My Ipad 2 have frozen with itunes icon alot , I bring to apple store fix it alot , but bring home use only a week , ipad have same broblem again , I very tired and mad because I pay alot money for apple but they give me bad ipad , future I thing about samsung tablet . Now my ipad still have a problem I am very upset this ****.
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
Thanks for listening,
Melissa

Ios8 failed update now iPad 2 is frozen, with iTunes icon on screen
My kid saw that the iOS 8 update was available for my iPad 2 and he proceeded to try to do the update but after a while when he checked how it was going there was only a black screen with the iTunes icon in the middle and what looks like a cord pointing to it.
At first we had tried to do the update wirelessly but after I saw that sign I assumed that the iPad wanted me to plug it to the iTunes app. I tried it in my old laptop where i had my iTunes account and the update failed to download again. I then tried it in a brand new iMac that I bought a few weeks ago and where iTunes was not previously installed but the update keeps failing every time and it gives error code number 9. It says to check for the latest version of the iMac iOS and also the latest iTunes which i have both of so I do not think that that is the problem. It also talks about security software interfering with the connection but like I said before this is a brand new iMac and I have not installed any security software yet.
Any ideas on how I can get my iPad working again? I don't care if I keep the old iOS for now but I just want it to work again.
Thanks in advanceFORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE

Was reading book on iPad
Pop up asked if I wanted to upgrade- probably stupidly I agreed- now iPad screen is frozen with ITunes symbol and image of charger cord on screen- tried turning it off - no help.Carolyn explained how to reset the iPad. You don't need a tool or clip to do this...just your fingers.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
I do not think that is going to work, but try it.
You are getting the connect to iTunes message and that usually means that your iPad needs to be restored. -
I had this problem: "cannot connect to itunes" while trying to download an app so i went to the settings and i kinda messed it up that now i have not apps or itunes icon on my ipad! can anyone help me?
First, try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

My IPad screen is frozen with a message stating that the IPad has not been backed up to the ICloud for 7 weeks, this is not correct. I cannot get the messageto clear and cannot access any of the other icons; is there an emergency reboot process?
Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost. -

IPad mini has frozen with ICloudBackup window showing and msg "This iPad hasn't been backed up in two weeks. Backup happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked,, and connected to WiFi.
I have synced it with iTunes while computer is connected to internet. What more do I need to do.I can't get rid of this window by hitting OK
Ther display shows the correct time, but I cannot "slide to unlock".Try this now. Reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
I had an iPhone 4 with all my music on it. Got rid of my desktop when I got an iPad. Now I have iPhone 4S. How do I get my music transferred from old phone to 4s and iPad without a desktop with iTunes on it?
Restore the device from the backup created.
If no backup exists, there is nothing to recover. -
I have downloaded Games with iTunes to my PC, but I cant copy it to my iPad... It told me to authorize my computer, I have done so over and over again, but still cant copy and the message to authorize this PC keeps appearing..... Whats wrong?
This forum is for questions about Apple Remote Desktop, Apple's software for managing networked Mac systems, and hence not the best place for your question. I'd suggest asking in the iTunes for Windows forum.
Note, however, that iTunes has never been supported on the 64-bit version of Windows XP, so you're on your own to attempt to get it working.
