My internal search term instances are lower than in Google Analytics

Which doesn't make sense because Google Analytics are case sensitive and use unique searches, so it seems like SiteCatalyst would be more.
Case sensitive - doesn't SiteCatalyst combine all instances of search terms with different cases, so "cancel" would include "cancel," "CANCEL", and 'Cancel."  But yet, SiteCatalyst # for 'cancel' is still lower than Google Analytics # is for 'cancel' (not even including all other different case versions).
Unique Searches - Google Analytics excludes duplicate searches within a single visit.  So wouldn't SiteCatalyst 'visits' # match Google Analytics unique searches #?  But it doesn't - GA # is always more.

Hi Onder!
I put your Home Page heading "Iedereen kan zich topmodel voelen" to Google search and it found immediately your site in good location, on the 7th place!
Good result!

  • Post totals are lower than reality

I have been a member since 2002 and I have over 155 posts, yet, there are only 14 or so in my current posts. I read where the old posts are not being counted. Will it ever be entered again, or is it sort of a start from scratch? If so, I have another account that got started a couple months ago that has more posts but its' not a 2 level.
Any help by anyone is appreciated...

    You're Welcome Chris!
Posts that have no additional responses, will get continually pushed down on the Topics list. After a certain amount of time, maybe 2 to 6 months, the Threads will be archived/locked, so no responses can be entered. But the Threads will not disappear.
Topics in heavily trafficked Forums, may be archived more rapidly than those in areas, with less activity.
If you want to view your Total Posts Online, you can do a Discussions Search using these parameters.

  • Widescreen resolutions LOWER than 1680x1050?

I have a MSI Geforce 7600 GS AGP 256mb graphic card and a Samsung 226BW monitor. My problem is, that I can't get any widescreen resolutions that are LOWER than the native 1680x1050. This is a problem, because I don't own the fastest machine (a 3ghz P4), so running games in the native resolution is impossible. Anybody who knows what to do here? Is it my graphic card that just doesn't support these resolutions, or is there something you can do about it?
I have updated my nvidia drivers, without any luck. I also tried to make all resolutions available, but this only gave me widescreen resolutions HIGHER than 1680x1050, which is no good...
    Anybody who can help?

    7600GS supports widescreen natively.
I think as far as gaming resolution is concern, the game should automatically refer the setting that the game is running.

  • Transaction xk03 - Search term

    hello, in the transaction xk03:
Step 01:You check the adress checkbox and validate.
1)On the display vendor:address screen, there is a field named search term 1/2,
2)When i press F1 on the field, technical options , i get the structure ADDR1_DATA-SORT1.
I would like to know the name of the table where the search term values are stored(SORT1).thx

    Sooness,
Start transaction SE11 and display table ADRC.
    Click the Indexes button.
You may find the SAP defined index I13 for the SORT1 field.
So, all address data is in table ADRC. And an extra database index exists for the sortfield. As far as I know you cannot access / read this database index using normal abap.

  • How do i put in keyword search terms for Google in iWeb

Does anyone know how to put keyword (search term) into my existing webpage for Google?

This might be of interest to you: Official Google Webmaster Central Blog: Google does not use the keywords meta tag in web ranking.
That being said use iWeb SEO to add metadata, page and site descriptions, title tags, etc., to an iWeb page, either after publishing to MobileMe or after publishing to a folder on the hard drive.
More information on getting Google to recognize your site can be found here: Get your iWeb website found in search engines like Google Yahoo MSN and Bing.

  • "The version of the Player that you are trying to install is lower than what is currently installed" when installing 14.0.0.176

I've been deploying flash updates thru SCCM for a long time using the MSI.  With this update, many computers updated successfully, but about 200+ of them failed.  Each computer I have looked at has the message "Product: Adobe Flash Player 14 ActiveX -- The version of the Player that you are trying to install is lower than what is currently installed." in event viewer.  Attempting a manual install of the MSI produces a similar interactive message.  The current installed version is definitely older than the one I am attempting to install.  I am only able to re-mediate by manually uninstalling, and then installing 14.0.0.176.  I could script and deploy an uninstaller, but I would rather the bug with the MSI be fixed.

