My IP Address was published on a public forum, can I protect myself?

The owner of a forum (AppleTalk Australia) I was a member of published my IP Address in a thread there and I'm concerned about security issues.
How can insure my computer is safe? Is there any configurations in System Preferences, Aiport Admin Utility, etc I should adjust?

What IP address was published, your internal network IP or the external IP?
If it was internal, (ie 192.168.xxx.yyy or 10.0.0.z) then it doesn't matter. If it was external, as long as your firewall is up, I don't think you've got much to worry about.
Besides, mine is not published and I have no end of people trying to gain FTP access or various other connection methods to my computer all the time. If the computer is connected to the 'net, it's published.

Note - if your older apps needs an update it will use your old apple id and password, as Apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it.
You can't merge apple id.

Any content is tied to the account that you used to buy/download it - so if you created a new account as opposed to updating the existing one, then you will need to use the old account to download updates to its apps. Can you not update your old account so as to have a new email address on it (e.g. via this page) ?

Once the device is gone it is too late to protect yourself.
Hopefully your device was setup to auto-lock and had a passcode, otherwise all data is accessible to anyone that picks it up.
Frankly, the most likely scenario is that the device has already been restored as new and is or has been sold for quick cash.

You should look at our Single Edition publishing guide. You don't use Folio Producer with Single Edition. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ppcompdoc/Step_by_step_guide_to_dps_se.pdf
Note that support for Single Edition in Creative Cloud ends on May 1st. Make sure you get your app completed and approved by Apple before then.

I joined Skype on the 25th of November, 2010 and used it for a very short time only, and was fully satisfied with the product at that time.
On May 14, 2013, I purchased a one-year subscription with the intention of using it on a regular basis once a week at least.
My username was mentioned in the email I received in 2010, and by guesswork, I found the password that worked.
But the public library, using their wifi, I kept receiving a message:
'Sorry we cannot process your sign in request further A return address was specified, which is not allowed.'
What does this mean?
I'm using an ASUS laptop with Windows 8.

are you trying to sign in using an email address where a Skype Name is expected?

I cannot send email - error message as follows : 'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk.' I can send email from other apple devices, and the email settings are identical. Any ideas?

For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:

I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.

How do I access my iWeb website when I no longer have the original iWeb program it was published with?

Last Fall, my '06 iMac was vandalized and destroyed unexpectedlyl. Since then, I have'nt been able to access my only website, which was published through iWeb. My new iMac does not have iWeb.
How can I access my main website published through the old iWeb? I must transfer my domain name/site to a new web host and build a new site. My website is out of date and must be updated/replaced asap. Please help.

To edit your website, you need the domain.sites file iWeb uses to store its assets.
You also need iWeb.
If the file is missing and you have no backup, you'll have to start from scratch.
Perhaps you still have the iLife install disks.
And browse this forum to learn how to get a copy of iLife. It's often discussed.

IPhone 6 is unable to send email because the sender address was rejected by the server

When I try to send emails from my Microsoft Outlook for Mac, I get a message that says "Unable to Send Email. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The sender address was rejected by the server." I've checked all the settings (it is a POP account). I've deleted and re-installed. Any suggestions??

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

From the information that you have provided, it sounds like your Apple ID has been disabled. You can read this to see how you can troubleshoot that issue.

You can try signing out of your ID on the iPad and sign in with his ID and see if that works.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Then sign in with your husband's newly created ID.

i have the same problem with my 3gs and tried to add my email acc+pass in the outgoing server but it got rejected.
just bin on the phone(45min) with my carrier support about this issue they are pretty much scratching there head, the settings i should use gets verified with no problems when i add the outgoung server, but still cant send mails.

my email address was changed from mine to my dads. he had changed my apple ID over to his email (i allowed him to use my ipad and this is what happened). i just changed my password and email back to mine and now my iMessage will not work. it keeps saying that my messages will not go through. i turned my imessage off and then back on and it is still not working!
