My index page is not redirecting. I see index of / with redirect links

I am using A Small Orange and publishing directly from iWeb to a Small Orange. How can I resolve this issue? I am an absolute beginner so please assume I know nothing about creating a website! Thank you.

It looks as if you have not uploaded your site to the root folder on your server?
What file there did you upload to? If you upload your whole site folder to your server, then you also need to upload the separate index file that iWeb produces on publishing and this needs to sit outside your site folder to point into the index file that is in the site folder.
What is probably best to do is to go into iWeb and select publish to a local folder and then your site folder and separate index file will be published to your desktop. Then download Cyberduck, which is a free and dedicated ftp client that you can use to upload your site to your server.
Open Cyberduck and connect to your server and you will then be able to see exactly where you are uploading to and what folder on your server you need to upload to.
Once you can see this, upload your site folder and then upload the separate index file, but it needs to sit outside your site folder pointing in towards it.

Sorry to respond that your post is vague.
Did you do a reset to factory? It takes a day or a few days for a BB10 device to finish sync'ing and indexing and so forth after a wipe or an OS reinstall or upgrade. If performance is subpar, give it another day to see if it improves.
On the last, I may not understand. I believe you are saying you are connecting to the device with Link and the computer mounts the microSD card as a drive but not the device's onboard memory. Do you have mass storage mode enabled? If so, disable mass storage mode and try again.

Page group deletion failed, and now it posts with no links

A page group needed to be deleted because the template it was based on is corrupted. Now the page group shows with no links at all. It can't be viewed, edited, NOTHING!. How can I get that page group truly deleted, even if it is manually, so that I can proceed to a clean import of a backed up page group before the template was messed up?
The list of error messages from the delete procedure were:

This looks like Bug 2034579, which is an internal bug but basically documents the same thing. I've tried to reproduce this in 9.0.2.2 and it doesn't.
Please raise a service request with Oracle Support who should be able to assist you with the correct course of action.

Users with a https home page are not redirected when using web-passthrough on WLC 5508

I have a Cisco 5508 running version 7.0.116.0. This controller hosts an open public wifi that requires users to accept a terms agreement via a Web-Passthrough setup that redirects them to the terms splash page. For most people this works without any issue. However, if a user has their homepage for their default browser set to a https site, such as https://www.google.com, then they are never redirected to the terms splash page. The page will just spin and spin until finally they get a timeout error.
Has anyone else had this experience? If so did you find a solution or is this some sort of short coming of the controller?

Symptom:A client whose home page is an HTTPS (HTTP over SSL, port 443) one will never
be redirected by Web Auth to the web authentication dialog. Therefore, such
a client will not know to authenticate, and will fail to connect to the
network.
Workaround:The client should attempt to open any HTTP (port 80) web page.

CWA page does not redirect

I am having strange issue.
I have configured a wlan with Mac Filtering that is pointing to ISE. Followed this guide https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-26442
Now, when user tries to connect to the wlan, it gets stuck in DHCP_REQD state. On troubleshooting I found that the ISE authenticates with Wireless MAB policy and points to the authorization profile where CWA redirect is configured. The WLC receives the redirect acl with redirect url but does not apply it on the client.
On ISE:
On WLC:
the ACL "tempcwa" allows traffic to and from ISE, DNS, DHCP, but I am not able to get IP. Even when I try manual IP address, I am not able to ping ISE. I am sure ACL is all ok! My DHCP works perfect for other WLANs with WLC webauth settings in the same subnet as CWA.
I am using AIR-CT5760, 03.02.02.SE, ct5760-ipservicesk9 and ISE 1.2 VM

If I remove the ACL then how the traffic destined to ISE will be allowed? The interesting part is, I am getting hits on the redirect ACL but client can not receive IP address.
DHCP is working fine and if I assign manual IP then DHCP is not the matter.
If Redirect ACL and ISE page is forwarded to WLC from ISE then why this is not working for clients??
Moreover, I noticed that even DACL is not being pushed to wireless clients from other authorization profiles. The traffic gets Permit_access but DACL does not restrict..
I think these two issues are interlinked..
Please suggest..

After dwnloading the beta version and I log into Smartzone a window says that This Page Is Not Redirecting Properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I have a Dell Inspiron, am using Windows 7.
This does not happen with my Gmail account
It does happen with Internet Explorer

The problem continues.
If I open a New Window, the usual comcast.net screen appears and shows that I AM signed into SmartZone. That's fine but I do not want to have to go through this every time I open Mozilla Firefox. I didn't have this problem before I downloaded the Firefox version 4 Beta. Now going back to the older version of Mozilla Firefox, it happens there too!

The opened web pages are not correct even though the address in the link roperty is correct. The web page opens a blank page and says "Done"

When I search for a web sites, it gives a list of connected web site.
If I click a particular web site, it immediately opens a blank page and says"done" at the bottom of the page. The opened web address is wrong even though the link property shows the correct address.
What is wrong?

Publish your site to a local folder and launch it in your browser by double clicking the index.html file to see if the problem exists there.

With Firefox as my default browser, links in E-mails or E-mail web pages will not open. When IE is default browser, links open fine, SUP???

Not able to see photos edited with photoshop

Is there an issue with editing a photo with photoshop that has been imported into iphoto and then being able to see the "saved as" version in iPhoto?
I have done just this: right-click the thumbnail in iphoto/select "show file"/open with/Photoshop, edit the photo and save as the same file name + ".1" in the same location as the original file, looking in iPhoto the new "saved as" version does not display.
If I try to import the photo, it is difficult to access the directory where iPhoto stores the files--I did eventually figure out how to do it, and when I did, the import failed, the dialogue box saying that it could not import because the file was already in the iPhoto library.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Here's another description on how to use Photoshop with iPhoto:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 6 the Saving File preferences should be configured: "On First Save: Save Over Current File". Also I suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds

The page cannot be displayed while running the report with web link

Hello,
I tried to run the report using a web link similar:
http://hostname/reports/rwservlet?report=WRFTCKL.rdf&userid=use/pass@datbase&desformat=pdf&destype=CACHE&paramform=yes
I am able to see the parameter form, but after I entered some parameter and submit, I got an error as:
The page cannot be displayed.
But if I run it with the paramform=no and attached the parameter/value pair at the end of the link, the report will show on the web.
Anyone knows what is wrong?

The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account. If you aren't getting the link then you don't have a rescue email address, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Why some pages are not available offline in Safari reading list?

From time to time I experience surprises that some web pages are not available offline in reading list of Safari - link is stored, but content - no.
I was thinking that I was closing Safari too fast before pages downloaded.
But I rechecked - I gave safari enough time and it still not downloaded.
When internet connection is available pages are readable, but not in offline.
And related to issue:
Should I open Safari to allow to download page, when I add page to reading list from other applications by selecting "Add to reading list"?

YEs, it's totally frustrating... I'll never again just go along with an upgrade. After upgrading to IOS8 the reading list feature no longer works.
I even tried the factory reset, clearing out everything and making my iPad 2 like it was originally. And I didn't restore from backup either, afraid whatever bug it is would come back. I even installed iCab Mobile, and Readability... nothing works!
I Really, really, regret upgrading. I want my fully functioning IOS7 back!!
IS there any way to get IOS7 back, 'coz this IOS8 is for the birds?!
