My Intel iMac always has around 2 GB available RAM, even when i run apps. Why is that?

I own a Intel iMac from aug. 2007. It has 2 gigabytes of ram and about a year ago i upgraded it with 2 gigabytes more.
The machine runs as it should and had no problems after the installation. It discovered the ram instantly and now says 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM in the "about this Mac" window.
My problem is that when i run applications which require something (like rendering in Final Cut or playing Diablo III) the activity monitor app still says that the iMac has almost 2 gigabytes of ram available.
It would only be natural to presume that it is because it does not need the additional ram, but that is not the case. Final Cut rendering is slow and Diablo III runs mostly at about 18 FPS on the lowest settings.
Why is this and is it possible to get the iMac to use that additional RAM?

This is true. It gradualy changes, but it never goes below 1 gigabyte.
This is with Diablo and Chrome running simultaneously. They are both give about 500 megabites each, wit Diablo on the lowest resolution and graphics. Still Diablo runs at about 12-18 FPS. This is my problem.
Edit: Reflecting on this I realized that OSX of cause only allows every app a limited amount of memory. This changes my question to: Is it possible to raise the apps maximum memory cap?

When i unistall and again install a fresh Crystal report for .Net 4.0 Its ok to generate only to pdf option when click to the print icon on crystal report viewer but in another computer it is promting the old fasion like "a dialog with many option" ,But if want to have a only option to generate only to pdf option what should i have to do when my project and crystal report is at Window server 2008 R2,Please suggest a requred answer?

Firefox will update in increments when you use such old versions. The best thing to do is to go to www.getfirefox.com, and download Firefox 19.0.2. This is going to be much faster than updating to 3.0.19, then to 3.6, then 12, then 19 (which is the current process).

This happens to me too. Went to the apple store and they check the battery life of my iphone. They took the iphone for 2 days and changed my battery for free. I hope this help you!

BDC upoad for FB01 always gives the same msg in output even when file is ok

I have created a BDC upload program to upload data through a csv file . Whenever i run the program with teh file name with the data from teh csv file I just get the same error message in the output be it any data when its corect data .
the message is as follows.

In this case the the file that I uploaded has the following information:

when I go and check in the FB01 transaction and put the posting key as 31 and drop down on the account number it gives me a list of vendor account numbers and maybe thats the reason for teh file saying 924831 does not exits in the chart of G/L accounts. I am not sure but thats what teh message showing up whenever I upload any file , when i go to posting key 40 it does have the account number.

My chid has a Ipod and I keep getting charges from his apps why?

How does one switch between graphics cards on a RMB Pro that has both a regular and high performance card installed?

There's no control built into OS X to manually switch between them (that I know of). But in your Energy Saver preferences, there is setting called Automatic Graphics Switching that will either keep the discrete GPU on all the time, or automatically switch it off when not in use. Do you already have this preference turned on?
It might keep the high performance graphics card on if it's plugged into AC power, since there is no battery life penalty in that case.

My iphone 5 has been rebooting randomly after updating to ios 7.1.1 and the battery bar now stays the same.this has been occuring all the time even when batery level is high.it also happens when it is also charging.

My theme is always lost when i restart firefox. why is that?

The first entry of that pref is the currently selected Persona.
You may want to keep a backup copy of the current value of the lightweightThemes.usedTheme pref and bookmark the pages of installed Personas on the Add-ons site.
The images of the currently selected Persona are stored in the lightweighttheme-header and lightweighttheme-footer files in the Firefox profile folder, so make sure to keep these files as well.
Firefox copies the image files to the lwtheme folder in the Firefox profile folder and sets some prefs to true.

My laptop (win7 2ghz, 1gig) has 100% cpu usage with itunes installed (even when not running itunes) since the upgrade. i had to uninstall. tried installing but still the same problem. my daughter wants the new ipad, but this is a serious problem.

when itunes upgraded my laptop went to 100% cpu usage. only solution was uninstall. have tried itunes again as my daughter wants the new ipad. still same problem tho so not keen to spend £400 on new pad without pc support. anyone help? (ps been using ipod touches 1 and 2, been great source of pleasure for my two girls, but cant sync them, so using the little shuffles for music, syncing to an old version of itunes on an old netbook - had the sense to switch off upgrades when the new version went wrong)

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
