My internet on my macbook pro is working very slow, but the network appears to be fine. My mac book air internet is working perfectly. Any thoughts?

1. Restart the router. Restart the computer.
2. Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
3. Option click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select "Library" and then "Caches".
Right click "com.apple.Safari" and select "Move to Trash"
Relaunch Safari.
4. Reset Safari.
Click Safari in the menu bar.
From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
Uncheck the box next to " Remove saved names and passwords".
Click "Reset".
5. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn those off, if any.

I am new to Mac and I dont know what to do, please help.Completely uninstall the Kaspersky software AND MacKeeper. Both aren't necessary and can cause all kinds of issues.

Clamshell and mirroring are two distinct concepts, I know. As to the lost audio, I have restarted my equipment more than a few times. It's usually one of my first options. Just don't understand why the audio stays home and the video makes it to the tv. That's with mirroring.
I really want to be able to close the lid of the MacBook and use the tv as a desktop. With mirroring, the cursor is choppy and reacts slowly. I wish to watch programming stored on my drives on the tv. I dont really need or want mirroring, but it's the only way I know of to get desktop to the tv. And mirroring still suffers audio loss. Someone in the community mentioned using and external keyboard and "clamshell" but they didn't elaborate. That's what I'm really wishing to accomplish.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.
If that doesn't solve the issue, you should back up & restore through iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a new device and test. -

I suppose files with complex layouts may have issues, but I have yet to run into one. YMMV, I guess. In any case, it's native, quick, and free, so it doesn't hurt to try it out.
I've had really bad luck with Office on the Mac - buggy, slow, awkward non-mac-like interface, plus it installs junk all over your system (in typical MS fashion). Plus, it's fairly expensive. The next version of office shows some promise - the MS mac team supposedly did a serious overhaul on the interface and internals, but time will tell. The only thing I really miss is the AppleScript support - Office is very script-friendly. -

Actually i upgraded one of my users OS with Win8 ( previously it was Win7 32 bit ) after that SAP started giving issues i tried 7.20 with PL 14 and 7.30 with PL 3 but both are hanging while the time of login...... means after entering my credentials it will take more than one min for loading my data. In the same time other windows 7 systems with 7.20 pl 10 is taking maximum of 2 sec for loading the data, using the same credentials.Hello Nikhil.

An interesting observation...when I have a MacBook Pro connected and select Computers on my AppleTV2, the name of the MacBook computer comes up on the screen and allows me to select it and view photos from my iTunes library. Orks perfectly. When my Windows 8 PC is connected, and I select Computers on my AppleTV, the name of the PC does NOT come up on the computer list, but instead the AppleTV immediately tries to download pictures from the PC itunes library. It runs for ~2 minutes then generates an error message saying it could not connect to the iTunes library and to make sure it is tunrned on, connect to the same network, and use the same blah, blah, blah. I know all the settigns on the network are correct because my MacBook works perfecty. So frustrating that my PC worked previously before the recent iTunes software update. What to do to fix it?

Working very slow on internet. Yet without internet shows normal speed.
I am using Window 7. I have very serious problem with speed in firefox when connected with internet. It works very slow. When I tested without internet it was working normal. I have tried various anti-virus tools and adware removal softwares. I also contacted with internet service provider. But when I test internet speed it shows around 2 MB or enough desired speed.
I also replaced my hard drive in the doubt of any damage. I am using dell-3500 laptop with intel i3 core processor (32 bit OS) Surprisingly when I uninstall and re-install firefox browser it shows always previously installed adons and setting looking like using old settings. Sometime but not always it also shows the popup like : "some type of script is running . do you want to debug or stop".
Now going to be very frustrated not able to detect exact issue of slowing down of browser. Sometime so slow that if I scroll down with mouse it jerk and take few seconds to shift only one inch downward and when I open new tab it takes 20-30 sec to open new web page. I am looking for any help.Is this with all pages?