    Dear María,
Finally, I have been able to reproduce the error, both in ActiveX and plugin installers updating from version 15.0.0.246.
    Here you have the logs:

  • The boxes where I would type in search terms and URL are GONE! So is the BACK BUTTON. HELP!

I downloaded software to convert jpg files to pdf's, and it worked. however, I think it installed Incredimail, and I suspect that it installed Ask.com - neither of which I wanted. It was just after that that my back arrow and my boxes where i type in search terms and urls DISAPPEARED! Firefox is compatible with some important websites and has features that i need. NEED.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
    * Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
    * If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
    * If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
    * If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

Your select querry on MARC is not matching with MARC_TY.
The field in the MARC table and MARC_TY should be same.
and also, when you are making select querry on CDPOS table
    with all entries.
When ever you are using all entries select statement, you should check whether the internal table is having value.
    you should check
    if CDPOS_IT[] is not initial.

  • Where are FlashHelp Search Terms in Output?

I need to find and remove some search terms in the output/generated files for a FlashHelp project. I have searched through all of the output and cannot find the terms I am looking for, but they are still there when I search for them when I run FlashHelp.
    Thank You,
    Ray

    Hi there
There are a few places the terms may exist. What version of RoboHelp are you using? And what RoboFlavor? (RoboHelp for Word or RoboHelp HTML)
    Cheers... Rick

  • PDF files are very faint and the search function doesn't highlight the search term when found

I'm using Firefox 5 with Windows 7 64 bit. When I open a PDF file the file is very faint and the search function doesn't highlight the search term in the body of the PDF.

    Dear Peter,
I met the following problem, and please help me.
My English (not Chinese) operating system: Windows XP
    Version: 2002
Before using RoboHelp 7 to generate Webhelp, I perform the
    following steps:
    1. Control Panel->Regional Options
    2. On the "Languages" page make sure make sure you check the
box "Install files for East Asian languages".
    3. On the "Advanced" page select "Chinese" from the language
    dropdown list.
Then I perform the following steps:
    1. Use RoboHelp 7 to generate Webhelp (my Webhelp project
    contains localized Chinese files).
    2. In the "Search" tab, input a Chinese character(For example
    "连接") and perform a seach.
    Result: Serching...(or 正在搜索) or
    No topics found (or
    未找到主题)。
Expected result: I can get the result.

  • Windows 7's Infection Rates Five Times Lower Than Windows XP

"Windows 7's marketshare continues to grow at a steady pace at the expense of its two older siblings, Windows Vista and XP, according to the data from StatCounter. In terms of global usage, Windows XP is at 46.44%, Windows Vista at 12.5%, and Windows 7 at 32.64%. Good news for everyone, right? Well, if these adoption numbers aren't convincing enough, perhaps this might convince you (or your technologically challenged peers) - Windows 7 has the lowest infection rates per quarter amongst Microsoft's currently supported operating systems."

  • Search Term Issues when passed as Parameters in Opening a PDF file in Browser (Updated)

    Hi everyone,
I am wondering if there is a solution to the following issue.
We are working with PDF files that have been OCRed (invisible text layer). We use a search engine to search the PDFs for terms. We then pass the search terms as a parameter to the PDF when we are opening it in Acrobat or Reader in the browser. It brings up a list of instances and the context in which it is found -- much like the native search function -- but it is not possible to only search for the exact phrase when it is passed as a variable..
In some cases, what we see are two lists -- so it has the filename with a list underneath that is expanded showing search results, and then a second instance of the file name after that list, but it is collapsed.
Is there a way to just have one list or both lists expanded at the same time?
Also, is there a way to ensure that it shows instances where more search keywords are found at the top of the list.
For example, if we pass the search phrase "wanted to buy a car" it might show instances of "to" at the top of the list, but later on in the collapsed list it might show instances of "buy a car".  Again, is it possible to prioritize the results, or at the very least, expand everything? I am not sure what else we can try.
    thank you,
    Jeremy
Follow up: I should note that some times the two lists appear to be the same or similar terms found twice. At the top it would say 2 documents with n instances (where n is the number of instances). I have noticed this when the search keyword count goes up.
Follow up #2: It appears that this occurs more often when using more than 2 keywords, but I have seen it happen with only 2 words.

