My iPad 2 YouTube website never loads?

I have tried updating my iPad 2 software and still my YouTube site never loads , the YouTube app works , but the site never loads? Any solutions?

Mister Bushido-
If the video you are trying to access is not compatible with the iPad, that would explain the problem.
Are you using Safari or the YouTube App to access YouTube?  Try the opposite and see what the results are.  There may be an error message on one that doesn't show up on the other.

  • After upgrading to Firefox 24, YouTube videos never load

I have Lubuntu 12.04 and Gnash. Up until yesterday (when Upgrade Manager uploaded the latest Firefox to version 24) all was well.
NOW, the page loads, I click on the large "Play" symbol superimposed over the video image, and all I get thereafter is the circling dots loading symbol.
Gnash gets far enough that it creates the "videoplayback__" file for the video, but it is typically only a few kb large (and it cannot be played, naturally).
If there is a workaround/solution, great - if not, please tell me how to get version 23 back (but also let me know when the problem is fixed so I can get the new fixed version)
    Thank you.
P.S. To get this question down to an acceptable size, I deleted all the printer-related Troubleshooting Information that for some reason Troubleshooter saw fit to include....
Before I did so, I was told to: "Ensure this value has at most 30,000 characters (it has 47,676)." ("Value" ???)

YouTube videos freezing up after about 30s
I am contributing the following observations both as information and in an effort to help FF find a fix for what broadly speaking is an on-going problem, but possibly not as some users have suggested specifically with FF or on the other hand with Adobe Flash. Please forgive the length.
After updating FF23.0.1 to FF24.0 and updating Adobe Flash Player from 11.8.* to 11.9.900.117 shortly afterwards I have found that when using my broadband dongle ANY YouTube video I play in FF freezes up after 26-30 seconds although the progress bar continues; if I give it long enough the screen turns green - a first for me - and I receive a message that the Adobe Flash Player has crashed. The SAME effect occurs in Google Chrome using its default Adobe Flash Player, v11.8.* (it recognizes 11.9.900.117, but I have not tried that in Chrome yet).
With Opera v12.16 and v15, however, with and WITHOUT the turbo feature on for slow connections, I have no problem with YouTube videos. In a single test using FF with an ethernet connection YouTube videos played properly. So, superficially, the problem would seem to be related to a slow connection speed with the dongle, although this does not explain the crashing of the Flash Player in FF and Chrome, but not in Opera: I have been using the dongle since December 2009 and have NEVER encountered this issue before. Also, with FF, I tried playing a flash video on another website at various qualities and the video did not freeze up. So, why this problem with YouTube? It might also be added that FF users have been reporting FF/Adobe Flash/YouTube problems for at least a few years and it is unlikely that they were all using broadband dongles. I do have some difficulty playing some Quicktime videos while using my dongle, which may also suggest an internet connection issue; nevertheless, as noted, this does not explain the persistent and unusual crashing of the Flash Player or the green-screen effect or Opera's ability to play YouTube videos.

  • Mobile YouTube website not loading videos over 3G

This problem has only surfaced in the last couple of weeks for myself and a couple of other friends. When I go to http://m.youtube.com and try to load a video using 3G, it doesn't load. The same video will load with no problems over 3G if I use the YouTube app and the mobile site will work over Wifi. I've tried deleting my cache/cookies and restoring my phone and it did nothing. I was sent here from the YouTube support page by a Google employee, so basically they're not taking responsibility for it.
My friends who are also having the problem are with different carriers to me, so it's very unlikely that both of them started blocking access to YouTube over 3G at the same time.
Has anyone else had this problem or knows of a way to fix it?

I noticed that yesterday! It kept telling me to Enable Plugins in my Safari settings but there is no plugin to enable unless it was talking about on the computer and not the phone. I finally got it to work but its not the Youtube I am used to using.

  • Some websites never load

I hae tried uninstall/reinstall of firefox but I am having the same problem with ie8. I have run full system scan and gotten rid of malware and tracking cookies. I have checked addons and they appear to be enabled. I have cleared cache, cookies and history and even turned off my firewall.

This is a customer-to-customer forum. Your best bet is calling Verizon directly and speak with technical support.

  • What procedure do I use if I was charged for an app but it was never loaded on my IPad

Who do I contact if I was charged for an APP for my IPad 2 that was never loaded?

