My iPad 3 wifi connection has been working perfectly. Now I have lost automatic connections and when I join wifi told it is the wrong password. IT IS NOT. I have reset the network settings and can then connect with no problem. Keeps happening every time I try to join another wifi connection. Seems I can only store one connection at a time. This is a new problem and previously all of the connections I am tying to join worked absolutely perfectly. Is this a software update problem?
Thanks. Seems unlikely that several Wi-fi routers that were working fine have simultaneously stopped doing so.
Have tried a full system reset and set up the ipad as a new device again. Will find out whether that has worked when I try to connect my next wi-fi router tomorrow morning. I will also double check with the other ipad users whether they have been experiencing any problems with the router I could not connect to today until I reset the network settings.

My iPad 2 (ios 7) has been working perfectly fine for years. All of a sudden it's stopped connecting to my home wifi. The password is not recognised, even though it is the right password. I've tired the reboots and forget network etc. The renew lease option is not there, maybe because I reset all network settings. It's just puzzling. I haven't changed anything; my HP laptop is fine. If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

I am using Numbers app for the ipad and it has been working absolutely fine but now, when I want to email a spreadsheet as a PDF via the 'share and print' option, the file now doesn't appear as an attachment to the recipient. Any ideas please?

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

My husbands ipad2 64gb 3G the screen keeps freezing. What ever you are working on stops after about 2 minutes the screen freezes and after another few moments you are required to put you password in again. It only started this morning and had been working perfectly until today. I purchased from eBay three weeks ago. If watching bbc new you can only watch for 2 minutes and same for video and games. Keeps coming back to screen saver where all icons are. Sometimes we are to use the on off button to get it going again. I set it up the same as my own iPad 32gb. Hope you can help? Thanks.
Spilled water without flavorings and especially without sugar is something from which your computer may recover. The best thing to do is to shut off as quickly as possible and remove the battery pack. Place the computer in a sunny window with the lid open to promote evaporation of the water. On top of a refrigerator is also a warm perch that'll promote drying. It is difficult to say exactly how long it takes to dry the computer; that depends on ambient temperature and humidity, and how how water is in there.
The biggest threat from the water is corrosion of metal parts, so drying quickly is a must. Also, water can form mineral salt deposits that can grow conductive dendrites between adjacent traces on printed circuit boards. The formation of dendrites is aggravated if you apply power before the machine is dried out. The worst damage would be if water managed to get in the breather hole of the hard drive - luckily, the way the drive is mounted, that would be fairly unlikely.

Hi Brian - The light at the front of the ATV indicates it is on. I can't see it on the iOS remote app. Actually, I installed the app and when I went to the ATV it said 'no signal'. So, I am not sure if it is coincidence or what, as I did NOT go to the settings on the ATV and change the remote setting. I can't set it to another TV, can I set it to my MacBook to check? I have a 13-in Macbook Pro, 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.
My wifi only works at my house. it has been fine for the past 2 years everywhere else, but now the wifi says its connected, but the internet doesnt work.
I have already tried a number of things to resolve this as it has been happening the past 2 months by looking on here and some have worked, but I can't seem to get anything to work anymore.
When I run the Network Diagnostics the Network Status is the following:
wifi- Green
Wifi-settings- Green
Network Settings- Red
ISP-Red
Internet Server-Red
I am home right now so the internet is working fine, but seeing as I use my macbook for school and work, I need it to work everywhere.

If it was away from home, do you get all green lights when you run it at home, or does it work properly despite not all of the lights being green?
Does your school or work allow anyone’s computer to connect wirelessly, or do these sites require whitelisting of some sort to permit a computer to use their respective networks? -
My iphone 4 will no longer let me switch on the buetooth or wi fi. It was working perfectly then all of a sudden it all stopped!!!!! Why???????

My Nono Ipod wont connect to Itunes anymore. It can't identify properly. I have removed and reinstalled Itunes. Ihave reset the Ipod. I inserted the sensor for running in the Ipod. it's working! Can someone help?

I have a 2007 iMac connected via WiFi. It has been working fine until I turned it on after a recent vacation. Network Preferences indicates that it is correctly connected to my WiFI system but the data input and output rate is virtually zero. I know that the WiFI signal is reaching the iMac since both my iPhone and iPad are working perfectly at that location. I have rebooted the router and the iMac to no avail. My iMac suddenly no longer connects to wifi network when in KIOSK (username) mode, and only connects when as ADMINISTRATOR mode. Its strange because the iMac has been working fine in KIOSK mode for over a year until 2 days ago.

Although there is one little thing that I've noticed. The iMac works properly, but I tried to software update to see if that may help my Minecraft sound issue (as I still don't think only having 2GB instead of 4GB would cause such a problem) but the software update application won't work. Running the "Software Update" from the apple menu on the toolbar gains no response, nothing happens. If I run the software update from system preferences, the application icon appears for a second, then disappears (as in the blank app. icon, the blank canvas with the pencil, pen and ruler in the bottom right corner). It does this every time I try to run it. It did work when the computer was crashing, but this started when on one of the occasions I ran the app. while it was crashing. Since this occured during the crashes, and still occurs now, I'm wondering did something simlar happen minecraft, as it's sound disappeared during the crashes and is still gone now.
However, the computer is now working again without crashes, which is the main thing, thanks for helping me fix the issue

Have you tried restarting the printer? Reboot the iPad as well.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
