My iPad 2 changes wifi network from home router to wifi audio all the time, how do i stop this?
This happens all the time and I dont use the audio all that much. Yes i can disable the audio but synching it back aagin is not an easy process.
I thought the iPad stayed on the same network and last used network, my iPad cahnges in the middle of say reading the local news paper.
Try rebooting your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I bought a brand new iPad 3 and an Apple TV, both connected to the same wpa protected wifi network from home. It worked for a day, but when I woke up, the Apple TV couldn't be found anymore by either iPad, MacBook or iPhone. Anybody a solution for this?
Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.
Do you have an iPad 3 as well? And is yours not experiencing any issues close to mine?

All the info you do with your image files is stored in the Lightroom Catalog file. The Catalog file cannot be located on a network it must have a physical connection to the computer.
While the Catalog is in use a LOCK file will be temporarily placed alongside which prevents its use by any other device. -
Everytime I plug my phone into to sync, Itunes starts downloading the same rented movie over and over. I go in and delte it from my library but it does it again. How can I stop this from happening?
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

My iPhone 4s has been update as I said in subject bar.. Now can't connect to any of my cars Bluetooth systems. Also even more frustratingly can't connect to any wifi networks at home or work!!
How can apple put out such an update that causes so much grief and inconvenience to hundreds of people. Not to mention risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working...outraged!!!!!!First, grow up. Just because YOUR phone isn't working, doesn't mean Apple put out bad software. I've not had any difficulty, nor has anyone else I know. And just how is Apple risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working? It's YOUR decision to talk on the phone or text and drive. Not Apple's.
We're users here, volunteering our time to help others. Posts like yours, which are whiny and ranting, simply means we're likely to ignore you and not provide you with any help. Not to mention, it makes you look absolutely foolish.
Further making you look foolish is the fact that you haven't even asked a technical support question, nor have you provided anyone here with any troubleshooting steps you might have taken, including those recommended in the user guide.

My iPad mini home button doesn't work all the time
When I click the home button on my ipad, it doesn't do anything. If I try a few more times then it will work once or twice. But not all the time.
Calibrate Home button
1. Open a stock application e.g. Calendar or Youtube
2. Hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" control appears
3. as soon as you see it, press the home button and keep it pressed until the red slider disappears and the app is force quit to the home menu -
When I've worked on my private home-page and want to controll the results, how do I get my Mac to take the new version instead of the old one? I tried cmd R without any change! Who knows? Nina
Try clearing the cache - command-option-e in Safari.

I have just updated to 10.7.3 and safari always reloads previous pages I have been on every time on open it, my home page is set to google yet it always reloads from the history, how do I stop this
There is a setting in the System Preferences for this as well that may be causing it. Go to System Preferences>General>Restore windows when quitting and reopening apps - at the bottom of the window under Number of Recent items. Remove the checkmark from that setting.
Also - if you close all of your windows when you are done with Safari - it should open to your home page. -
A friend and I text almost all the time. He used to receive all of my messages and one day, he text me, I responded and he didn't receive it. He still doesn't receive my texts but can receive other texts from everyone else. He sees me texts when he is on his computer through google voice but doesn't see my messages on his phone. How can we fix this issue?
Did he previously have an iPhone and now uses another type of phone?

I have an i mac and under images in All My Files it has made hundreds of face photos from all my pictures in i photos, how can I stop this ?
Hmmm, so it's taking new pics all the time?
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for pic problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

You're going to need to figure out what application is making the noise. Start with whatever ones you've added recently. Check their settings. Or, just delete the recently added apps. You can always add them back later.

Home button is not working all the time
I have started to notice that when I press the home button on my iPhone 4 it does not work all the time. This problems has only started to occur and was first noticed around three months back, however I did not make a big fuss out of this because it was not as often as it is now.
Sometimes i find this extremely frustrating as it occurs even when the phone is locked and you are trying to bring up the unlock menu (which I know this can be done by using the wake up/ lock botton located on the top of the phone)
but this also is a pain when it happens, whilst using an app e.g. playing a game and trying to text someone. Because of the faulty this also makes multi tasking sometimes impossible.Try calibrating the Home button.
1. Open a pre-installed app, such as Contacts
2. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the red slider appears
3. Immediately release the sleep/wake button; press and hold the Home button.
4. Hold until the red slider disappears. -
I'm on the wifi network at home, but can't connect to the internet
Is there a way to check why I can't get on the internet, when I'm on the network? I've reentered several times the information on the ipod touch settings, and it connects to my network just fine. I've reset the ipod several times. I'm using a d-link DIR501 router, which my other ipod, laptops, and printer, etc all connect just fine.
Forgetting the network shouldn't prevent you from reconnecting to it assuming you know the SSID (name) and have the password. What happens when you try?
