My info typed into notes disappear after a while and I can't retrieve rhem

Yeah, probably some keyboard buffer issue. I've seen this in the past. usualyl depends on some operating system setting and many times wil leventualyl disappear afer some updates. Simply restart the app when ever it begins occuring...

Can't see info typed into fillable pdf: See Below

I created pdf forms using adobe forms central.
)    I have the pdf I created using FormsCentral on my desktop
)    I do a file save as pdf, so I can change the name of the document while still saving my blank original pdf document.
)    I write into my fillable saved as pdf doc and then email it to a coworker. The file size at this point is around 67 KB
)    This coworker opens up file and does a save as so they can rename it and save it to their desktop.
)    This coworker than adds information to the document by tying into the fillable pdf doc.
)    They email the document back to me
)    When I receive the document it is now 1 MB, Also I can only see what I wrote into the doc before I emailed it to her. However if I print the document everything she typed in shows up on the printed document. Or If I click in each field that you can type in the words or numbers she typed in show up but only in the field I’m clicking my mouse in
)    My question is would you say this is a user issue or an issue with the form itself, perhaps a bug.

Hey George, I emailed you the pdf docs. One using Windows Reader and One using Adobe Reader. It does appear that the fillable pdf docs do not work very well with windows reader. Windows Reader makes the file size much bigger and doesn't let people who don't use windows view info put into the file unless you print the doc or click in each space to view whats written. It does appear that the drop down menus and check boxes work in both adobe reader and windows reader.

Problem with info typed into third party apps

I could use some help here. Downloaded Tap Note for Touchpad. All lists entered into the app have disappeared. Assumed it was with that particular app. Downloaded Shop Easy Lists....same thing! Everything I entered has disappeared. Takes a day or two to happen.
Can someone please tell me what's going on. I am getting tired of re-typing all this info all the time.

As Steve said, we've got a fix that we're testing now. It will be in the OTA, but for now, to avoid the issue, don't delete any apps. I think app update is safe, since that doesn't trigger the "delete database" logic.

Can I link two acrobat 9 forms together so that info typed into one is auto populated into the next?

I have multiple forms that are being created. In some cases I require both forms submitted. Both forms have the same information in the top portion. Is it possible to link the form fields so that once populated it auto populates the corresponding fields in the other form? I can't combine the two forms into one because management thinks that's confusing. Any help is appreciated.

It's really less of an Acrobat vs. Reader issue than it is the security restrictions that are the default. For example, the "global" object that can be accessed via JavaScript can be used for this, but the user has to allow for it by setting a preference. Other security restrictions can be bypassed if the user installs a custom folder-level JavaScript file.

Interactively changing values to table problem: indicator and control table, and why it does not work after a while...?

I have been producing a VI that loads a set of data and displays it in a table: A table control is initialised with an empty variable, the loaded data takes the place of the variable and fills the table, while some headers are added. That table feeds an intensity graph to give a pictorial impression of the data.
With this scheme, a user can change any value of the table, and the changes are interactively reflected on the graph.
Problem: after few saving of the VI, the access to the table doesn't work anymore. It is the same with all my numerical controls in the VI where it should be possible to enter a value.
If anybody has an idea on the potential
causes of these problem, I would be really grateful as it is very useful...when it works !

Win 2102: existing number of virtual desktops is not valid after errors while deleting , how to fix it ?

Hello everyone,
I created a virtual desktop collection with a name format like this , prefix = VDI-, suffix= 1 .
so when I created the first VMs , I had VDI-1 and VDI-2 , later after recreating the VMs, adding new ones and deleting others, the suffix numbers are no longer in sequence , like I started having VDI-1,VDI-2,VDI-8,VDI-9.
I realized I had one problem that probably caused this, because when I delete a VM , I get a warning message:
"RD connection broker could not delete the computer account object from active directory."
so I searched about that error and I added the needed permissions and now deleting seems to work without any warning.
now I have two VMs, when I go through the wizard , the first page it shows I have 2 VMs but in the second page it shows I have 11 ! is there a way to reset the count ? if I delete the entire collection and create it again , will I have any problem with the
roaming users profiles ?