There were documents available in the knowledgeable that I no longer have the urls for. I have had communication with Adobe Acrobat support personnel that have made the same statements. I do not have the habit  of asking official Adobe tech support people to prove their statements by providing documentation. I have also seen Adobe employees give presentations on computers that have had both installed. When they were asked about the incompatibility, they did say the equivalent of phooey. However, enough people on this forum have had their problems disappear when they have removed one of the two programs that I feel comfortable giving that advice. Yes some people have no problems running both until one of the programs or a system component gets updated and then things stop working. My advice is not to have both on the same computer. When two programs share system calls and can fight over who gets to handle the call it makes sense that it can cause a problem. It doesn't make a difference if it is Reader and Acrobat or any two other programs you run. If you are not having a problem with running both GREAT. However, if you are running both and have a problem, it is a simple step to eliminate one and see if the problem disappears.

  • Search term failed

    Hi all,
When I am searching for Vendor number with field Name1 search key (Eg: for Michel I am searching with Mic*) in SE16 it is displaying correct vendors.
If I am searching the same in XK03 search term is failing says ‘no values for the selection’.
This is related to Russian language.
I used to login in RU language when I am login into sap main screen.
All these Russian language characters are in Cyrillic format.
When I am going to search for vendor with name1 I am just copying the starting 3 characters [Cyrillic – RU] of name 1 and pasting in the search field to get my output.
But it is failing at XK03 & it is successful in SE16.
Why it Is happening like that, can any having idea about this please help me.

    Hi Suneel,
Is this case sensitive (upper lower name)?
If this isn't perhaps you may want to search OSS notes or send note SAP for advise.
Also try to debug whether XK03 and SE16 are using the same search help or not.
    Regards,
    Ferry Lianto

  • Robohelp 9: Error when using search terms including the word "not"

We are moving from Robohelp 7 to Robohelp 9.  We realize that Boolean operators such as NOT are supposed to be working now, but we do have times when we might find ourselves using search terms that include the word "not" on its own.
The problem that we are finding is that if we search for something like "office not installed", because that phrase is part of a specific error message we might be trying to locate, we are getting the error, "The words you typed is not a valid expression" [sic].
We have tried making modifications to the Stop Words and Always Ignore words and can't seem to find a solution.  We do need to be able to search using the word "not" as a regular search term.  Even as a Boolean operator (NOT), we are getting the same error.  Searching for "office installed" will get us the result that we want, but we have a team of users who will definitely instinctually search using the word "not" since it's part of the error they are searching for.
    Thoughts?

    Hi Benjamin
First, I don't believe the Always Ignore has anything to do with Searching. That particular list is used when you instruct RoboHelp to build an index using the Smart Index Wizard.
Actually, something like "Office Not Installed" is a perfect use of the Index. But I'm guessing here that your system doesn't include an index in favor of trawling through the pile of words in the project.
If you aren't using an index yet, I'd highly suggest you investigate it. In a properly indexed system your users will find what they are looking for infinitely faster and easier than they ever will by using Search.
    Just a thought... Rick

  • When using Google Toolbar, and I begin entering a search term, several complete choices appear, but when I click on one of them, autocomplete does not fill in the search box.

Why does the complete suggested search term not appear in the search box when I click on it?

Probably caused by search redirect Malware.

They are listed in order of efficacy.<br />'''''(Not all programs detect the same Malware, so you may need to run them all to solve your problem.)''''' <br />These programs are all free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in the "free mode" - but those are features you really don't need to find and remove the problem that you have.<br />
