My Ipad 2 will no longer synch with ITunes after I updated to the latest ITunes software. It says error OxE8000065. Does not recognize this IPod.I have rebooted both Ipad and PC and uninstalled /reinstalled Itunes software. Same problem.
Any suggestions?

When I try to open the slide to upgrade screen comes up and then the request for passcode and then the apple loading screen then Hello then update completed screen I select continue another apple with line showing progress then asking for password enter then Message and Face time a screen
then a get started screen and then another apple with line showing progress and then my opening screen shows for a split second and then back to the apple with progress for a split second and then it shuts down.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

My Ipad min will not power up or start after being on the charger this morning. Was working just need to be charged no nothing.

My Ipad min was working fine this morning when I noticed it need to be charged along with my Iphone. Put them both on chargers. Now Ipad min will not power or come out of sleep mode. tried pushing home botton and the sleep/awake button on the to right to no avail. Any Ideas what to try next?

Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if, it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red (-) to delete all apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

My iCal worked fine on my MacBook Pro so I ran Chronosync between my MacBook Pro laptop and iMac, the problem seems to have disappeared. Both computers have a working iCal now and I have my fingers crossed that they will stay so!!!

Okay...I bought an Ipad2 yesterday and happily brought it home to start using it. My HP Pavilion dv6 running Windows 7 would not recognize it. I think I have tried everything. Re-install, uninstall, re-install itunes (including the various other components 'Apple Application Support, 'Apple Mobile Support' etc.). I upgraded the BIOS to the HP (a recommendation from the HP site). After about 5 hours of fumbling and a rather disappointed look at an ipad with a USB on the screen, I suddenly remembered my daughter had an ipod so maybe I could at least get started on that machine (an older Fujitsu Siemens). THAT worked.
In any case, I've gotten that far, but I don't plan on using my daughter's laptop forever. So - I came back to my HP and tried again. Still no luck. at the recommendation of several tried Restoring everything (and of course, not only did I lose everything, it wouldn't boot up again). I tried again uninstalling, reinstalling everything. No luck...Back to my daughter's machine for a reinstallation.
One difference. My HP now recognises the hardware. So, when I plug it in, I get the usual Windows 7 popup asking me what to do with it. At least my computer now recognises the hardware! itunes sometimes comes back with an error message 0xe8000065 and I've also had an error 1603.
I'm getting rather tired of all this after 2 days of trying on my own searching google, Apple support, and HP support. Does anyone have any ideas?

I try connecting to I tunes i get an error message with the error message IxE000068 any ideas

My Apple TV (1st Gen) will not synch with iTunes on my Laptop

I've been trying to do this for a while, it shouldn't be too difficult i think.
All i want to do is synch all the content on my laptop with my Apple TV (and vice versa) so all the content including photos and home videos is the same on both my Apple TV and my laptop.
Some points:
There's enough hard drive space on both
I'm using Windows 7 ultimate on my laptop
The correct port exceptions have been added to Windows Firewall
I have purchases on both my laptop and Apple TV from the iTunes store
We're using a wireless network and it while it's possible to get them both cable wired, it would be a pain
Home networking is set up in iTunes on my laptop
I've set up my Apple TV to synch (not stream) with my account on my laptop
Both iTunes and Apple TV are up to date with their downloads
I think that's it - am i missing anything, or should this now just work?

Suddenly my iPhone 4 (ios4.3.4) will not synch with my iMac (OS 10.6.8). What can be the problem? The iPhone and the iMac seem to work fine in all other was and the iphone gives off its usual sound when plugged into the computer.

iPhoto opens but not iTunes and no synching noted either on iMac or iPhone and after a few seconds iPhone screen goes black. I turned off and restarted. Since upgrading to lion, my address book will not synch with icloud or my iphone 4. Any idea what I should do?

I can't figure out what's going on. Been working on this all day. Yes, all the preferences are checked off and I've triple checked everything. The truth is, after many experiments, I think the problem has to do with how address book is communicating with my contact list. I use quickbooks 2012 for mac. It has all of my customers and vendors synched with my address book on my mac. If I add a customer in quickbooks it shows up in address book on my mac. But it doesn't show up in Icloud or on my Iphone. If I manually add a customer to my Iphone it synchs fine with Icloud and my address book. It seems that the only time devices can't communicate is when I add a contact in quickbooks. No matter what I do, I can't get the new contact from quickbooks to icloud or my iphone. It looks like those programs/devices completely ignore the new contact in address book that was created in quickbooks. I realize you probably can't help me here but if you have any ideas let me know.

i was able to connect and synced songs yesterday.
but when i tried it again today. i cant connect again.
i tried to disconnect and reconnect million times and i even dropped

Plantronics bluetooth will not synch with iPhone5

My iPhone5 will not synch with my Plantronics Bluetooth. I turned on Bluetooth earpiece and turned on Bluetooth on phone, but phone just says "searching...". I have tried turning off both devices and starting over again, but nothing happens.

Contact NIK for updated/upgraded versions of their plug-ins. They have been having a lot of issues with their plug-ins.