You can specify the count for RDVH as how many desktop wants for particular host. You can do this “Specify Virtual Desktop allocation” while creating virtual desktop collection. Other than that you can also use PowerShell command to achieve your task.

LInksys E1200 Wireless router is not responding after a while

Hi there, I have E1200 wireless router and it was working nicely for the whole last year with 2 mac laptops hooked up on it. About 2 months ago there were 1 mac,1 win laptop and a network printer. And again, it was working just fine at the beginning. I'm not sure when exactly it happened first, but now after working couple of hours internet gets off and router stops responding. If I try to reconnect to it from my laptop I just see an error message saying something about "Connection timeout". Also I don't know does it have something to do with the network printer, btw it's connected to the router via ethernet cable not wireless. Anyway, the only solution I've found so far is power off the router for a couple of secs and power it on again, which is obviously not a solution at all, it's annoying and not practical. The time it works fine before it dies is also not fixed, it might be even 10 hrs of working and sometimes only 1-2 hrs. My other suspicion is firmware. I upgraded it almost at the same time when new laptop and printer showed up. Maybe I have to downgrade it, but I couldn't find older version of it. It was HW v. 1, SW v.1.0.00, and now it's HW v.1, SW v.1.0.03. I'd highly appreciate if someone could help me out or at least show me direction where to dig in. Thanks.

It seems that router is intermittent. I suggest you observe your internet connection without the router which means connecting the computer to the modem (if you can) to isolate if your modem's internet connectivity is okay or stable. Upgrading the firmware to the latest is actually okay. Try to reset your router back to factory defaults by pressing its reset button found at the bottom for 10 seconds. When you do reset by the way, it will delete all the current settings that you have especially for the wireless. But you can take note of them before you reset the router. After the reset, you have to get the internet up and running again. You may refer to the links below on how to get it up and running again for wired and wireless internet.

Cluster does not work after a while

          I have 2 clustered EJB server, the IP address is 192.168.0.226 and
          192.168.0.227.
          A servlet server is calling these two EJB servers with
          t3://192.168.0.226,192.168.0.227:7001
          All three machine use weblogic 5.1 sp9, Win2K Advanced Server.
          If I restart weblogic service, then the cluster works fine. but after while
          the cluster does not work, all the client request goto only one machine, in
          most case it's 227.
          It has no use even if I restart the service in the losted server. I have to
          restart all the server.

Are you running with any proxy? Is the servlet server also the static httpd
          server?
          What type of network equipment are you using? If its high-end (Cisco) make sure
          all ports are set to 100/Full.
          Also, try setting the SendDelay slightly higher (ie. 25, 30, 35). Experiment
          with different values.

Windows not genuine, after a while.

Hi,
We are a local pc repair service, and after we reinstall Windows 7 (or Vista, not XP) Windows Activates just fine (trough OEM License, that did come with that PC or notebook)
But after a month or so, Windows will start up and says: This copy of Windows is not genuine.
So we have to reactivate.
Anyway to prevent this from happening?

Hi have had this computer with windows seven for 4 years now and it just now is telling me that I may not have a genuine system. I suspected the problem since I could not download an update from about 3 months ago. Then about 4 weeks ago my system said

