My iPad 2 will not connect to my wifi. It was working and now will not connect.
My iPad 2 will no longer connect to my wifi. It was working and just stopped. My wifi still works on my laptop. I have tried resetting my network connections, rebooting, turning wifi off and then back on. Not sure what else to do.....
So whats the exact issue? Can you see the network? What happens when you try and connect to the network
If you can see the network and can connect to it do you see a little blue circle with an arrow pointing to the right? If you do could you please click that & confirm what IP address you are receiving.

I read all related posts, did the software update to latest version, restarted several times, and did wifi reset. Actually my statmenet above is not entirely true. It does discover the network and connects when I place the device on top of a router, but moving to 50cm away from it and the connection disconnects and there are no networks discovered. I have tried it with 2 different routers, both of them are working well with my blackberry and laptop - and this was also working with the ipad before.Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo.
If this does not work, then restore the iPad to its factory settings and start again. -
Email was working and now will not. can recieve but not sent
Prior to turning off computer for three days all was working well. after turning on computer i could receive emails but not send. Could not even reply, as well as new. Other browsers work fine.
Could not even uninstall Mozella.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

I have been using Firefoz for several months. It will not start now. I click on the icon and nothing happens. I'm running Windows 7.
Did you reinstall from backups, or www.Mozilla.org?

It was working and now it's not
I was listening to music throughout the house all day so iTunes was sending to the Apple TV for the theater speakers. I turned everything off, did some stuff and then decided to listen to some more music while I worked. I turned on everything including the TV this time so I could select music from there. iTunes is on but it no longer can connect to the Apple TV. I get this error message.
An error occurred while connecting to the AirPlay device “Apple TV”. An unknown error occurred (-15000).
I double checked the TV input and it is correct. The screen glows slightly and if I press the remote buttons I hear the familirar beeps but nothing else is happening. There have been no power outages or anything else weird happening since I turned it off and back on beyond the passage of an hour or so. What's happening?
I will go disconnect the power and do all the usual stuff but there is no good reason why this happened and all the messages I could find concerning similar unknown error messages have gone unanswered. Does no one know what is happening?Hello ladybastet,

ThanksThe app may not be iOS6 compatible. Have you tried to reset it? HOld down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red slider, and unitl you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps. If it doesn't, then I'd contact Kindle and see when they're going to update their app or if they even know there's an issue. Unfortunately, the burden is on app developers to be compatible with the operating system, not on the OS to be compatible with millions of apps. So it's up to them.

I recently changed my wifi password at home and now my iphone will not connect. It will not ask me for a password just says will not connect to network. Advice on how to get iphone to ask network password for wifi?
First, try tapping on the network in the Wi-Fi settings and then tap "forget this network". Then reselect the network in the main Wi-Fi settings screen and see if will then ask for a password. If not, try resetting the Network Settings in the General -> Reset section and then reconnecting to your W-iFi.

I just tried updating my iPad through iTunes and it said it was unsuccessful and now is telling me to restore my iPad!! why is this and I'm not sure if it did back up because my iPad will not turn on.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My Ipad did work on my wireless at home and works on other wireless but no longer at home. My IPhone works at home and others can use the wireless> Confused that it did work and now does not?

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

I just updated my Ipad 2 to IOS 7, now it is asking me for a passcode. I never set a passcode on my Ipad, so how can I enter a passcode. Earlier today I upgraded my Iphone 5 to IOS 7 and it asked me to set a passcode, which now works fine on my Phone. I tried using the OIS7 passcode I use on my Iphone 5 and it did not work and now my Ipad is disabled. Both devices are on icloud and share the same apple id. The Ipad screen says slide to set up but then there is a prompt for passcode, not for setting up passcode
I called Apple Support and a supervisor helped resolve this for me on my iPad. I suggest calling them for help as this is obviously an issue with the iOS 7 update - she helped me without charge. I could be missing something in my upcoming description, so do not take this as complete - call them.
I had to update iTunes on my Mac Air to the latest version, and I had an iCloud backup from the day I updated to iOS7. Have iTunes open but do NOT connect your iPad yet. Shut down the iPad. Then press/hold the Home key on the iPad while you connect the USB from the iPad to the computer (an image of the USB cable appeared on the iPad). Follow the prompts in iTunes to restore and then backup using iCloud. When the iPad rebooted again to do the backup install, I got the same pass code issue and iTunes would not recognize the iPad without entering a pass code. I disconnected the iPad, turned it off, pressed the Home key while connecting the USB cable. When I did the restore and backup from iCloud the second time, it worked without the pass code issue occurring. -

First is the most USB ports do not provide enough power to charge an iPad. Do not try and charge your iPad from such USB ports.
There is no 240v charger. There is one charger that will work with US voltages and European voltages. If your iPad is not charger with the charger, make certain that is an iPad charger, not an iPhone charger. If the charger does not work try swapping the cable as the cable may be bad. If that does not work try another charger. All simple steps that should be attempted before pinning the problem on IOS 8. -
I just got my iPad and the iMessage was working and than all of a sudden it stopped and when I tired to log back in, it said I had a bad connection which I didn't. So it won't let me use my iMessage
Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
