Update to above question:
Hello All,
To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.
Bob

Hi, if you have created an ePrintCenter account and added your printer to that account you can check its ePrint job history. At least that will give you more visibility to the status of any jobs you send to your printer via the ePrint service. Receiving the "no reply" confirmation message only indicates that the email you sent was received by the ePrint service and is being prepared for printing.
Here's a link with more information you might find useful ePrint Service Help
Hope this helps solve your problem

I think you have to sign into your Amazon Kindle Account, find the book in your archive and delete it there.  Otherwise you can delete it from the device and leave it in the archive, should you want to look at it again.

  • Unable to send email from Mac using Outlook for Mac 2011

I have a single user that cannot send email from the Mac after migrating to Exchange 2013 on-prem. I myself am on the same Exchange server and am using a Mac with Office 2011 and am able to send/receive emails without any issues.
When the user sends an email it goes to the sent mail folder and syncs with the server and can be seen on a windows machine running any other version of Office (same in OWA). I've logged the user in on my Mac and blown away my profile and seeing the same issue.
Not sure if this narrows my issue down to the Exchange server receiving the send request from a Mac or if it's some setting in Outlook on the Mac?
I do not see anything in the logs on the server and have not seen any error son the Mac.
Any thoughts as to where my issues is?

    Hi,
According to your description, I find that there is a single user cannot send email.
I suggest using Outlook on Windows machine and sending emails via this single user to verify whether the emails can be sent.
If the single user can send email via Outlook on Windows machine, it seems an issue on the Mac side.
I suggest asking Outlook for Mac Forum for help so that we can get more professional suggestions.
    For your convenience:

If can't send emails in Outlook, it seems an issue on the single user side.
I suggest trying to access the single user's mailbox via OWA to verify whether the mailbox has been migrated completely.
    Thanks

  • Can't Send Email from Iphone Using Pop Account

I have check our host names, ports, user name, passwords etc (all the account mail settings are OK) for incoming and outgoing servers. I can receive email fine but can't send them back out through the outgoing server. I am using the identical settings that I used in my Treo (which sent out emails fine). Upon sending an email the error message I get on my iphone is: " The recipient [email protected] was rejected by the server." I've noticed that I can send an email to "myself" (from the iphone) and it will show up on the in my email box, but email sent to other addresses will generate the above message. I've noticed, too, that I have to keep resetting the "Authentication" to "Password" (under advance settings) because it mysteriously resets itself to "MD5 Challenge-Response". The setting should be set to "Password" however. We are using a FirstClass email system. Sending email via the iphone by way of .mac, yahoo and gmail works fine (no mysterious rest of the "Authorization" settings either) .
It most me something obvious, but I can't see it.
I would really appreciate some help.

  • Can't send email only receive using safe-mail

I have a www.safe-mail.net email account and i have been trying to set it up on the Iphone.
I switched pop 3 on etc in safe mail and entered the settings it suggests. I managed to receive email but it kept refusing to send it out.
If anyone has any ideas would really appreciate it as it is driving me mad.
    thanks

The Mac Mail program is not stupid but garbage in = garbage out.
The colon being added between Earthlink's server and your user name is normal with an authenticated SMTP server.
Although I have cable modem internet service at home, I've kept an old Earthlink dial-up account for use when traveling if a high speed wired or wireless connection isn't available (which is becoming less common). I use Earthlink's authenticated SMTP server to send messages with my Earthlink account when connected to my ISP at home and to send messages with my other email accounts when using Earthlink's dial-up for internet access when traveling.
My Earthlink SMTP server settings are as follows:
    SMTP Server: smtpauth.earthlink.net
Server Port: 587 (this is determined by the ISP used for connecting to the internet but since you are not using Earthlink for internet access, Port 587 should work but not always)
Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): Off or not selected.
    Authentication: MD5 Challenge-Response
User Name: Your entire Earthlink email address.
Password: Your account password - the same password use for checking the incoming mail server for new messages.
If these settings do not work, it is likely the ISP you are using for internet access is blocking the use of all SMTP servers that are outside of their network on any port even if authenticated.
I don't want to use my ISP's way of sending and receiving email.
I just want to use my ISP for DSL service and keep my earthlink
    mail email address.
Unfortunately, you have NO control over this. You are at the complete mercy of your ISP and their restrictions.
You can add your ISP's SMTP server information to the Mail.app and select/use your ISP's SMTP server to send messages with your Earthlink account which is completely invisible to all recipients.

  • * Can We Send Email Notifications Only using User Task in Oracle BPM ?? *

    Hi All,
Can we send any email notification to initiator, only from Oracle BPM User / Human task without using any notification activity.
Is it possible to send email notifications using BPM User task alone.
    Any Help appreciated.
    Regards
    Satya

    Hi Satya,
To send an email to the person who initiated the work item instance in the process when the instance reaches a human task:
    1. Ensure that the id of person who initiated the instance is stored in the process predefined variable called "creator".
    2. In the Interactive activity's input data mapping, map this "creator" process predefined variable to the corresponding "creator" attribute in the human task's execData.
    3. Open the human task -> click the "Notification" tab -> click the "+" icon in the upper right -> on the new row added to the bottom of the list, leave the task status dropdown set to "Assign" and change the recipent (the middle column) to "Initiator".

  • Re: Can't send emails from home location - Outlook 2003

The same thing is happening for me!! If I send a message from home using Thunderbird I get the error message that smtp is not available. When doing the same thing from work, also using Thunderbird, the message goes through without a problem. This just started happening this morning.BTW, I am in Saratoga, California.Stefano

Thanks, I switched on SSL, which enabled port 465 and all is well.
Why wasn't I notified of this change and had to scramble to find out that a bunch of other people were also affected ?
    Best,
    Stefano
You should have received an email in your Primary email address.  The roll out of the change began back in November for some, but not all Users.  It is continuing to be rolled out now too.  Considering the number of Comcast customers that had been using Port 25, it does not surprise me if youir email fell through the cracks.

  • Can't send email to my own domain

The mail program on my iphone works fine, except for one thing - i can't send email to anyone using the domain name as me (our business has its own email domain).
Since most of my emails are to other people inside our business, this is very frustrating).
I am guessing I have done something silly in the set up, but am too much of a novice to figure it out.
    Any suggestions?

Sorry - typo in the above question. Should read:
"I can't send email to anyone using the SAME domain name as me"
    Tks.

  • IPhone 2.0 can't send email

None of my four mail accounts will send from my iPhone (first gen/ 2.0) ("connection with smtp server.... failed"), after syncing with iTunes/mobileme. I have a roadrunner account and all works from my mac laptop, and I receive email on iPhone just fine. I checked the configuration of each mail account on my iPhone and they appear to be identical to those on the laptop. I've reset everything, turned everything off and on... Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I am having a very similar problem. When I try to send or reply to any email I get 'the recipient is invalid' error message every time. I also have an intermittent issue where the iphone just won't fetch email unless I reboot it. This just started happening when I applied the 2.0 upgrade to first gen IPhone.
