My info window is stuck to my history window. I can not unstick them,
and when I close one window Both close
and when I open one (info or history) BOTH open stuck together.
It is extremely annoying when you loose control of your software.

Thank you VERY much.
Your definition "docked" led me to the answer.
I would NOT want to try resetting things to the way they were when I installed CS6 because that would probably undo ALL my settings.
However searching for "undock" on photoshop help page gave me the simple solution (click on the title of the panel and drag it away), so easy but impossible to figure out if you never did it before.
I find it a bit sad that it is far too easy to make annoying changes to the way software behaves, leaving the user to pull hair while trying to figure out what was done and undo it.

Windows 8 can not connect RemoteApp (W2K12 RDS), but Windows 7 can connect. Why?
External and internal DNS name is different, the public Cert is mapped to RD Web Access and a RD GateWay Role.
The internal cert (issued by enterprise ca) is mapped to RD Connection Broker roles (SSO and Publishing).
These certifications also be installed on client computers (Personal and Trusted Root Certification Authorities).
The internal CA revocation list is publicated to a website and this web site is accessible from internet. Ports (3389,3391,443) forwarded to RDS server.
On windows 7 everything works fine, but Windows 8 can not connect to Remote Apps. Windows 8 can connect to RDS server via Remote Desktop Connection.

I have a window titled as "unnamed window" which can not be closed. I am unable to get its PID. Neither Xkill utility and Xprop doesn't work. Xprop doesn't report anything when I click on it.

I know it was said in jest (Or I think it was), but even in the worst case, there is no need to reboot - just restart X.
I suspect the name "unnamed window" is not useful, as that is likely the window manager's default when it either cant get the window attributes, or when the window attributes contain a NULL string.
I am also guessing this is a tilingWM - is this awesomewm? I suspect this as I've seen this problem with some programs that crash after having mapped a window but before they have drawn anything to it. This window will remain in the WM's listing of windows, but it will not be at all functional. Often it will not even be "visible" - but if you have a tiling wm, it will take up a tile space.
I've been thinking of writing a little utility to remove such dead-windows.

Okay. You are not entering the correct passcode. If you forgot or it is not taking your passcode then you will have to restore.

New Laptop, windows 8, can not get logged into iTunes.

I have a new laptop with Windows 8. I've installed iTunes but can not get logged onto my account or home sharing etc. I keep getting a pop up message
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request"
"The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"
I've already unauthorized my old laptop to make way for the new one so it can't be that.
My iTunes libary is stored on an external harddrive and even though I chnaged to location folder in the iTunes settings it's still not picking up any of that either.
Any suggestions before I launch the whole lot out the window??

Try the following:

I have installed Windows 7 and Windows 2008 server in a Virtual Box. Windows 2008 server is my Domain Controller and DNS is configured. Please find my configuration below.
Domain Controller FQDN name - bbi.in
IP addrees - 192.168.10.14
subnet mask- 255.255.255.0
gateway- 192.168.10.254
Preferred Dns - 192.168.10.14
Windows 7 having IP address 192.168.10.2
Ping connectivity is working from both end
My Problem is my windows 7 machine is not joining to domain.
while doing Nslookup command from windows 7 command prompt I am getting default server and Ip address of the domain controller.
I have been trying a lot and did lots of trouble shooting but can not get any solution plz.... help

Cisco wlc ios 7.2 with clients windows 8 can not authenticate with 802.1x

I have a solution a unified solution wireless with a cisco wlc 7.2 and ap cisco. My issue is the follow:
My users are using laptops with OS windows 8, and they can not access to the network wireless because they authenticate in to the network using 802.1x wpa/wpa2 with tkip or aes.
I find a bug in the ios of the wlc. The number is CSCua29504. I would not to change the drivers in the laptop to join the users in to the solution.
Please is possible to find any software to do the upgrade in the wlc? Or perhaps we need to do an upgrade in to cisco lightweight access point?
Please help me in this issue.

Bug ID CSCua29504 has been fixed in WLC firmware 7.0.235.3, 7.3.101.X or 7.4.100.X.
So if you are NOT running any one of these codes, then yes. Upgrade your firmware is your solution.

Hi, I bought a Thinkpad T410 (type ID:　2516-CTO)last week. But after I tried to spilt C: (it's 500GB) into 3 separate disk then reboot
Windows can not start up, screen show " Please install windows install disk to recover" but i don't find Windows 7 disk from my ship package.
I tried to press blue "ThinkVantage" or F10 or F12, it still can not work. I feel so depressed, so i called thinkpad warranty service in Chicago(i'm in Chicago downtown now). But they said they do not fix software issues with free...

if all else fails, use the windows 7 iso from the above to reinstall the windows 7 os. Your windows 7 serial no. on the authenticity sticker is valid for both 32 bit and 64 bit version of OS.
Before resorting to a reinstall, burn and boot that same ISO and use the repair features. That might get you going.

Windows service can not open DB.

in 8.1.7 on Win 2003, when I launch oracleservicemyDB in Windows services, it can not open myDB and I have this error in alertlog :
Database mounted in Exclusive Mode.
ORA-1991 signalled during: alter database mount exclusive...
I can connect via sqlplus and issue :
ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
and no problem.
I can SHUTDOWN or STARTUP in sqlplus without any problem. Any idea ?
I have already recreated PWDmyDB.ora file by ORAPWD.
myDB is a clone (by CREATE CONTROLFILE script) of another DB.

Hi,
The oracle service has a setting which defines whether or not the instance is started when the service is started. It's a long time since I've used 8i on Windows, but I believe the command to change the setting went something like this:
oradim.exe -edit -sid <sid> -startmode a
This will configure the service so that next time it is started, it will start the instance (the 'a' means auto).

Have you installed Boot Camp drivers? You need them to make the Wi-Fi and Ethernet cards work.
If you have Snow Leopard, insert the Mac OS X DVD and install the drivers. If you have Mountain Lion or Lion, you have to start into OS X (pressing X key while your computer is starting) and download the drivers on Boot Camp Assistant. After updating software two months ago my email font was stuck in large and couldn't get it to change. posted issue on forum, called apple support, went to genius bar, went to 1 to 1 and NO ONE could figure it out. Problem during install window 8, can not select the drive

During the installation windows 8 on my iMac, I have followed step by step however, when it was reaching to choose the hard drive to install windows and I have formatted the drive as well, but I still not be able to click next to continue. Anyone know what problem here? And how to solve it

In the topmost Firefox menu with File,Edit,View,History,Bookmarks, I can not get the list of bookmarks to display as they did before. The Bookmarks menu does not open up into the list of bookmarks.

I am running Mac os 10.6.8 and Firefox 6.0.1 on a MacBook Pro and on a desktop Macintosh.
The large computer displays a list of bookmarks when you click on the uppermost Bookmarks menu.
The MacBook Pro displays the following when you click on the Bookmarks word in the top menu:
"Show all Bookmarks, Bookmark this Page, Bookmark all Tabs and an icon with a blue dot next to Bookmarks Toolbar with an arrow to the right and below that it says Unsorted Bookmarks.
There is no display of the list of bookmarks from which I can chose as I do on the larger desktop macintosh computer.
How can I get the list of bookmarks to show as a list when I click the Bookmarks menu?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