External FireWire HD not accessible after a while

I have an external hard disk connected over Firewire to my eMac. During the last year I had no troubles until now.
I can reproduce the error the following way.
1. I start my eMac and login
2. I can open files on my external drive
3. I do not use my eMac for several minutes (15min at least)- the drive seems to be suspended
4. I try to browse through the external file system using the Finder and I see the spinning wheel-Busy
5. I cannot unmount the disk over terminal and I cannot rund Disk Util
6. I shut down the external disk and get an error message in Finder
7. I turn on the external disk und run Disk Util, which cannot find any error
What I tried to localize the error?
+ ran Disk Util-no errors detected
+ changed Firewire Cable- same error
+ run same test with USB- everything seems to be fine
Is my Hard disk controller defect? Is my firewire bus defect? Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if I can help with this or not but here goes.
I had a very similar problem with an external drive a while ago, but this was connected via USB 2.0. What used to happen was that after a period of Mac inactivity the drive would spin itself down (presumably because of my Mac Energy Saver settings). When I then started up an application that tried to access files stored on the external drive the application would just stall and I used to get the 'spinning beach ball'. The drive would never wake up. I couldn't unmount it and the only way I could get it reconnected was to restart the Mac. It was very frustrating.
In the end I checked the disk vendor's Web site for a firmware upgrade. There was a firmware upgrade available so as a last resort I installed it and it fixed the sleep/wake problem with the drive.
If you want to check if your drive is spinning itself down and never waking up there is an option in the System Preferences Energy Saver settings to control whether or not the Mac allows disks to go to sleep. As an experiment you might want to temporarily turn this option off and see if you can use your drive ok. Don't leave it turned off forever though as its quite a useful feature to save energy and perhaps prolong the life of the disk.
It might be worth checking the support section of your disk vendor's Web site to see if there are any firmware upgrades that are supposed to specifically fix the issue you are having. If you are going to install an upgrade make sure you back up first!

8.1SP2 Webserver does not respond after a while

Hello,
I've had this happen several times. Nothing in the logs shows anything
strange. It logs the HTTP requests coming in, but does not return a
response.
The process is still running, and the applications can connect to the
port, but they hang on waiting for a response.
My setup:
Redhat Linux 9 w/ Weblogic Server 8.1 SP2
I'm trying to connect to the /console app, but have also tried to access
the / directory to make sure it wasn't just the console that was hung.

Keyboard is not working after a while

After I've let my Mac sit idle for a while, the keyboard stops responding. I Have to unplug it from the USB and plug it back in to work. This happens a lot. What can I do?

In addition to Barbara's suggestions you could also try plugging another USB keyboard in and see if it repeats. At least you may know if its the port or the keyboard.
If you have other external devices in addition to the keyboard plugged in, try removing them and see if that makes any difference.
If neither of the above work you could also try the following:
PRAM Reset (Random Access Memory)
1) Shut down the computer.
2) Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3) Turn on the computer.
4) Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5) Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6) Release the keys.
or a SMC (System Management Controller) reset
1) Shut down the computer.
2) Unplug the computer's power cord.
3) Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
4) Release the power button.
5) Attach the computers power cable.
6) Press the power button to turn on the computer.

My DP G4 turns into an SP after a while

After my machine has been up fo a while, performance starts to degrade. When I check Activity Monitor.app, it only shows activity on one CPU, although it still has window for both.

You're in denial. Take it to the shop. It definitely sounds more and more like a hardware problem and failing CPU. If the computer is still in warranty don't linger until the warranty has expired.

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! No data connectivity after a while, weird errors

I am using T-Mobile's regular prepaid web plan and Wi-Fi just fine, no need for BIS, Rich Email, or BBM (SMS and MMS is just fine). All I ever use are apps that SPECIFICALLY state that they work over standard TCP/IP and Wi-Fi. The problem is, after some time, the apps that one worked over regular data connections and MMS don't connect anymore. Even though the apps said that no BIS is needed, they can't access data. Even RIM's own Facebook app, which claims to work over Wi-Fi (and does) loses data connectivity after a day or so without a full reboot. The only thing that works is the BlackBerry Browser, which still connects to the internet. Along with the apps failing to work, MMS messages also can't be sent.
Rebooting the phone by a battery pull or alt-shift-delete allows the apps and MMS to work, which after a day (sometimes even shorter) stops working again.
Here's what I've done so far:
- Checked and made sure that all permissions for data access
- Checked that my APN settings are correct: epc.tmobile.com
- Checked my Wi-Fi router for connectivity
- Called T-Mobile tech support for help, wiped my phone upon their instruction
- Reinstalled my apps and contacts, T-Mobile sent me new service books
Still the SAME THING with apps and MMS not working after a while. I've narrowed it down to entries in the event log that show up as this, which shows up seconds before my apps and MMS stop working:
