My iOS 4.2.1 cannot upgrade any farther. How can I use TuneIn Radio type of apps which appear to require iOS 4.3 or higher?
Can I use any Radio apps such as TuneIn or I Heart Radio with iOS 4.2.1. These and other radio apps such as
Pandora each state that I must have iOS 4.3 or higher. Apple says my device cannot run any iOS higher than
4.2.1.

How can I use 2 Apple IDs in Itunes? I have 2 IOS Devices. They each have there own AppleID. What is the proper way to sync both of them to Itunes? I wanted my teenager's AppleID to be different from mine so that she couldn't charge stuff to my AppleID, therefore I created me another one. Now when I go to Sync either device, it tells me that this IOS device can only be synced with one AppleID. Then I get a message to erase it, not going to do that, lol. If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks -
Just upgraded to Lion, how can I use my microsoft office especially excel. I'm getting messages that it's no longer supported. This is a BIG problem. Help, please.
Apple has made a serious error not advising people when the Lion upgrade occurs that their present software may/will not be compatible and advise the user of such before and allow a opt out.
All you can do (besides upgrading all your software) is backup your data off the machine (not to TimeMachine) and disconnect all drives.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk and erase your makers hard drive on the far left, (that's the entire drive of everything)
Partition tab: Option: GUID, format OS X extended and click apply so you get a new GUID (replacing the Lion one or trouble occurs later)
Quit and install 10.6, then go through setup and use the same name as before, then update to 10.6.8
Then c boot off the 10.6 disk again and use Disk Utility to Repair the disk the 10.6.8 update messed up.
Then install all your programs again from fresh sources and lastly your user files in the same main user folders as before (music, pictures, documents etc.)
Done as described will get you back just like it was before as close as possible, make SURE to use the same username or else your iTunes and other files get all messed up. Password and drive name can be different though if you wish.
Note: if you've upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6, then you don't get the free iLife as it's not on the 10.6.3 white disks, only on the disks that came with your machine. So that will have to be purchased and reinstalled or use Pacifist to extract it from the 10.5 disks.

New to Apple, having fun with ipad Air, but geting frustrated with its weird ways.
Deleted the iphoto app to clear out photos (yes, really). Now cannot download it again. Other deleted apps download exactly as the manual says but not iphoto. Can anyone suggest how to fix please? Also, cannot delete test photos from"photos" app, brought in from Dropbox. Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

For the photos, if they are in the Camera Roll album in the Photos app then you can either delete them via the trashcan icon in the bottom right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the Select button top right in thumbnail view. -

Safari cannot support Java 7., how can I use Java 6 developed by Apple?
I was told to go the Terminal page and to key in the scipts provided by Apple but still could not get rid of Java 7 and restore to Apple's Java 6.
The plug in is now blocked.

I am having a similar experience. Since upgrading my Ipad 2 to iOS 8 and then iOS 8.0.2 I have not been able to use wifi consistently and it is very frustrating. I can no longer watch any video because the wifi shuts down and won't come back without a complete reboot of the iPad. And forget about consistent bluetooth! My ipad worked perfect before the "upgrade" to iOS 8 and beyond but now it is really worthless. I have spent a lot of time and have tried every fix that I have read about online and NOTHING has corrected the problems created by the upgrade. After spending a lot of time trying to resolve this I am certain the problem is the buggy "upgrade" but I feel like no one at Apple is listening. I have always loved Apple products but this rotten Apple experience is making me think about exploring what else is out there. Apple folks, I recommend getting this fixed quick or your stockholders won't be smiling!

App store tried to update iBooks app. I can only see Newstand app on my screen and cannot get to bookstore. How can I delete and download the iBooks app again. iBook still appears in the settings menu as version 2.1

Yes. The description for Pages in the Mac App Store says 10.7.4 or later. Mountain Lion is 10.8.
First, check this page (about Mountain Lion)

Before running the Mountain Lion Installer, it would be a good idea to run Disk Utility. Select "Macintosh HD" in the sidebar and go to the First Aid tab. Use Repair Disk Permission and then Verify Disk. Don't be concerned about message that come up with Repair Disk Permission, but if any error is reported byVerify Disk, you need to fix that problem BEFORE installing a system upgrade. Running these checks will help avoid problems, if there are any issues on your startup disk prior to running the upgrade.
If your Mac has been running without restarting for a while, you should restart, THEN immediately run the Mountain Lion Installer. -

DVI interface does't allow audio. Is there optical IN from your Panasonic TV? By then you can connect your ATV to Panasonic using optical together. It will work.

Once you are in Recovery Mode, it's too late to do any backup. I am afraid you are going to lose your data.
