You can change the phone number the verification code is sent to from a device or Mac that has your iCloud keychain enabled as follows:
In iOS 8, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
In OS X Mavericks v10.9, choose Apple () > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Account Details. Make sure the phone number under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.

Hi. My iPad 2 will not complete the download and install of the iso 6.1.2 software upgrade to fix the calendar exchange that is draining battery. It goes through the process and then just says there is an error but does not indicate the error. Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Also I don't know if it is connected but it also will not download new apps or iBook I purchased. Please assist if you can.Try:

- Power off the router and then power it back on

my imac will not connect to wifi what so ever. i have tried 3 different routers and all my other apple devices work fine. when i take it to the genius bar it seems to work with apples instore wifi. thus leading the "geniuses" to say nothing is wrong.

If you're running OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and take the remedial steps suggested in the summary that appears, if any. If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. Continue if you find that Wi-Fi is faster with Bluetooth disabled.
From that same menu, select Open Bluetooth Preferences. If the box labeled Discoverable is checked, uncheck it. Click the Advanced button, and in the sheet that opens, uncheck the top three boxes, if any are checked. Click OK. Enable Bluetooth and test again.
If the application called "Bluetooth Setup Assistant" is running, quit it.

This step will erase all your settings in the Network preference pane. Make a note of them before you begin, and recreate them afterwards. It may be helpful to take screenshots of the preference pane.

If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

iphone 4 not recognized and will not sync after latest itunes update. I have done recommendedl trouble shooting and uninstalled and reinstalled itunes to no avail. Can I go back to earlier version of itunes or restore computer to fix?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
Facetime will not activate on my iphone 5. Screen says "waiting to activate". Tried turning it off then on to no avail. I'm on wifi.
That was the first thing I tried and all that happened was it took a picture of the screen (I saw that in my photos folder when the phone finally came back to life).
I tried again with syncing it in itunes and it took a while but eventually it kinda reset itself and I did have to redo the set up again but it's working fine now.
And surprisinly none of my data/pictures was lost which was odd as I heard that doing the restore would delete it all.
Thankfully it's sorted out now. Was really worried for a second that something was seriously wrong. I've only had this phone for 3 months so it would have been awful having to pay for a replacement. -
My new 4th generation iPod touch won't let me view my pictures.. It lets me get into the app but when I try to look at an album it crashes. I've tried resetting and turning it off for a while and nothing has worked. What do I do?

I just upgraded my iPad 2 to 8.02 and 24 apps will not upgrade even when sinking to my MBPro through iTunes. Everything else is fine.
Suggestions. I've done hard restarts. I could just ignore but the red numbers are always there.Um are you logged in and connected to the internet?

Date and Time Will not change the Month
In my System Preferences I can not highlight or change the month from "1" in any manner. This is consistent throughout the system for iTunes (last played), iCal, Finder, etc. a file saved today would be saved as 2008.1.18 as consistent with my layout preferences, but not the actual date. However, in the expanded view, it still will read as May 18th, 2008. Any ideas? Currently I'm in Israel and there aren't any Genius Bars around here, but if not, I'll try in August, in NY
I can't say if Lion has the ability to fix itself, however, I've been useing it since the day it was released and a few bugs it had at first went away after a few days on their own. As far as setting the Date & Time on AppleTV and the other WiFi issues I was having after updating to 10.7.1 (which I felt were huge, persistent, and unacceptable), everything is functioning properly now. The only change I made was this: I made sure that I had a connected WiFi connection using the Airport Utility and Network Preferences via System Preferences and then I locked the Network Preferences to prevent further changes. I can't say for sure if that was all that was needed, but AppleTV, WiFi, and Home Sharing are once again operating correctly and usable.
