Check out the article below to troubleshoot issues with connecting to WI-Fi. You may want to reset the Network Settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. It will not delete remove any personal data besides and known Wi-Fi networks that you have joined in the past.

my girlfriend stole his iphone 5 and could not find my iphone locate because they turn it off.
my question is, if the iphone 5 have a password to access does not ask why when I try to shut down?
apple should of IOS patching to ask for the password to turn off the device.I see your point but if they are running iOS 7 on the iPhone they can locate it next time it is connected to the internet. Whoever has the iPhone cannot stop this without turning Find My iPhone off which requires the Apple ID password.
At some point in time that person will connect the iPhone to the internet and when they do the owner will have a location, if they restore the iPhone in recovery mode they won't be able to activate it so the iPhone will be useless to them. -
My mac mini loses connection with my receiver after turning off the receiver then back on
My Mac Mini loses connection with my Onkyo receiver NR-609 after turning off the receiver then back on. The only way to reistablish the connection is to unplug then replug the HDMI cable to the Mac Mini. There's no effect if I unplug then replug the HDMI to the receiver. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I've searched a lot but haven't found much of anything so if this is covered elsewhere I would greatly appreciate a link.
Thanks in advanceHi and thanks. I don't know about the audio prefs. When it happens I am not able to see or hear anything from the computer until I un/re-plug the HDMI to the Mini. I'm not sure it's changing to something else because there's nothing else connected for it to change to. I could see that perhaps the audio will change to the Mac Mini's internal speaker.
I found out last night that if, after I lose the signal, I use my ipad to play a video on the Mac Mini using the Remote app and home sharing the signal gets righted and I can see/hear the computer again. It's quite an inconvenient fix though and I wish and hope someone here can help me. -

Is this for text you've already typed? Did you select it first? If that's not it, for PSE 11 and 12 go to the far right of the tool options, click the four-lined square and choose Reset Tool. For PSE 10 and earlier go to the far left options bar, click the tiny triangle (or the tool icon for really old versions) and choose Reset Tool.

My iPad2 3G won't connect to 3G. It used to (bought Nov 2011) but hasn't for a couple weeks. The AT&T account is current. I've tried turning off the wifi but it still won't connect to 3G. Any ideas?
Have you tried using it in a different location; say in the town center.

The Camera Connection Kit USB component attaches to the iPad and the iPhone connects to this through the USB cable. The iPad should recognize the iPhone as a Camera ans show the photos on the iPhone. You can then import the photos you want.

I am in Antigua, Guatemala, but my iPad suddenly thinks that it is in China. I have looked at all the settings and have not been able to fix it. I cannot access a phone support, because it is not available for this location. I was also unable to find an email address to contact Apple support. Would be very grateful if anyone can help.
RoselyneThere may be nothing really wrong with your iPad. I recall people talking about the location and the router it's connected to....basically the router you're accessing the net through thinks it's in china (likely where it was made) so your iPad is just following hte info the router is giving it...wrong info.
When you get a chance take it away from that router and access another wifi hotspot. See if it resets. There may not be any easy fix, but you can at least know it's not a problem with your device. -

What do you mean by "turns on"? If you have any push notifications turned on and do not have Do Not Disturbed engaged, you may see the iPad spring to life occasionally.

Sorry, wrong term! I should have said "Auto Lock" not Control Lock. Auto Lock is in "Settings" "General", about half way down the menu. I'm looking for a way to lengthen the time it takes to enter sleep mode. There are 5 options in Auto Lock. 2,5,10,15 minutes and Never.

Installer stopped at 95% and won't let me force quit, restart or turn off the computer
The flash player install manager stopped at 95% on my Mac and has been like that for a couple of days now. I can't end the installer, I can't even force quit. The installer doesn't allow me to restart or turn off the computer, because it's "still installing".

IPad won't connect to itunes why?
My iPad won't connect to iTunes, iPhoto recognises the connection but the photos don't display! iTunes tells me it can't connect to the device. I'm using iOS 5.1.1 on te iPad which it tells me is up to date when I look for software updates, iTunes 11.0.1. Please help.