Go back to the App Store and try to download it again. If it says in the store that it's already Installed, it's probably somewhere on the iPad.
You can report issues with your iTunes Store purchases directly through the iTunes Store:

  • IPad websites not loading

Today i have found that not all of the websites on my iPad are loading. google will load but when i search for something and click the link to load the page i just get a white page and the blue loading bar is only 1/10th of the way accross and it never loads. I have shut down the ipad, reset my router, renewed licence, forget network and nothing works. can anyone give any advice?

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History).
If that doesn't work then you could try closing Safari completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is to try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Your plugins list in "more system details" shows Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_31 for Mozilla browsers so Java should not be blocked.
Could you post a link to a webpage where Java isn't working for you? YouTube uses Flash, not Java. Here is a list of Java test pages you can try, to confirm that Java is working, from http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Testing_Java
    * [http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.jsp Test your Java Virtual Machine (JVM)] at java.com.
    * [http://browserspy.dk/java.php Java Information - BrowserSpy.dk]
    * [http://javatester.org/ Java Tester] - The test pages at javatester.org will tell you if your web browser is enabled for Java and, if so, the Java version.
    * [http://www.pinlady.net/PluginDetect/Java/ Java Plugin Detector]
By the way, I see in your plugins list that you also have the VLC media player Web Plugin 2.0.0 so, it's possible that the VLC plugin is causing a conflict if YouTube or other videos don't work. See [[Video or audio does not play]] (you may need to disable the VLC Media Player plugin in the Add-ons -> Plugins list for some media to play).

  • Why does it take. So much longer for YouTube videos to load on my iPad 1st gen. then on my iPod touch?

Why does it take so much longer for YouTube videos to load on my 1st gen. iPad then on my iPod touch or my laptop?

This is not the place to make a point. This is a user to user support forum. I do not need instructions about the use and care or alleged failure of cables. At no time did I ever say or imply that you were an idiot, that is your statement and words, not mine. Take the time to Google and you will find instances where there have been injuries and death dealing with 3rd party cables and chargers. The abilities that Apple has for manufacturing and what business decisions they make in creating their products is nothing more than speculation, and that is not allowed under the terms of the forum that you agreed on when you joined here. If you want to rant at Apple, then use the feedback link, www.apple.com/feedback. Other users cannot do anything for you.

  • Firefox can not load YouTube Website

I put youtube.com in address bar and Firefox can not load youtube website. It eventually times out. Any suggestions? I have tried clearing the cache, closing firefox and re-opening, downloaded firefox again, and the same problem persists.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br /><br />

Because I know enough to be dangerous...  I was trying to extend the two outside columns down....  Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links.  When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page.  I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article.  From the Event Photos page the links look like this:
    <a href="1112Visions_Iss1.html/#puzzle" target="_self">[Puzzle]</a>
The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it  can't find the page).  To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing.  It makes no sense.  When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what.  I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
    Got any ideas?

  • Slow ipad.  Youtube videos slow to load.  Buffering constantly

Slow ipad. Youtube videos take a long time to load.  Constantly buffering

Try restarting your iPad by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at this same time until you see the Apple logo, then give it a try.  If you are still having problems try restarting your router.

Hi there - I can't open the YouTube website or any videos following and update to iOS 8.3 on my iPad 2. Can't anyone offer any advice? thanks.

If you're on the YouTube website on safari, then you should use the YouTube app, it works much better

  • After i down load the upgrade for my ipad the youtube app disapear

how can i get back in my ipad the youtube app? ty

Download the iPhone version or Jasmine in the App Store.
Wait for Google to release an iPad or Universal YouTube app in the App Store.
Use Google and take the risk of downgrading your OS, something Apple does not support and is not without risks.

  • Is anyone having problems syncing iPhoto to iPad 2 after iOS 7.0.3 update? when I click on photos tab, I get a circular dashed loading icon that is perpetually there. It never loads the library

When I click on photos tab, I get a circular dashed loading icon that is perpetually there. It never loads the library. i dont even see the iphoto content! thx for your help!

I am certain too that it is possibly the 7.0.3 update. Have you tried restoring from backup? I am uncertain that might work but its worth a try.
If that doesn't work I suggest that you give feedback to Apple directly. The more about this problem, the quicker it will get resolved.
