My iPad 2 will not update the apps
I just upgraded my iPad 2 to 8.02 and 24 apps will not upgrade even when sinking to my MBPro through iTunes. Everything else is fine.
Suggestions. I've done hard restarts. I could just ignore but the red numbers are always there.
Um are you logged in and connected to the internet?

Syncing my iPad with my iMac will not update the apps software
Whenever I sync my iPad Air 2 to my iMac the updated apps on the iMac will not update the apps in the iPad. I have rebooted the iMac and iPad, tried different cords, and checked all settings. All other things in the iPad sync properly.
Are you using iTunes Match by chance? I had no problems whatsoever with play counts synching between any of my devices until I started using iTunes Match. I turned it off and magically my play counts synced. Once. Hasn't happened again though.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

My iPad will not update apps. It states it is installing but if never completes the installation this has been going on for more than 24 hours. What do I need to do?
Try a reset:
1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds
2. Until you see the Apple logo (very important) -
My iPad 3 Will not update ils apps.. They are there but I can't open them... I have Internet .. It just says not available right now.. It's been 3 days????
Quick update, the duplicate of the comic-con episode downloaded succesfully, and so has the first episode of Supernatural season 8. Blue dots appear to their left in the library.
All the Vampire Diaries episodes (except the bonus comic-con double) have vanished, but I paid for them !
They're not anywhere on my harddrive either.
Which is new by the way, this is a new MacbookPro, literally set it up today.
So it would seem this is a case of purchased and pseudo-downloaded episodes that ended up beinge gobbled up by some iTunes black hole, leaving me with no money, and no episodes.
Need help, confirmed. -
My iPad will not update 2 of apps
My iPad will not update 2 of my apps. It shows the bar on them saying they need to load so I click on them and it says this app can not be uploaded at this time. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have tried to upload them on different types of internet and it will update all my other apps except those two.
Have you tried updating them one at a time? If that doesn't work, then update them in iTunes on the computer you sync with, delete the apps from your device, and then sync the updated ones to it via iTunes.
Cheers,

My iPad will not update apps. I did try all previous suggestions.
My iPad will not update apps. I did try all the suggestions. When I click on the rapidly growing number of updates, the screen stays blank. Nothing is being downloaded. I have worn out the re-boot function.
This is a problem that many users are experiencing now. Apple is working on a fix.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this, because you cant fix it. It is a workaround only.
you can update your apps in iTunes on your computer and sync the, to the iPad as well. -
My iPad will not update to 5 at all. I don't even have the option of software update in settings. I've tried to update over iTunes and it doest work there either.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

I've changed iPad carriers but iTunes will not update the carrier settings,
I've changed iPad carriers but iTunes will not update the carrier settings, stating that the requested resource could not be found. Does anyone know how I can download the ipcc file and force an update.
Your iPad may already have the latest carrier settings, especially if you have updated to iOS 4.3.3.

The app store will not update my apps.
The app store will not update my apps. I keep clicking update all but it just spins for hours. I have restarted the computer and the store multiple times but it just hangs on updates. Suggestions?
De nada amigo.
Thank You for extending the courtesy of awarding points to comments that are helpful or provide answers in the Apple Support Communities, as this is not mandatory, but it is much appreciated! -
My iPad is suddenly not loading any apps. When I click on an app, the screen flickers to black and then back to normal, but will not load the app. This is ALL the apps, not just one. Have tried rebooting, to no avail.
Was a Restore one of the things tried.? [Attach the iPad to your computer and in iTunes click on your device. On the Summary page click on Restore and go through the process. Be sure to click YES to Restore from a previous backup.]

My iPad will not update. It has said "waiting" for days
My iPad will not update. each time it says "waiting" and is installing or updating for days
Are you trying to update the iOS or install app updates?
Have you tried turning the iPad Off and then back On?
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.
Cheers, Tom

Inquiries in general exporting.
Hello all, I'm really a bonehead when it comes to some things. A while back I tried exporting some stuff, a 30 sec. sequence let's say, to use on a web site. The file was huge, so I tried to export a smaller file but ended up w/ an even larger file.
