My ipad 2 has suddenly died. It is not charging and not working. It is under the one year warranty. Does anybody have experienced such problem?

IPhone 3G not charging and not being recognised by PC

I plugged my iPhone 3G into my laptop today to charge it, as the battery was extremely low and for some reason, it's not being recognised by my computer at all, and it's not charging at all.
I've tried plugging it into a powerpoint in the wall as well, and it still doesn't charge.
I plugged my iPod into my computer with the same USB cable, and it worked fine.
If I hold in the power button at the top, the battery picture comes up with a tiny bit of red in it and the power cable -> charge pictures come up underneath, then the screen just goes black again.
I've never had this problem before, so I'm not sure what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem after the upgrade, but think I may have a solution. The problem doesn't seem to be that the phone isn't charging, it's that the indicator isn't showing that it has charged. Try this:
1. Plug into the wall socket.
2. Push and hold the power button, you should get a "slide to turn off" kind of message -- do it.
3. Let the phone power off, and leave it that way for a slow count of ten.
4. Turn it back on by pushing and holding the power button -- you'll get that black screen with the apple logo, don't panic, it just takes a minute to power up, you haven't lost anything.
When it came on, the indicator showed it was fully charged from the night before. My concern is that the indicator got hosed by the upgrade.
Try that out, let me know if it works -- and at your own risk. It worked for me as written, but I can't guarantee that will do the trick or not wipe your phone. I don't think so, it seems innocuous enough, just wanted to make sure you're aware there could be another resynch needed if it does do something else for you.

My Mid 2012 13" Macbook Pro is not charging and not recognizing the A/C adapter. Is there anything I can do?

The light on the A/C adapter does not turn on when I plug it into the macbook pro. I tried resetting the SMC, but the Macbook Pro still does not recognize the charger. Is the charging port broken? Is there anything I can do to fix it before finally taking it in to the Genius Bar? I have also tried using multiple chargers so I know there is no problem with the charger. Will it cost a lot as my macbook is three months out of warranty?

If you have got a different charger, try plugging it to the Mac and see if it charges. Also, check that your charger (the one you have got now) light appears in orange or green when you plug it in. If it doesn't turn on, it's possible that the charger is not working correctly.
I recommend you to take the Mac and the charger to an Apple Store or reseller. If the problem is the charger, the repair will be cheap, but if the problem is the logic board or the battery connector, it may be expensive

I have an iPhone 4S since 2 years, it suddenly stopped charging and wasn't giving any response while i press the power button. I mean nothing! No sign of it not charged or any other. It happened 3 weeks ago, I sent it for repair and checkup, and still nothing. i sent it twice, when it came back it still had the same problem. I used at least 3-5 different Chargers. still nothing. please help fast! it was working till 3 weeks ago. the battery is fine (was checked by a repairer).

Inspect the charging port area for dirt/debris/fluff build-up that may be preventing a good connection and use a wooden toothpick, soft clean toothbrush, or a can of compressed air to clean it. Also look for bent or broken pins. Try another cable and/or charger block (be sure to always use a genuine Apple certified brand) in a known good outlet. If you're using a USB port, try another port. If you're using a hub, try a direct connection. If you're using a USB port in the front of a desktop computer, try one in the back. If all these fail, make an appointment at your nearest Genius Bar to have the device evaluated.

PS4 Controller Not Charging and Not Recognized By Fix Or Replace Section

Hi, I bought 2 magma red DS4s (pre-owned) and one of them works perfectly and the other doesn't. I have tried reseting the controller and connecting it a USB to try sync it up with my PS4 but nothing seems to work. When I plug the controller into the USB it flashes orange for a moment and then turns off. When I try to turn it on it simply flashes for a few moments and turns off again. Anyone know what's wrong here? Are there any places (in the UK) that I can take the controller to be repaired because when I tried to use the trouble shooting, repair or fix it section it says that I am entering an invalid serial number (it is definitely correct).

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.

According to me first you check your lightning cable becouse with the lightning cable there is issue of peeling out than the cable is working some time or not working some time. you can check you lightning cable from the lightning connectors side and also from USB side. if your cable is peeling out the replace your cable and that is not peeling out that you can go with the Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).

The best way to charge an iPad is to use the charger that came with it connected to a known good wall outlet. The following might be the problem.
No power in the outlet.
Bad charger unit. Try a different charger.
Bad cable. Try a know good cable.
Dirt in the connector on the iPad. Check and clean.
A fault in the charging software. Reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
A hardware failure. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
