password? I really don't want to have to create a new account and start from scratch with my contacts....

i'm trying to purchase itunes match since i have loaded the new itunes on my mac. i have been asked for security questions which i dont have the answers to. my rescue email address is no longer valid and i dont have access to it. PLEASE HELP! how do i reset my security email?

Purchase Order email is not triggering

Dear Sir,
We have done all configuration step related to sending of external email for Purchase Order . But email is not triggering . We have also tested the SAPConnect , by sending a test mail using tcode SBWP and it is working ok .
After saving of PO (using ME22n) , We are getting following screen , but email is not triggering (in tcode SOST , we find no send request generated). We have maintained email id in XK02 for the Vendor also .
The configuration maintained is detailed in the attached file .
We request forum members to kindly help us for the problem resolution please.

Now Email is getting triggered only if the Program-Name mentioned is Std one i.e "SAPFM06P" . But We change it to our customized one "ZSAPFM06P" then Email is not triggering .

Inbox Screen Showing New Email But No Email

My inbox screen on my homepage is showing that I have a new message but there are no emails in my box. I've synced my phone several times to see if that would make it disappear, but it doesn't. I've also reset my network settings and that didn't fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Go to settings/mail/the offending mail account/and change your "mail days to sync" to No Limit. Then go into your email box to let it start downloading all emails until it finds the mail item that it thinks is unread. This download process will update your phone so that it realizes that the email it thought was unread is actually read. Then go back and change your mail days to sync back to its original setting. The reason it wouldn't update this on its own is because the mail item is older than the "mail days to sync" so your phone is not updating the status of those mail items.

The only way to make the inbox on the iphone back to 0 is to delete the account then re install it.
