My iPad 2 won't connect to my wifi at home

My iPad will connect to wifi at my work, and my friends house etc. when I am home it will show that I am connected to my wifi but I can't get on the web or anything else that needs internet access. We also have 2 other iPads in the house and they have no problem connecting.

reset network settings
settings- general- reset - reset network settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings - wifi- click network name - enter password - join

Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

The two things to try first are renewing your network lease, forgetting the network and if that doesn't work to reset all networks. You might have tried one of these but I'll repeat the steps just to make sure.
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Renew Lease
If that doesn't work then
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Forget this Network
If that doesn't work
Settings > General > Networks > Reset All Networks > then reset your iPhone by
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
I hope one of these will help.

IPad won't connect to Wi-Fi at home

I've been messing with this quite a bit last night. Brand new iPad, just updated it through iTunes last night, and can't get it to connect the internet. My iPhone connects just fine (also running 6.1) so I don't see where the problem could be. There's no password on my connection, so I know it's nothing with that. I've tried:
1. Hitting "Forget Network" and trying to re-connect.
2. Resetting data network on the iPad.
3. Soft-resetting the iPad.
4. Resetting my router/modem (unplugging for 20 seconds or so, plugging back in).
None of that seems to work. Once in awhile, my iPad will connect to my network but there won't be any internet connection. There will be a "check" icon next to my network on the iPad, but there will still be a "refreshing" icon (the little icon that spins in circles) around the "Available Networks" text above my network.
Again, brand new 4th Gen iPad, haven't even had the chance to use it yet. Any ideas on what I can do?

Bumping this back up. Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated! I also tried adjusting the brightness level, that didn't help.
I'm connected to Wi-Fi right now, but getting no internet access. Full-strength as far as bars go as well, my iPad is literally six inches away from my router right now lol. Again, iPhone has no issues what-so-ever on Wi-Fi.

I took my ipad out for the day and when I got home it won't connect to my home hub. Says it is in settings but then the status icon just keeps turning round and there is no internet. I have two iPhone 4s' in the house and they are fine. Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

IPad won't connect to WiFi network, but macbook pro & iphones will.

Both of my iPhones and my Macbook Pro easily connect to the wi-fi network. I feel like I've tried everything to get my iPad to connect. It used to connect perfectly fine and I'd watch Netflix, but then it started crashing. I work for a non-profit so it's a company network, not my personal one, but it's the only network I have considering I live here! Such a pain!
I've reset my network settings.
I've click "Forget Network"
I've done a hard reset of the iPad multiple times.
NOTHING WORKS.
Can some super tech savvy person help a girl out?! I would greatly appreciate it.

IPad won't connect

I get online via wifi. My iPhone connects fine as evidenced by this post. But my IPad just hangs there. After three or four minutes it connects to my printer. Well it thinks it does.   I've never had this issue. I'm wondering if there is a setting I redid but I checked all and they seem fine. I was on my Windows laptop and all was good. Closed down and ate dinner. Tried iPad but it just won't cooperate.
I only have this connection with no backup. So it's vital I fix it. All suggestions welcome.

MY ipad will not connect to the bt wifi box at home. It tells us that the password is incorrect but isn't. We have followed all of the ideas above but none will work. Thanks

Since I upgraded to OS 6 my ipad will not connect to my WiFi unless I am right next to it. if i walk more than three feet away it looses connection. I have tried the brightness, resetting the network settings, changing the channel on my router...help. I have century link in Phoenix arizona. modem/router is a
ZyXEL - PK5000Z. It seems to work ok on my work wifi.
My iphone and netbook work perfectly with it. I do have an upgrade to the software on my iphone, but I fear that will loose wifi as well.
