Please help me, my iPad only connects to EDGE i have tested a few SIM cards, its not a SIM problem or area coverage problem.
I am use iPad 3 wi-fi + cellular and my IOS 7.0.3.
please please please help me.

What cellular network? Few SIM cards? Where are you getting these SIM cards, because almost any of them have to be activated with the iPad, you just can't throw in some random one.
We need more information to help out.

My new iPhone 4 (upgraded from 3GS), will only sustain a connecton to EDGE, as opposed to ATT's 3G.
Other co-workers around me have no issues with their 3GS or 4 at the same location, so the issue is only with my phone.
When I restart, I am able to log onto 3G for around 3-5 minutes before it switches back over to EDGE.

Purchased an iPhone 4 with the exact same problem. Phone would stay on Edge all the time. Would not connect to my MicroCell either. It would connect to 3G and the MicroCell when resetting the phone or network settings, but this would last 2-3 minutes and it would revert back to Edge. From what I tried (call AT&T, Apple, restored phone, new software) it is a defect with the phone and it needs to be replaced.

Apple TV & iPad 2: only connecting for a second?

I am having trouble using airplay to mirror my iPad 2 to my Apple TV. I tap the airplay button, select Apple TV (the check mark moves from iPad to Apple TV), turn mirroring on, then in about 10 seconds, it mirrors to the TV for about 1 second and the check mark moves back to iPad. Both devices are new, so I haven't been able to use the Apple TV at all yet. I can't use netflix through the ATV because it doesn't recognize my password. Any suggestions to fix either or both problems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm having a problem with an iPad 2 - 32GB, 3G & Wifi, running iOS 6.0.1.
The iPad will only connect to Edge not 3G.
I've established the following:
There's no problem with the SIM. It works in my other iPad 2 and iPhones, i.e. it connects to the 3G network. I've taken the iPad and SIM to the cellphone service provider and they can't figure out what the issue is, but they've assured me that there's nothing wrong with my account or the SIM.
Other SIM cards from other networks also connect to Edge as opposed to 3G when inserted into the iPad.
It's not the network coverage. Other devices connect to the 3G network, I've also taken to iPad to different areas and it doesn't connect anywhere.
I've tried the following:
I've reset the iPad.
I've removed the SIM from the iPad, following advice on other forums, to "refresh" it. This hasn't worked.
I've reset the network settings. This also hasn't worked.
I eventually restored my iPad to factory settings and this seemed to work because the iPad connected and stayed connected to the 3G network. (Establishing that it's not a hardware issue.) Thinking I solved the problem I restored my iPad from the backup and copied my apps back on. After I've finished this it's once again connecting to EDGE as opposed to 3G.
I would sincerely appreciate help. I need to connect to 3G, I also need the various documents, notes and contacts that are on my iPad as these are important for my day-to-day business operations. Are there any suggestions?

I have done exactly as you say, but it does not work for me.
You indicated " Navigate to the info tab and scroll down. There'll be a check box for 'sync over wifi' or something to that effect. Check that box and sync to affirm your choice."
I navigated to Summary tab (not Info Tab) and checked "Sync with this ipad over Wi-Fi"
I disconnect the wire,
and my iPad disappears from my iTunes screen.
in my iPad ->Settings -> General -> iTunes Wi-Fi Sync -> says " Sync will resume when (my PC) is available.

IPad only connects to home Wi-Fi network when iMac is on and connected????

Since I got my iPad on launch date I've had problems with the Wi-Fi connection. It can always find my home network with a strong signal, and with a bit of trial and error i have discovered that it will only connect to my home network when I switch my iMac on.
Can anyone help?

I have a similar issue with wifi. My home wifi is a strong signal but my iPad fails to automatically connect to it all the time and insists on staying on 3G. Weirdly if I go into system preferences and look at the wifi it says Not Connected, as soon as I click on it my wifi shows up and I can select it and it connects without issue and shows full strength. Why does it not auto connect ? It did when I first bought the iPad.
At work it always tries to connect to my office wifi as soon as I turn it on.

If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

HT3621 Does iPad bluetooth only support (connect) to Apple products?

I have been trying to connect my LG cell phones to my iPad2 and it keeps telling me it (iPad) does not support this device. I assume it will only connect to "i" products. Am I correct.

Not quite. It will connect to non Apple devices...but only keyboards, microphones and headsets. there is no protocol for file transfer or streaming between devices.

My iPad 3 only connects to EDGE.
